Well I'm Jordan...
I really enjoy writing, but I've never really thought I was that good. I'm mainly here to review all my favorite stories, because there are so many amazing authors here at MNFF.
I have a few stories now, and I will mostly write one-shots. This is mainly because I'm horribly uncreative, and I don't think I could ever devise an entire story in my head and then write it out.
I'm a HUUUUUUGE Harry Potter fan (obviously). I absolutely adore H/G and R/HR. My favorite fics are J/L though.
Besides being a HP lover, I'm also really into my catholic faith. So yes, I'm a catholic and religious people who think HP is evil really annoy me, and they give Christians everywhere a bad name.
I love getting feedback on my work; what you liked, what you didn't like, what I can do better. So leave me a review and I'll do my best to respond!
thanks to immortal_evil for the banner =)
Summary: Post Hogwarts: Ron and Harry are sent to America for Auror training. Ron spends his last night in England with Hermione, and after returning two years later, he finds Hermione with a fifteen-month-old baby ...
i read this story a while ago, but i just wanted to tell you that i LOVED it. it's so great!
Summary: Originally written for the SIYE summer challenge. Hermione invites Harry, Ron, and Ginny to her house to attend a Muggle carnival. What happens when four kids who have been forced to live under adult pressures are suddenly allowed to act like kids?
aww, that was really cute!
i loved it =]
Summary: It's funny about wars. They drive people to do things we never would ordinarily--good and bad. Harry and I had only been dating for four months. He loved me--I know that and I knew it then--but if there hadn't been a war, he would have waited. I think he just wanted something to hold onto...for when it was all over.
Ron comes across Ginny's diary, four years after the war has ended.EDIT: 1000 reads!
that was SO sad.
it was lovely =]
Summary: Hope, loyalty, love, despair, and tragedy. Through it all, Lily discovers the truth about the Marauders, the affable troublemakers who hide behind smokescreens but still glitter in shattered light. They aren't the glorious, graceful men they are often perceived as, but stumbling, awkward boys who are still trying to find their way out of darkness.
this was absolutely beautiful. i loved it so much!
Summary: Ronald Weasley struggles with his teaspoon's worth of emotions during Hermione's stay at the Burrow summer after fifth year. With the Twins succumbing the household to spontaneous product trials, and a new Minister of Magic, one would think that Hermione's Bulgarian pen pal would be the least of Ron's problems.
And that would be what one would get for thinking.
Surprises abound (the Good and the Bad) assure the Weasleys and their house guest this will be a summer all but one of them will never forget.
Final chapter is in queue. Wow, that took forever, didn't it?
haha, this story was so cute! i loved it =]
Summary: Hermione has always been in love with Ron, but afraid to admit it. She has been writing letters to keep herself content. What she doesn't know is that Ron has been doing the same.
Oh come on people!!! 100 reads and no reviews!!! The next person to read and not review is going to get hexed to oblivion!!!!
aww, this was so cute! hermiones writing was lovely -- and i love how ron had been doing the exact same thing as her. they were made for each other!
Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione make a trip to Godric's Hollow to visit the Potters' graves. There, Harry speaks to his parents for the first time, and in so doing, discovers that the dead are never truly lost. (One-shot. Bring your kleenex.)
WOW. soo good! it made me want to cry and laugh at the sa me time. this was a wonderful idea - you wrote it beautifully.
Originally for a challenge...
"The door opened."
wow - that was a powerful ending. this story was so beautiful! i love how you never actually said it was lily, james & harry - but we could tell.
it was so lovely, it made me want to cry.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you could tell! That has been confusing before, but I tried to clarify it. Thank you!
Summary: Hermione died in the Horcruxes crusade. One year later, Voldemort was finally destroyed and Ron returned home, exhausted. His room was exactly the same as he left it. But awaiting him on his desk was a small pile of letters with a short note on top.
Mr. Weasley, we found those letters addressed to you in Hermione’s belongings. It was only fair they were returned to you. Signed, Mr. and Mrs. Granger.
oh, this was SO sad =[ poor hermione.. poor ron, for that matter, living without his true love.
i loved it, it was amazing =]
Author's Response: Thanks a lot for taking the time to leave a review! I\'m very glad that you liked it.
