I have a number of stories that are completed and uploaded to other sites, and several WIPs.
Special thanks for the LURVERLY banner go to FlyToDawn!
I've been sorted into Slytherin house, and have the same username on the forums.
Summary: All was well.
Obviously, Neville thought, someone spoke too soon
Twenty-four years after the fall of Voldemort, a terrifying illness grips the Wizarding world of western Europe, and it's spreading quickly. Professor Neville Longbottom, who has been fighting desperately to find a cure, is out of options. There is only one man who can help him now.
Unfortunately, that man is dead.
First Place Winner of the Gauntlet's sixth run by cmwinters and BlackHairedWeasley (both of Slytherin House).
Summary: Written for the MNFF Mini-Gauntlet challenge by CMWinters of Slytherin House.
The Battle for the Prophecy at the Department of Mysteries by cmwinters
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 3]
Summary: Severus Snape is sent on a challenge by the Dark Lord to retrieve a prophecy from the Department of Mysteries. What follows is a series of challenges.
Written for the Gauntlet Round 4 and submitted by CMWinters of Slytherin House
Many thanks to my guide, FanficWriterNikki, and my substitute guide while Nikki was on vacation, _Crazy_Purple_HP_Freak_. and MithrilQuill for conducting it.
Summary: RATED THIRD YEARS FOR STRONG LANGUAGE
"Come to the right side, and we can hide you more completely than you can possibly imagine."
Explores a life in exile for of some of those who have been hidden.
(VERY slightly A/U, and even then, only if you take all interviews really literally.)
Summary: Submitted for the NEWT-level Defence Against the Dark Arts Winter Term class
Summary: The Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters are locked in battle over a highly important magical artifact known to most as Voldy's Deathpants, in bold letters like that. However, they go about battle in a, er, highly unusual way-- a Quidditch match!
Probably the silliest thing that's ever appeared on this site, featuring highly OOC behaviour.
Deathpants is a team of writers consisting of Mind_Over_Matter, cmwinters, wendelin the wierd, and Schmerg_The_Impaler. Our story was written in Round Robin format. This (and our deranged minds) explains its randomness. Enjoy!
The insanity of the Deathpants has gotten to the mods! This ridiculous story WON the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Award for Best Humour Story!
Summary: Written for MNFF's Gauntlet Round 3 Challenge by CMWinters of Slytherin House, this tells the story of Severus Snape's induction and initiation into the Death Eaters, including the tasks he'd been set by the Dark Lord.
There is strong language, some violence, a little bit of torture, a character death and an offhand reference to a non-existent prostitute.
Summary: Immediately after the Dark Lord is ressurected, Albus Dumbledore assigns Severus Snape to Dragonmirna Preserve in Romania to help combat an outbreak of Dragon Pox amongst the creatures as most of the handlers are inflicted with a rare and serious strain of Doxy Flu.
Except, with Snape, nothing is ever quite that simple, is it?
Rated 3rd-5th years due to some clinical references to sex towards the end.
Summary: One-shot Challenge - The Twins
Summary: This chapter introduces my Muggle OFC and gives her backstory.
Summary: Snape's first act after Voldemort vanishes for the first time.
Summary: Severus Snape helps a classmate with a Defence Against the Dark Arts assignment
Summary: How Harry Potter got his invisibility cloak and who gave it to him
Summary: Originally written for the HP_Remnants challenge community on LiveJournal, given the prompt "and the picture frames are staring down, and the ringing of this empty sound, is deafening and keeping you from sleep", a lyric from the Dashboard Confessionals song "This Brilliant Dance".
Although this is not a song-fic by any means, I did listen to it several times while writing the fic.
After the war, you have to begin picking up the pieces.
Summary: Harry Potter plunges headlong into a Pensieve and discovers the shocking reason exactly why Albus Dumbledore trusted Severus Snape
