I am a Dramione addict. Enough said. I do have a life, too, but that's a rather trivial detail. :)

The Unseemly Proposal by sparx

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • 5428 Reviews Past Featured Story
Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)

It bugs me when people merely review just begging for an update, but well....could you PLEASE update? I read this story, like, four months ago (I think it was the first HP fan fiction I had ever read). The story is genius and I know I'm not alone when I say I would be so very ecstatically if you were to update.

Wow, this story is so good, safely one of my favorite fanfictions EVER. I just found it a couple of days ago and spent quite a bit of time reading all that you've written so far. I love the way you portray Draco. I just wish Harry wasn't so stupid with the stupid-revenge-thing (though it does seem accurate, I've run into situations like that IRL).

An Aversion to Change by Misdemeanor1331

Rated: Professors • 1202 Reviews
Summary: After his failed attempt on Dumbledore's life, Draco seeks refuge at the Order of the Phoenix. Sent back to Hogwarts with suspicious title of Head Boy, he is forced to share a dormitory with none other than Hermione Granger. But with war looming on the horizon and another danger even closer to home, their seventh year of Hogwarts is anything but ordinary.

A story of compelling intrigue, hidden motives, dangerous secrets, and obvious passion. Animagi, Quidditch, the Order of the Phoenix. Masquerades and riddles. Hate and love. Pleasure and pain. A blend of contradictions that, for two people, makes a truly unforgettable final year. Slow moving D/Hr with plenty of plot.

This fanfiction is terribly addictive...I love how dark (and rather believable) it is. You capture Draco and his POV amazingly. Soo looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Ah, I\'m glad you followed up that \"terribly\" with an \"addictive\"...I will admit, my breath caught in my chest for a moment there! I\'m so glad you find Draco in character. He\'s hard to write and it heartens me to hear that I\'m doing a good job of it. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!

This is probably one of my favorite fan fictions. I read A LOT of Dramione's and this is one of the few that has been consistently believable. I just love the way you write Draco! Anyway, I know that wasn't a specific review at all, I just wanted to say that I love this story and am impatiently looking forward to your next update!

Author's Response: :D I don\'t know if you realize how flattering it is to hear that this is one of your favorites...Really, it boggles my mind every time I hear it. Thank you so so much for reading!

Imperius Lust by L Morgan

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 78 Reviews
Summary: What happens when the Imperius Curse is abused?

Draco Malfoy is having second (and third) thoughts about being a Death Eater. His father tries to help him along, however improper use of the Imperius Curse can turn out very wrong. Malfoy’s emotions, desires and orders become very mixed and he flees to the only place he can be safe. He takes refuge in the most unlikely person and the outcome is scandalously attractive.

D/HR, with very slight R/HR. PRE DH.

I really like this fanfiction. It's believable for the characters (some make Draco all nice all of a sudden). You're a great writer and I look forward to the next installment!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I agree, and have tried to keep everyone in character as much as possible, especially in Draco\'s case. Happy reading :) Ruby

Hopelessly Devoted by saveginny417

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • 23 Reviews
Summary: There are some people that get everything they want from life. There are some people who don't. This is the story of two of those unfortunate people who didn't.

Date: 01/24/08 Title: Chapter 1: One-Shot

Wow. It was certainly very well written, but even though it was AU, Ron just seemed so out of character. I mean, not just with the kissing/killing, but the way he spoke (in the books Ron was never really one for polished dialogue). All the same, it was quite an interesting read!

Author's Response: Well, I\'m glad you found it interesting. I knew going in I wouldn\'t get Ron head on, because, well, he would never ever in a million years actually join the death eaters. I don\'t actually know what I was doing, writing this. That\'s my sole defense. But thank you for the review!

In Her Hands She Held The Whole World by Sirenny

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • 9 Reviews
Summary: The thing I had never before considered about Muggles is that there are, and always have been, so very many of them. It seems ironic that I would have missed such a discernable fact. Had I ever stumbled across it written in a book I would have merely shaken my head at the thought that someone felt the need to write down something so elementary. Even then, however, I would not have considered the implications of what it could mean. The facts never changed though, only my perception of them; that there are thousands, probably hundreds of thousands, for each individual witch or wizard.

Wow, that was a really good story. It was very dark, and very interesting. Just one thing I noticed, though: you slipped into third person in your paragraph about Harry. Overall, really nice job.

That's really good, sad but not in a depressing way. Very well written.

I'll Never Let Go by bubblegumpinkhair

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • 49 Reviews
Summary: Hermione decides that she's done with Ron and his constant want to pick fights with her. Not thinking that things could get any worse, Ron tells her how he really feels. Cute little One Shot form Ron's POV. Definitely a little fluffy.

Excerpt:

Her eyes widened and she opened her mouth to say something. When nothing came out, I removed my hand from her chin, and I felt my face flushing scarlet again.

How could I have been so stupid?

“I understand,” I heard myself saying, but deep down I knew I never would.

That was a sweet story, a nice change from all the angsty stuff I've been enjoying as of late...good job for your first fic!

Author's Response: Thanks that means a ton!!! And don\'t get too depressed from reading a lot of angsties!!

Harry and Ron: An Interlude by La_Rubinita

Rated: 6th-7th Years • 4 Reviews
Summary: Companion one-shot to The Beast Within from Harry and Ron's point of view. Occurs immediately after the boys leave Grimmauld Place for the Burrow in chapter eleven and brings them up to speed with the rest of the story.

Date: 05/26/08 Title: Chapter 1: Interlude

This was a good companion chapter (is that what I should call it?). I just really like how you portray Ron and Harry; it is very believable, unlike the fics where they're just horrible monsters, or the ones where Ron and Harry are rational and don't get angry. The Beast Within is probably one of my favorite Dramione's.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I wanted to give Harry and Ron some depth and to show that they\'re not the bad guys - just not making very good decisions, either. I\'m flattered you like TBW so much :)

Driving Lessons by coolh5000
