Welcome to Nikki's author page. She's an 18 year old Cali girl ready for her first year of college. She's a hippie at heart and a rebel soul; born 30 years too late. :D Fred Weasley, Sirius Black, and Regulus Black OWN. She has a soft spot for Draco Malfoy and Kingsley Shacklebolt as well, and a fast growing fascination with Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange. Her OTP is Sirius/Lily; it DID happen! ;)
She's always reading. read read read. Among her favorite books are Paint It Black, White Oleander (Janet Fitch is exquisite and her other hero), The Outsiders, The Great Gatsby, To Kill A Mockingbird, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Oh, and Killing Yourself to Live. Klosterman is a genius. She also likes a lot of musical non-fiction, like Room Full of Mirrors, Riders on the Storm, and Exile on Main St. After college, she wants to be a rock journalist for an indie magazine. She wishes to be Almost Famous. ;)
Nikki would die without her ipod. If she had a horcrux, it would totally be Ethan the purple nano. She is a music junkie, really, and classic rock is her drug of choice. 'Cause any old way you choose it, its gotta be rock-roll music. If you wanna dance with me. If you wanna dance with me. ;) The Beatles are among the top favorites, and George Harrison is her love. He's such a bloody cutie she could hug him. lol. Hendix is a God; his riffs are orgasmic. There's Zeppelin and The Stones and The Doors and Bob Marley, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, The Who, Queen, Bowie, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith too ... she could go on forever. Basically, rock from the 60s/70s are epic and she loves them. 80s/90s music is good too [NIRVANA! NO DOUBT!], and certain present day stuff as well. JET is probably in her top five favorite bands along with Hendrix, Beatles, and Zeppelin; those awesome aussie boys are made of epic musical WIN. :D

Her drug of choice? Sirius Black.
It was enough to tease him, almost to make the need worse, but he needed more. He wasn’t thinking anymore; not about James, or about himself, or even about what he was about to do. Only that he wanted – needed – to do it. And when he looked up, finally turned his head, he could see in her eyes that fire. She needed it too.
And that was it. Suicide.
This was not a crush. This was not lust. And this most certainly was not love.
This was an agonizing, bone-crushing, physical addiction.
And what a sweet, slippery slope it was.

Four years ago a Black and White Ball brought Sirius Black and Waverly Lennox together.

Summary: It’s Sirius Black’s seventh and final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He expects nothing short of another thrilling year with his best mates James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew (in short, the Marauders); and that the four of them will be, as always, up to no good. He expects their usual antics, which include, among other things, hilarious and ingenious pranks on Snivellus Snape (and a girl who deserves it just as much). Then comes the unexpected.
Love. He’s finally realized just how he feels about her. It only took him about six years, but really, who’s counting? Lust. He does not expect to fall so hard for Scarlett Hunter, a girl who just happens to be one of his best mates as well. Sure, he’s been with girls before, but who knew it could feel so bloody good? Jealousy. It’s too bad that he just happens to be so damn loveable. With a little expertly timed show of cleavage and an unwanted kiss, the most unlikely girl manages to rip it all away from him. Heartbreak. Revenge (mixed with a little more of that brilliant timing) drives Scarlett into the arms of a so-called mate. It probably doesn’t help matters that Sirius decides to commit the crime he was accused of for these same reasons. Needless to say, it doesn’t make either of them feel any better.

When you are born into a family of considerable Wizarding wealth and stature, especially if you are a daughter, you marry for gain and nothing else. The story is no different for Honor Turcotte. To everyone else, she appears to be happily engaged to Rabastan Lestrange. But what hides behind that intoxicating smile is not newly wed excitement. Honor has a thrilling, spine-tingling secret.
And it involves Regulus Black.
Summary: I’ve got a recipe, it’s for disaster …
Start with one haughty and somewhat bitter Slytherin. Add in one slightly confused Ravenclaw. Begin stirring, slowly at first, but as she begins to soften, quicken the pace. Sprinkle in a handful of lust and stir again. Add a spoonful of untold truths, and you mustn’t forget one very jealous best mate. Throw in one Muggle father and a Dark Mark on the arm of the aforementioned Slytherin. Place in oven at 350 degrees and then let cool.
They ran into each other at Flourish and Blotts—literally. Regulus Black and Brooke Teagen both find themselves inexplicably drawn to the other almost immediately, though one of them tries to resist it. In the end, neither can avoid the almost magnetic pull they share, the tangible chemistry.
But what happens between Regulus and Brooke when Reg pledges himself to the Dark Lord forever? What’s more, Regulus is given a difficult task—one that could cost him this girl that has already taught him so much. Sounds like a Recipe for Disaster, but we shall see. Oh, yes, this should be fun.
