Hi! I've been writing fanfiction for a while now and I've finally ventured into the world of Harry Potter. I wrote Things Aren't Always Black and White for my friends, so I hope that you enjoy it as much as they seem to do!

Summary:

Nominated for a 2008 QSQ for Best Marauder Era and Best Original Female Character - Kirsty White

Add together one ladies' man, one Quidditch player, one werewolf, and one soon-to-be traitor. Then, mix in one imaginative idiot, one fiery redhead, one clever Ravenclaw, and one blonde artist. Stir counterclockwise until trouble occurs, and you are dealing with one of the best-loved group of friends in Hogwarts history. Follow the story of the four Marauders and four equally troublesome girls. See them deal with their first encounters of love, sorrow, heartache… and Death Eaters. How will these future Order members cope with the ordeals that life throws at them? Will love blossom in what was once thought a highly unlikely place? What do you do when the person you care about most in the world doesn’t seem to notice you at all? Will a well-kept secret shatter the foundations of a seven-year friendship? Follow the lives of these friends through their last year at school to the dramatic final battle with Lord Voldemort two decades later.

Warnings are for later chapters, and any sexual situations are very minor.

Chapter Twenty One: "Who Said that Beauty and the Beast was just a Fairytale?" is in the queue. Excerpt:

There he stood; a dark figure in a sea of light, the one person who could make her weep with pain and the one person who could take it away.

Hayley’s heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, and she hated herself for still getting excited by a mere glimpse of him.

He stood there for a while, framed by the light and looking like some sort of angelic saviour, his eyes never lifting from her sodden frame. Hayley stared right back up at him, doing a rather favourable impression of a rabbit who’d quite literally been caught in the headlights.

He strode towards her, the elements bombarding him as soon as he relinquished the safety of the castle. The deluge of rain to Remus’ hair plastered his fringe to his forehead and his shirt clung to his skin in seconds.

Hayley was greeted by his shadow before the man himself. She relished the reappearance of the darkness she craved, but begrudged the man who had provided her with the taste of solace.

Remus loomed over her, looking even more gorgeous in his sodden form. She hated him for that.

Dead and Gone by Karaley Dargen, padfootsgirl1981
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 7]

Summary: After the First War, wizards and witches everywhere were celebrating. But there were still losses, and deaths to be mourned; and in the end, there were more similarities between the good and the bad guys than one might like to think.

Molly Weasley had two brothers, who fought Voldemort and paid with their lives. She always thought that all what happened was horrible, but she never thought it would happen to her own family. And now, people everywhere are celebrating, and hardly anyone thinks of all the heroes that died anymore.

Avery was a Death Eater. He watched many people suffer and die, and never cared - until his friends die for Voldemort’s cause. And now, people everywhere are celebrating, and no one thinks of all the brave and good men the other side had lost.

This is padfootsgirl1981 of Hufflepuff and Karaley Dargen of Gryffindor submitting for the Interhouse Co-Op Challenge in the Great Hall.
