I'm a PPE student at Somerville College, Oxford with a passion for politics and philosophy. I'm an avid reader and occasionally dabble in fanfiction and original fiction as well as poetry now and again. I also take part in the odd amateur dramatic production in the south of England and love a good debate. I play golf, a lot, and I'd love to be a politician some day.
I came across MNFF while looking for something else, and was instantly intrigued by this exciting part of cyberspace.

Summary:
Dumbledore was removed as Headmaster of Hogwarts for a period of time in both 1993 and 1996. We have little idea of where we went or got up to. As he escapes imprisonment by the Ministry in OOTP, he tells Cornelius Fudge, "I have absolutely no intention of being sent to Azkaban. I could break out, of course - but what a waste of time, and frankly, I can think of a whole host of things I would rather be doing."
The Unknown Village explores where Dumbledore went in 1996 and just what he'd rather be doing than wasting his time breaking out of Azkaban as Voldemort closes in on Harry.
