Summary: Genesis Cavanaugh, a very outspoken and (let’s face it) slightly bonkers seventh year student is about to have her whole world flipped upside down. In the seventeen years she’s been alive, there have been three main things she held to be true. 1. Lily Evans would always just be her too-perky-in-the-mornings roommate that her best mate, James Potter, had a thing for. 2. She would never need anyone in her life who wasn’t already there. 3. Above all else, she believed in a purely platonic relationship between herself and a certain mischievous Marauder. It just might take all year, but she’s got to learn sometime that truth doesn’t always prevail in the ever-changing world of Hogwarts. Hell, even the staircases like to move now and again.
