I'm Melissa, a boring-some-of-the-time junior in high school with a love for all things Harry Potter and writing. I have one fanfiction posted on here (One Of The Boys) and am currently working on another as well that I hope to post soon. Aside from Harry Potter, I love John Green (who writes amazing books), Skins UK, and goldfish (both alive and the snack that smiles back.)
If you have a Tumblr and don't think I'm a completely boring twat:
Summary: Giving high school essays a Marauder twist, this fiction is centered around the idea that some seniors in high school are require to write a letter to incoming freshman before they graduate. At Hogwarts, Seventh Years are given an assignment to write such a letter for the new First Years. Sirius decides to actually take an assignment, well seriously...sort of. He decides to look back on his entire Hogwarts years and write down his list of things not to do at Hogwarts.
I've just started reading this, but it's already caught my attention and made my laugh quite a few times. I think this is a very good idea and I can't wait to read the rest!
Summary: Remus Lupin has a secret that not even his best friends Peter, Sirius and James know. He can't let anyone know because this secret is about none other than Lily Evans. (Please review)
This is the most amazing thing i have ever read. IT is toughing and full of truth. You are a wonderful writer.

Probably one of the best fan fics i've ever read. this chapter was really good, cant wait for the next chapter!
Summary: James is going to be stuck with Lily for the entire summer...wait...isn't that supposed to be a good thing? In between all the angst and indecision, will these two EVER get together? Hmmm...maybe with a little help with a birdie named Sirius...
i really like this chapter and the reat of them for that matter. your a great writer cant wait for the next chapter
Summary: *COMPLETED!*What happens when you put a hopelessly "romantic" man-hussy and a girl with a soft spot for bedtime activities (not THOSE activities, silly!) together in a dark bedroom? Well, I don't happen to know either, so I suppose we'll find out together, won't we? Come with me, Tia C. Spencer, on a lovely ride through the countryside... er, lakeside... okay, so we won't actually be riding NEXT to anything, but it will be lovely, I promise you that. How can it not be, with me as your illustrious (and quite possibly mad) companion?
And no, contrary to beliefs very likely impressed upon you by this summary, I'm not a gormless prat.
Well... not entirely.
tear :*( its over. this is by far the best fan fiction i have ever read. I really liked how you told the story + you protrayed the characters very well. arrgh! its over. what will i read now? haha! well great job.
Summary: This is the story of the fateful night that decided Harry's position and fame in the wizarding world. But what REALLY happened that night?
This is a great fan fiction! it made me cry though, but then again, this is a very sad subject. This is pretty much how i pictured them dying too. Great job!
Friendship, Love, and Pranks: The Story of the Marauders by Padfoot is MINE
Rated: Professors [Reviews - 1181]
Summary: Chapter Thirty-Eight in Queue!
They say someday your life will flash before your eyes...
The Marauders. The name alone strikes fear into the hearts of teachers and makes girls swoon. Watch as Sirius, who has always kept his emotions locked up in a box, finally finds the girl that has its key; as James masterminds everything, except how to win over the girl of his dreams; as Remus finds love, but learns it's just as hard to keep it going, and as Peter tries to prove he's just as good as the other four, no matter what he has to do. They're unstoppable, and it's safe to say that once they're gone, Hogwarts will never be the same again.
...let's make ours worth watching.
this chapter was one of my favorites
i think sirius is an amusing drunk
&* the old lady in the window was really funny too
Author's Response: Thanks so much! It took me a while to decide what kind of drunk Sirius was, in the end, the \"sentimental\" one turned out the best.
This is a realy good chapter i liked it alot, i totally would have reviewed the other chapters but i just started reading this fan fic like a week ago and i thought it might be dumb to review chapters that are so far in the beginning...so just wanted to say the whole thing is brilliant and cant wait for the next chapters!
Author's Response: I\'m happy to get a review for any part of the story, no matter how old!
the change in this chapter was great.
Author's Response: Thank you! *stabs old chapter to death* Heh.
i couldnt wait for this chapter &+ it was really good. you're a great write, can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: Glad it was worth the wait, then!
i really like this. its amazing and i love what the Marauders say.
Author's Response: Thanks a lot! I\'m glad you like whatever I make the marauders say! lol !
Summary: Its a quiet sort of day in the Gryffindor common room. The Marauders decide to lighten things up with a little Truth or Dare. But, they think that's boring. They have their own version......
i really like this story and i think that a sequel would be great. hope you write one :]
Author's Response: Okay, thanks for the review, and for answering my question!
Summary: One suggestion. Five measly words was all it took to change Sirius Black's life forever.
Wow! Great job. You did a great job capturing Sirius' humor as well as his fear about the war and commitment.
All in all its amazing, also i really like the prequel!!!
Author's Response: Thanks!
Summary: An unexpected mission has Sirius teasing Remus about his standards--which leads Remus to do something even more unexpected. (Contains sexual innuendo--but with a title like that, what else would you expect?)
I had a smile on my face the whole time i was reading this :)
When Sirius is trying to tell the story but keeps interrupting himself is my favorite part. I loved it!
Author's Response: Excellent! It makes me feel good to know you enjoyed it that much, that you were smiling through the whole thing. I have to admit I was smirking while I wrote it!
Summary: Its the school year after their O.W.Ls and the Marauders are eager to start their N.E.W.Ts. But not all is well. Lord Voldermort and his supporters wreak havoc in the Wizarding World outisde of Hogwarts. It seems there is no place safe, except Hogwarts.
This is the year when the Marauders must turn their attitudes around. This is the year where they realise what is important in life - not pranks and wreaking havoc, but the bonds of friendship and love.
The trouble is, these bonds can be unravelled...
...This is The Turning Point.
I really enjoyed this, especially the ending with James and Lily. I can't want to read the rest. You've done a great job so far (:
Author's Response: Aww thank you! I thought with the ending, I'd do something that wasn't typical of what other people have done. So instead of them arguing, I thought it'd be good to do something where she glimpses what James is really like :) Thanks for taking the time to read, and I hope you follow this story through! I really value peoples feedback :)
