Hi there! I'm a 25 year old nursing student and wife. I took my little sister to see HPSS in the theater when it came out and I've been hooked ever since. I especially love the books on cd.

I love reading all sorts of fanfiction and the more I read, the more I love it. If you're an author, I also beta and am a free-lance book editor in my real life. I'm a big grammar nerd and have an eye for typos. What can I say- it's a gift! A nerdy gift, but a gift nonetheless!

Maybe one day I'll get a so-called "plot bunny" in my yard and be inspired to write, but for now I'm just enjoying reading everyone else's stuff.

I've put some really great stuff I've found in my "favorites" sections, so check 'em out! And if you know of something great, I'd love for you to send it along to me!

Life Happens by ColorOfAngels

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Life Is What Happens When You Are Busy Making Plans.

This is the story of Harry J. Potter and Ginny M. Weasley, their lives, friendships, realtionships and everything in between. Life doesn't always take the road they expect or want, but they soon learn that no matter what they do or how hard they try, the world stops for no man and that simply put, Life Happens.

Primarily Harry/Ginny but with Ron/Hermione background. Picks up after the end of book 5 and continues into Post-Hogwarts.

I just read your story-to-date and I think that your writing really improved as you went along! You've got some great ideas too! I'd love to see JKR put your Weasly nose/antlers in the twins' shop! Can't wait for the updates!
And I hope that your sliced-off fingers finally healed!

Consequentially Yours by Nyruserra

Rated: Professors • Past Featured Story
Summary: It's a rescue, really. At least, that's what Fred and George Weasley manage to convince him of. After all, Hermione is sure to be a target for revenge seeking Purebloods - what could any right-minded Wizard do but step in to help?

But with the shadow of Voldemort still hanging over a frightened community, Oliver is about to find out that the consequences of doing the right thing can get very out of hand!

An Oliver Wood/Hermione Granger Romance

I just love how you write Oliver- just how I imagine him and quite the gentleman. I have lost way too much sleep over the past several days reading your story and I am just enthralled with it. It keeps getting better and better and I can't wait to see where it leads. I particularly enjoy your ability to paint such perfect scenes and no rush anything; it comes across so realistically.
I hope to see your updates soon! This has quickly become one of my favorite stories of all time on MNFF. Cheers!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really wanted to write a story where they came together naturally, without it seeming overly contrived. I\'m really, really glad people are enjoying the slow pace, and aren\'t upset or impatient with me :-)

Truth Be Told by CraftySlytherin

Catching Fireflies by Nyruserra

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: She supposed that she had never really thought about it much before that day – the day she saw him again, standing in the rain outside her door dripping and gorgeous, like a vision out of a hazy past.

What a sweet, sweet story! I love how you write Oliver. He is my favorite character to read about and I wish there were more authors doing him justice like you. And even though in my mind Hermione belongs with Ron, you write it all so believable that it doesn't bother me at all; they seem to fit together nicely in your world. Keep up the writing. I'm looking forward to more stories from you!

A Tale of Two Matchmakers by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!

Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.

* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *

(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)

What a great story! Looking for all of your references to other works became a challenge as I read-- and I'm sure that I missed most! I'm just so sad that this story is over....but now I'm on to read the rest! Great job- keep writing!

Author's Response: Thank you! The romance was more important than the references, ^_^, so I\'m glad you enjoyed them and any you didn\'t get doesn\'t matter. Only true love...or twoo wuv, heh, matters!

The Things I Do For L.O.V.E by Pussycat123

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Hi, I’m Lily Evans. You know, there are a lot of fics about me out there. I’m flattered that you spend time thinking about me, but sometimes sickened. How could these fics not mention my bonkers beautiful cat, Missy? And what about my evil and malicious extremely helpful conscience? Or the fact that I make a fool out of myself at every opportunity am unique?

Well, this fic has all of these things. It also has L.O.V.E (I’m the ‘L’), the elite group of cliquey lovely girls that I am part of. And our rival, the sarcastic cynic also unique Iola Potter (cousin and partner in crime to James). But does it have an actual plot? Of course not Absolutely! And it starts with me getting a detention with Iola (through no fault of my own, of course). And we kind of ... almost ... well, we get on alright. A friendship sparks, shall we say. I have no idea how it happens It is meant to be. But it’s going to take some fighting for if we want to keep it. It would be a lot easier to just stick to what we know, really. We were perfectly happy hating each other. But ... well. I guess you’ll have to find out!

Read this or I’ll curse you Read this and I’ll love you!

Great story! I heard about it through a recommendation in the Ravenclaw House from Angela_Prongs. I'll have to thank her!

