I'm a 20 year old engineering student at Georgia Tech. I love reading and especially Harry Potter. I've always really loved Hermione. I realized as I got older I was either a smart Gryffindor or a brave Ravenclaw. That means that I really identify with Hermione and Luna. Pottermore placed me in Gryffindor, so I guess that makes me a Hermione but I like to think I'm more of a Hermione/Ginny combo. I'm really smart and brave (like Hermione) but I'm much more into sports (like Ginny). Hermione is still my favorite character though. I've always been best friends with boys. Who wants to be friends with girls; they cause way too much drama. So in reading Harry Potter as a kid I really understood Hermione; the way she was such good friends with Harry and Ron instead of Lavender and Parvati was really easy for me to relate too. I was in 9th grade when Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince came out and I totally understood the whole Hermione/Ron drama from Hermione's point of view. The draw back to having such good guy friends was that romantic relationships always were really hard for me util I got to college. On MNFF, I really enjoy reading stories that are post-Hogwarts especially stories that do a good job of integrating the cannon characters with original characters. I'm working on a couple different story ideas but so far none have been well developed enough to submit. Being an engineer, I'm much for a math kind of person than a writer and I tend to be very critical of my own work.
