Hi everyone, I'm Katie.
A little about myself...I'm eighteen and am a freshman in college. I love to write. It's my life. As you can probably safely assume, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I became unnaturally obsessed with it in the summer of 2004, thanks in part to my brother, who shares my fervent passion for the magical world J.K. Rowling so masterfully created.
As for favorite characters, I simply adore Ginny Weasley, perhaps because I see a lot of myself in her character. Harry, Ron and Hermione are also among my favorites, as are Luna Lovegood and Tonks.
I ship Harry/Ginny & Ron/Hermione - they are my OTP's. On occasion, I enjoy reading James/Lily, Remus/Tonks, George/Luna, Fred/Angelina and Draco/Ginny.
I hope you'll take the time to read my stories and review them! I love feedback, whether it be praise or criticism (so long as it is constructive!). Thanks. :)
Summary: Ron Weasley is on a mission. Involving a ring, candlelit dinner and one Hermione Jane Granger. But what happens when his foolproof plan goes completely wrong?
Summary: It had been so long since she'd felt anything. Days, weeks, months, years...she could never quite remember how much time had passed. It was as though time had run together in her mind, hours turning to minutes and months slipping slowly into days. Or perhaps it was the other way around. She was never sure.
Summary: The Final Battle is over and good has prevailed over evil - but for Hermione Granger, victory has come at a terrible price. (This story consists of two one-shots - one prior to the battle, one after.)
Summary: She sits in the back, unnoticed, unmoving. In her dark, heavy dress robes, she blends in, melts into the crowd that surrounds her. She is just another mourner, another person he's left behind. But she isn't like the rest of them. Not in the slightest. She is there for a reason unfathomable to those gathered underneath the willow tree: she is there to mourn her father.
Summary: The war against Voldemort is raging in full force, leaving the obituary pages of the Daily Prophet littered with familiar names, names of those she loved. Ginny Weasley spends her days sitting at the old, cracked window in the topmost corner of Number 12, Grimmauld Place, remembering times past, days that had been filled with love and warmth instead of loneliness and regret. But this changes as a piece of her past comes back to her, rekindling the fire that had long since been extinguished from her heart.
Summary: It's been one year, six months since she's been gone, gone from the lives of everyone who held her so dear in their hearts. Ron Weasley finds himself falling deeper into memories of her, remembering the girl he's so desperately trying to forget.
Summary: Descend into the mind of Ginny Weasley, exploring the bittersweet memories of her past, the lonely existence of her present and the uncertainty of her future. This story is complete.