I really enjoyed the banter between your OCs and the canon characters. Very true to life (sad sometimes!). I particularly enjoyed Lily's sense of humor and sarcasm. I found myself laughing out loud at many lines in your story.

I also really liked how you tied in events from the books to all the events in your story. Even though there were so many new characters, which worried me at first, you handled it so well and it all tied in so nicely.

I agree with you that Lily seems a bit OOC, but since we really didn't know tons about her, it was still believable.

Great job! I'm off to start reading your other stories! *'claw huggles*

Author's Response: Aw, thanks! Yay for Angela/Ravenclaw! I\'m really glad you enjoyed the fic, because I really enjoyed writing it. Have fun with the other fics! Thanks for the great review! *\'claw hugs all round*

Battling Jitters by EmilyJayne

Rated: Professors •
Summary: They have battled evil, fate, destiny, time, even each other. Now Ron and Hermione take an emotional ride to battle something equally as treacherous….nerves.

The third installment in my “Battles” series continues here in a fluffier-than-is-normal-for-this-author tale depicting the Jitters Ron and Hermione experience when popping the big question and the events leading up to it.

If you have just found this story, be sure to read “Internal Battles” and “Battling Boundaries”. This story stands alone, but the other two will help complete the back-story. You should enjoy them too! Let me know what you think!

Disclaimer: JKR started it…I am just playing with the fabulous characters!

I have to tell you that I have read all three of your stories in the past 24 hours! I absolutely love your writing and have really enjoyed your take on things....it almost makes me dread the actual 7th book coming out in a few weeks because it might crush our happy ending ideas!
I can't wait for your next chapter to be approved!
Have you thought about writing the same story from Harry/Ginny POV? I would love to read it!
Keep up the great work. I'm hooked!

Author's Response: What a glowing review! Thanks for the kind words and thoughts. I have always contemplating putting my life and stores down...but I need to exaggerate a plot to make it worthy. I am considering it heavily now though. Thanks again.

Love, love, love your stories! Great ideas and take on things. Can't wait for the updates! So glad I stumbled across your work!

I am totally addicted to your stories! So far my favorite is "Battling Boundaries" although I love all 3 in this series! I am so excited to read the next chapter and there it sits, taunting me with it's "access denied!" Grrr... I hope it comes through soon!

Author's Response: I can\'t pick a favoirte. BB honestly presented the most issues with the action and moevment aspect of things. the first one was easy because it played out so completley in my head. BB seemed to be overdone at first so I had to work hard to make it all tie up nicely. Jitters is the fluffiest of the lot, but really digs into Hermione\'s emotions. I am pleased that you like it. I have the fourth plotted out...but I am not going to write till DH is out and read. Keep reading though!

200,000 Reasons You'll Find My Client 'Not Guilty' by FenrirG

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: When Lucius Malfoy asked me to be his attorney, I had no choice but to accept. Actually… I suppose I did have a choice, seeing that it wouldn’t exactly have put Lucius in the best light if he’d threatened me while on trial, or anything like that. But the choice I had, frankly, came down to money. In fact, I find that a lot of choices come down to money in today’s legal system—not the least of which was the choice to let Mr Malfoy walk free.

A deceptively light, satirical story about a young lawyer who makes his big break to success during the trial of Lucius Malfoy--and learns an important lesson in the process.

I am FenrirG of Ravenclaw, writing for the August One-Shot Challenge: The Trial of Lucius Malfoy.

"200,000 reasons why you'll find my client not guilty" has to be the best closing argument I've ever heard. And Malfoy pretty much representing himself? Classic. Very creative and original ideas. I really liked your take on this one! Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you very much for your sweet review! It truly made my day.

Of Words and Witnesses by Red and Gold

Great piece. I really liked that you used the template of the previous trials that we've seen in the books. It made it seem much more canon. Harry testifying? I must admit, I was surprised by that one, but it proved a powerful point about Harry's character once again and fit in nicely. I found it believable and well written. Good job!

Author's Response: Thank you for your lovely and thoughtful review, kutekat! I appreciate that you thought it was believable and well-written - you have made my day!! *hugs* ~Andrea

Purple Ink by Nymphea

Great story. Very touching and heart-wrenching. I can't even begin to imagine....
Thank you for writing it. I really liked the line from your A/N that you based it from. Poignant.

Author's Response: I\'m so glad you liked it. I was kind of tired of reading fics where they suddenly fall in love and they\'re kissing and getting married and then dying. So this one has subtle romance.

Author's Response: Hi Kat!\r\nThanks so much for coming by to read this story! I\'m glad you liked it. I\'m slowly starting to get back into the swing of things HP, it\'s nice to be back around a bit. Thanks for leaving such a nice review - hope you are well - take care and thanks again! ~Gina :)
