You fall.

Trapped and surrounded you jump, take a journey through your thoughts as you fall into the Abyss.

Hmm... it makes me think of some female (maybe Hermione?) attempting suicide at the ocean (Shell Cottage?), only to be saved by the man she loves (Ron?).

(or is it Ginny and Harry?)

Very poingant, though.

Author's Response: Thank you for your review. Yes, it was based on a woman and a man but she wasn\'t trying to kill herself and she intends to live ... it was just to escape. I left the question of who open so that I could hear what people thought and how they interpreted it so thank you for leaving your thoughts on who it was. Thanks.

Dementor Rising by Emily_the_Poet

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: What started as a way to marvelous immortality and triumphing over his teacher has turned into an experiment gone wrong. Can Christian Hale deal with the consequences of hisactions?

Very interesting story.

I was intrigued by the end; how Ravenclaw was writing to Slytherin about the failed attempt at making a Horcrux (I wonder what he did with this info?) and the creation of a Dementor.

Although, what went wrong when he was creating the Horcrux? He kills the girl, he takes out the part of his soul, he puts it in the metal charm. Did he accidently take out is whole soul or something?

I had a hard time figuring out what was happening in the beginning, but I quickly discovered what was going on and fell into the groove of the story.

All Grown Up by Indigoenigma

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Anthea Wade is assigned the task to defend Lucius Malfoy by her rather doubting colleagues. Determined to prove herself capable and get her client off the hook, she calls one of the most unlikely witnesses to prove Lucius Malfoyís innocence.

That was rather nice... I enjoyed your characterization on all parts. Write on!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing! The story has been feeling a tad neglected, lol. And I\'m pleased that you enjoyed the characterization - I had to rewrite bits to keep everyone (especially Lucius) in character.

One Last Goodbye by Malika Potter

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: *Deathly Hallows Spoilers*

What if Harry had a chance to tell Ginny how he felt before his walk into the forest that occurred in the last chapters of Deathly Hallows? What would he say to her? Oneshot.

(Alternate Universe because this scene didn't actually happen)

Please Read and Review! Lots of reviews make for a happy author!

The sequel to this story is called To See Him Again

Quite wonderful. A thing I would have added to DH to. Very poigantly written.

Hogwarts Musical: Chamber of Secrets by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Anyone heard those rumours about a Harry Potter musical?

It better be just like this.

No, but seriously, it's a spoof of the songs from Disney channel's infamous "High School Musical," telling the tale of JK Rowling's infamous "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." (I was dared; I took the challenge.)

You will never see the Basilisk the same way again.

P.S. You may also want to check out my Beatles and Phantom of the Opera spoofs. Just click on my username and it'll take you to my delightfully chaotic author's page.

Schmergo, you've done it again! I mean, who needs to read COS when there's this? *chuckles* No, siriusly, it was perfect and didn't sound forced at all. I generally don't like humor, but all your stuff just takes the cake....

Author's Response: *Takes the cake and eats it* Sorry. Oh, I\'m so glad you like it! I love rhyming, and I guess it comes pretty naturally to me. (This whole thing took about an hour to write.)

Date: 08/31/07 Title: Chapter 1: Through a Hero's Eyes

Okay, so I didn't realize it was Harry until I reread the author's note, but now I see it. I also had forgotten that it was pre-DH, so I was trying to match it to deaths in DH to no avail.

But now I get it, and it's very touching. Dead!Harry is surrounded by all these people mourning him, but none of them really know him. Then, his "family" comes, and that's all right and dandy, but then he wories that they're just going to completey forget him. And then some random old lady comes.

I really liked it; it conveyed the emotions very well, but I didn't quite get the end. Who is she? Is she just a random old lady that remembers him better than the others?

Author's Response: The old lady is Ginny. That particular stanza is about fifty years after the first two. I was pretty vague about it, putting in only the \'ashes to a flame\' thing as a clue. My bad. :)
Thank you for the review! ~Sam

The Reality of War, The Illusion of Life by puffpastry

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

AU. In 1980, the course of history was altered when Severus Snape heard the full contents of the prophecy, thus Voldemort never met his downfall. How will this turn of events affect the wizarding world and the lives of countless people who might not have survived otherwise?

Disclaimer: I, of course, own nothing. I am merely bending characters and situations created by J.K. Rowling to my will.

Summary: When Ron Weasley is promoted to a rather high rank in the Auror business, his mother congratulates him by informing him that it's high time he found a place of his own.

Ron may be quite good at his job as an Auror, but he now faces the most difficult challenge of all...

Ridiculously short one-shot that I wrote for some challenge about a year ago and never submitted. It's also my first one-shot that's not about Voldemort and the Death Eaters! Gasp!

:) Hilarious! I've always wondered how that story might have went!

But what about Fred's buttock never being the same again?

Author's Response: Teehee, yeah, I wondered how that story went too. :D

And . . . Fred\'s left buttock? :s *hides as she goes back to frantically reread HBP* . . . OH. Oops. Totally forgot about that. *blush* Anywho, thanks for the review!

Alone With My Thoughts by Ginny_Hermione

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Itís been a year. A year since I last saw him. It breaks my heart, the pain of not being with him. But I must be strong. Strong for him, and all those fighting. Fighting for peace.
Peace. I ponder the concept. What will a world in peace be like? It gives me a small feeling of warmth, that maybe there will be peace. Peace from a war that has gripped the world, my world, so hard, and made it suffer so much.

Read to find out who this is, and what they're talking about! It's angsty, but has a happy ending!
Reviewer: Stubbornly_appeared Signed
Date: 09/28/07 Title: Chapter 1: Alone With My Thoughts

Quite interesting, I suppose, but not exactly what I expected. I knew it was goig to be Ginny and Harry, of course, but usually when I read those (and it is from Ginny's POV), it's CAPSLOCK!Angst. This was what I think is referred to as Whangst. Whiny angst.

Yes, I did find it a bit whiny. Incoherently whiny. All the "oh, I'm going to die, oh, he's going to die" did drag on my nerves some.

The end was nice, though. I like how Ginny- or you, as the author- interpreted "Ginny" as the word that meant the war was over.

Author's Response: Ohh, lol. I\'m sorry, I\'ve never been told that, but okay.. Lol, I can see what you mean though, how that could be annoying, but she was very worried, but yeah, I see where your coming from. Hehe, lol, my name\'s Ginny! :p Sorry, I just found that funny how you said \'Ginny- or you, as the author\' cuz my name\'s Ginny and I\'m the author.. Lol, sorry. Thanks for the review!