Summary: Sense: a word of so many meanings. This is a story about senses. The common sense notion of self preservation that is lost when friends are in need, the senses of the body that can be damaged so easily, and the intuitive senses of the heart that tell you when things have changed. R/Hr focused with a little bit of H/G, not a lot of fluff, with rotating views between the characters on a truly horrific day.
Quicksilver Quills Runner-Up - Best Romance, Canon
i LOVE this story... your description is so great, and your characterization was just perfect.
it was just fantastic! =]
Summary: When baby Harry won't stop crying, Lily tells him a fairy tale. But in the real world, not everyone gets a happy ending.
aww! this story was so sad =[ it was a very cute idea, though!
good job =]
Summary: A short glimpse back into Ginny Weasley's childhood at the Burrow.
aww this story is so cute! i can totally picture ginny that way.
great job! i really enjoyed it =]
Summary: 2009 QSQ Awards Winner for Best Chaptered Canon Romance
Before the chosen one was ever born, his parents had to meet, fall in love, and defy Voldemort three times. Easier said than done. Things were never easy for Harry Potter's parents, but it gets a whole lot harder when Death Eaters kidnap Lily. This is the story of Lily and James, the trials they face, and how James finally wins Lily's heart. (pre-Deathly Hallows)
“I’ll always protect you.”
woww this chapter was great! the memory was amazing - its good to know that Lily most definitely COULD fight for herself. and i loved the part when lily couldn't stop laughing, and Sirius was just so confused. :D
good job! update soon =]
Author's Response: The part with Lily laughing and poor bewildered Sirius was my favorite too. I\'m glad you liked the memory! Thanks for the review.
*sigh* totally amazing, as usual. I don't think I will ever get tired of reading your stories. the memory in this chapter was really good - I can't believe Voldemort actually saved Lily! I wonder what that's all about... and Mr. Masselli annoyed the living daylights out of me - I was glad that James got one good punch in =)
good job, update soon!
oh, and congrats on your quicksilver runner-up! I was so glad when I saw that When Darkness Did Surround Us got 2nd place!
Author's Response: Thank you, both for the review and the congratulations! As for James getting a punch in on Mr. Masselli, I really liked writing that ;)
oh man - ted's not a squib and he's really a death eater who stabbed lily?
well goodness. i knew something was up with him, but this was just a BIG something. and such a cliffhanger!
i hope you get the story updated as soon as possible - great job!
Author's Response: It is a bit of a shocker, isn't it? I've been planning this for such a long time, and I'm so happy I've finally got it posted! The next chapter will hopefully come quickly. Thanks for the review; I'm glad you liked it.
I love the James/Lily interaction. You simply write them so well - just how I imagined them being.
I'm so excited to find out what comes next - even if I do have to wait two months for another update! Keep up the good work =)
Author's Response: I know -- finally! I'm glad you liked this chapter and think I write James and Lily well :) Thanks for the review, and hopefully it won't take nearly as long to get the next chapter posted!
gah! i love reading this story.
that dream was so sad, it made me want to cry =[ and i'm horrible at predicting stuff, so i have no idea what was up with the little girl. i guess i'll just have to be surprised =]
Author's Response: Good, I love you reviewing this story! I\'m glad you liked the dream, and honestly, I\'m bad at predicting stuff in other people\'s stories too! Thanks for the review.
that was nice! i really liked seeing james rescue lily from her perspective. i also like how you incorporated peter into the story. i thought that was a rather nice touch. even though it makes me sad to think how he turned out so horribly wrong, i like when writers show how he wasn't always so bad.
wonderful job! keep up the good work =)
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you liked it! I actually enjoyed writing Peter, even if in general I don\'t even like to think about his character.
wow. okay I just want to say that I am in LOVE with your writing. its superb, i really love this story, and When Darkness Did Surround us..
its just fantastic, keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks very much, I\'m glad you like both this and When Darkness Did Surround Us!
wow! another wonderful chapter, as usual. i really liked how you tied in the memory of roy back into the story. and the scene in the graveyard was heartbreaking.
and TED! didn't see that one coming - at all.
so excited to see what happens next - keep up the awesome work!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm trying to make sure it's clear exactly what happened to Lily, so I hoped her talking about Roy would be somewhat of a clarification. I'm glad you enjoyed it! And yes, I don't think anyone saw the Ted surprise coming! ;)
