First, for the sake of the server migration/website update: I am a human being. I love Mugglenet.

I love everything Harry Potter. When I was a kid I hated reading, until I started on The Sorcerer's Stone, and then I was hooked. Since that time I've read the books over one hundred times (no joke) and I still listen to the audio books on repeat during my onerous commute to work.

Now, most of my friends have kids who are old enough to start the series, and watching them fall in love with the characters has been wonderful.

I think Fan Fiction kept most of us going after DH came out and we all thought there was nothing more coming. My first fic here on MNFF was never completed due to having to learn how to adult, and as it happened I stumbled across it during my online search for every scrap of everything I could find before the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them release. It brought back such good memories (although I cringed a bit at the choice of words my 17 year old self used) that I decided to dust it off, polish it up, and resume.

Lily and James Potter forever.

Never Have I Ever by MistressofMagic

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Lily Evans was finally getting used to the absence of her former best friend. James Potter had only hexed the one person for asking her out so far this year. The Ministry of Magic was trying to keep the magical community from panic, but the Dark Lord’s rise to power was continuing unchecked.

This story does not begin on September first, but on December twentieth, of Lily and James’ sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A lot of things change as Lily goes from preferring to date the giant squid, to dating the one and only James Potter.

Falling Like the Rain by MistressofMagic

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Lily and James, the classic clash. James knows he's in love with Lily, but she can barely stand the sight of him. The start of their seventh year promises to be a very interesting one. What will happen when Lily gets jealous, and James suffers an enormous loss?

Author's Note: This is the same Falling Like the Rain that was created in 2007. It was accidentally deleted, and I'm reposting it.
