Hello, fellow Potter fans!

So, my real name’s Elizabeth (people call me "Starburst Ben" or "Dickies"), I live in sunny South Florida, I’m a girl, and I’ve been a Potter fan since the beginning. Currently I’m being educated at a middle school, or junior high, whatever you call it, and I’m on my last year, soon to go off to High School! Great, isn’t it? Uh, I think not…I find myself to be taking great advantage of the fact I’m not loaded with so much homework now, and I don’t know how I’ll manage once I actually don’t have spare time on my hands to read fanfiction and do all sorts of nonsense . ;)

Nevertheless, I have and will always be a big fan of fanfiction, it is just another escape I have from this dull, ordinary life, apart from the actual Potter books, which, I’ll have you know, I’ve read so many times I’m sure I’ve memorized several chapters of each book by now (which can sadly make me quite bored of reading the books). No, I jest! I read the books as many times as I can, and I honestly adore J.K. Rowling, I never get tired of reading the series. Ah, it brings back wonderful memories of the first times I read the adventures…

I shall briefly enlighten you about myself:

Favorite (I am from Hispanic descent, but I was born in the USA, so I do spell ‘favorite’ without the ‘u’) Hp characters: Remus Lupin, Harry, Sirius Black, Dumbledore, Hagrid, Fred and George, Luna Lovegood, Tonks, Ron (His sense of humor dazzles me), Hedwig (Owls are real people too!), Lord Voldemort, Neville Longbottom, and Severus Snape. (Draco is a coward.)

Favorite Hp Book: Order of the Phoenix, Prisoner of Azkaban, Half-Blood Prince, Sorcerer’s Stone.

Favorite Hp Ships: Remus/Tonks, of course my OTP. Ron/Hermione (I’ve been aware of that relationship ever since the beginning, it was so obvious), Harry/Ginny, only because it’s Canon, I don’t actually read any fanfiction about it nor do I like it very much. Hmm…Elizabeth/Remus (sadly, only in my dreams), Neville/Luna (Too bad it’s not going to happen!). Ootp convinced me about Harry/Luna, but JKR went and squashed that hope.

Hp Ships I hate, detest, loathe, and despise: Remus/Sirius…*shakes fist* I’m dying to rant about it, but I’ll restrain myself. Harry/Hermione (DELUSIONAL!), any Slash ship, Hermione/Draco (All I have to say about that is- Huh?), Remus/Lily, Severus/Lily. (And every other horribly wrong pairing Fandom comes up with these days.)

Favorite Books: Hmm, I’ve got so many! Artemis Fowl, The Chronicles of Narnia, Sherlock Holmes, I used to read dozens of the “Nancy Drew” Mystery books, yes, I’ll admit I loved them. Castle in the Air, and once upon a time I read the “Unicorns of Balinor” series, mhmm, oh yeah. That was back in the day I was still into that kind of stuff. Still, at the time, I loved them. Um…let’s see…*runs to her bookshelf*…Tuck Everlasting, Flowers for Algernon, and many many more. I enjoy reading “Time” magazines, books on the paranormal, books about people, books about Animal Ethics (I’m reading one now, called “In Defense of Animals”, and it’s very interesting, if you’re willing to commit to reading about the truth. I shouldn’t talk about that stuff here, I’ll start ranting about factory farms and I’ll never stop.*deep sigh* Happy thoughts…happy thoughts…).

Favorite Movies: Oh, too many to count! The Princess Bride, Forrest Gump, Potc 1&2, The Truman Show (An AMAZING movie, if you haven’t seen it!), Whale Rider, The Village, King Arthur, Big Fish, Finding Neverland, Spiderman 1-2, Batman Begins, Amadeus, Gone with the Wind, Lotr 1-3, Bruce Almighty, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Edward Scissorhands, CryBaby, The Goonies, The Breakfast Club, The Chronicles of Narnia, National Treasure, Moulin Rouge, The X-Files movie, Titanic (But Leonardo DiCaprio pretty much ruins “Jack” for me), Happy Feet (that movie was cute and funny), lots more...

Favorite Hp Film: Um…Sorcerer’s Stone. I have a big problem with Prisoner of Azkaban. I think that statement speaks for itself. *gives Alfonso Cuaron the evil eye*

Favorite Bands: Franz Ferdinand, The Beatles, Queen, U2, Carlos Santana, Frou Frou, The Shins, Enya, The Postal Service, The Eagles, The Mama's and the Papa's, Jamie Cullum, lots of random stuff, Josh Groban, The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Cream, Coldplay, Devotchka, Death Cab for Cutie, Mozart, Fleetwood Mac, Sade, The Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, Harry and the Potters (Voldemort can’t stop the ROCK), I love Oldies, um, a lot of other stuff I can’t remember now…

Favorite Television Programs: The Office (American remake), The X-Files (Who doesn’t like this show? The Truth is out there, my friends.), Lost (I’m a Lost fan through and through! I’ve always been loyal, even after the writers got stupid and killed Eko), That 70's show, The Simpson’s, Monty Python, Prime Suspect, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, anything on PBS, Malcolm in the Middle, Scrubs occasionally, ER, and that’s pretty much it.

Favorite Foods: Chinese Take-out, Rice, Chocolate, Veggie Pizza.

General Likes: my two adorable mutts, and if you don’t know what a mutt is, learn. My two dogs, people. I’m just taking precautions, you know, “mutt” could mean anything. Books, Music, Food, Harry Potter, Mugglecast (LISTEN TO MUGGLECAST!), Men, Film, Fanfiction, Animals, Nature, Geeky stuff, well, you get the picture.

General Dislikes: ignorance, crazy Hp fans who overanalyze everything (example: Remus/Sirius), Slash, Umbridge, Anti-Werewolf Laws, the government, Cornelius Fudge, Fruitcake (it’s disgusting), and plenty more.

I’m so sorry, I lied. This is far from brief. And I still feel this isn’t complete! A few more things you need to know:
Snape is not evil.
Remus will NOT die in Book 7.
Nor will Harry, Ron, or Hermione.
Sirius is alive.
Dumbledore is DEAD. (As much as I hate to admit it, he is. *weeps*)

That pretty much covers it all. In conclusion, really, I’ve been writing far too much, I love Harry Potter. ;) As of now I’m only a fanfic reader, but maybe someday I’ll sit and collect my thoughts and get over my intense bouts of writer’s block and actually write something! *smile* Anyway, if you want to laugh, look at the Humor fics in my favorite stories, I suggest “The Dark Lord’s Blog”. And for an amazing Remus/Tonks fic that almost brought me to tears, try “Wolf’s Bane”. Cheers!
