Howdy, fellow Mugglenet-ers!

I am a 32-year-old attorney and college professor living in Virginia. To say that I am a Harry Potter addict is a bit of an understatement. I absolutely love the books (I have read each of them multiple times), and have also become an avid reader of several of the fanfics here on MNFF.

Many of my friends and family find it amusing how alike Hermione and I are. I always have had big, bushy, dirty blonde hair. It wasn't until college that I finally figured out how to make it curl and not frizz! I also have a reputation for being a bit of a studious over-achiever; however, unlike Hermione, I did not enjoy being a know-it-all and simply wanted to be an average student. Nevertheless, we both graduated at the top of our respective classes and went on to become government attorneys!

Aside from reading HP and HP fanfics, I am a bit of a music junkie. As a demonstration of my need for a HP 12-step program, I like finding songs that, in my opinion, musically express something or someone in the Potterverse. For example:

I have also had several of you ask if I am writing anything else. I do have plans for a post-Hogwarts story, but as being a mom and teacher is a bit time-consuming, that story is on hold for a bit. But the ideas are there and on many bits of notebook paper on my desk, so it will appear here someday!
