Summary: This is an alternate version of Book Seven. Harry reluctantly returns to Hogwarts to train with a new DADA teacher, one appointed in specifically for Harry in Dumbledore's will. As the rest of the Wizard World reacts to Dumbledore's defeat, Harry develops the skills he needs to fulfill the Prophecy--including mastery of the Kedavra curse.
Mysteries are explored along the way, particularly the "missing 24 hours" from 1981--the span of time between Hagrid taking Baby Harry from the ruins of Godric's Hollow on Halloween Night, and his arrival to hand off Baby Harry on Privet Drive the following night. The Veil Room in the Department of Mysteries is also revisited. A traitor is uncovered, and Dumbledore's wisdom comes into question. And even when all goes as planned, things are not all they seem.
Aw, just like Sirius to throw rotten pairs through a veil at the two people alive that he loves most! And I am Sirius, I mean serious, when I say that.
Author's Response: Exactly. Always the rascal, that Black.
OK first, Ew. Second, where is Hedwig in all of this business of Fawkes? I would think that she feels left out and abandoned. But where did she go?
Author's Response: I think she naturally would feel a bit displaced and jealous but she\'s around. Eating mice and things, no doubt.
Yes! You rock Harry!
"And no son of Sirius Black would live to see another dawn if he were poisoned with the Dark magic of Voldemort." Does that mean that he was going to kill him? That was sort of what it sounded like.
I want to know who this Ministry Official is. How could all of this happened? This is a really big mystery. Why doesn't Harry tell Sirius about the prophocy, either?
Author's Response: That\'s exactly what Sirius meant to do. He was a tough cookie. And I think we all want to know who the Ministry traitor is, but the mystery has yet to be solved...
The mirror just has to be somewhere, with very strong emphasis on 'has'! Whoa, no one knew that Kreacher was dead, kind of ironic that Harry didn't know his own servant had died. I still don't know where Hedwig is either! Did she fly away, abandon Harry or find a new master or something?
Author's Response: She\'s just sorta looking--I kinda forgot about her, poor owl.
At least I know where Hedwig is now. Arthur Weasley, Mininster for Magic! Never thought I'd see the day!
Author's Response: That\'s what he gets for showing up late to the meeting...
At least Harry got to see what happened truley and fully. Now that Sirius is asleep, they are one step closer to finding his magic again!
Author's Response: Well, not fully--he got tossed out before he saw the end of the story.
"Feeling both bold and foolish, Harry quickly put one hand on her chin and kissed the corner of her mouth. "Good night, Tura," he whispered, then launched back to the castle before she could say a word." - Maybe it's just me but is Harry falling for her? Eww. Isn't she old, and Voldemort kissed her, eww. I guess he is just acting like she is his grandmother or something but that one time when he wanted to kiss her, that was weird too. I don't know, I hope I'm wrong about all of that. Great stroy otherwise.
Author's Response: tura may seem old, but she\'s only 27...
Whoa, this is almost too confusing! Ok, now I need to type this out so I get what is going on. James was put into Lily's grave with Lily and Voldemort was put into James' grave but Voldemort is alive right now and this has been this way for 16 years?!? Ok, I think I should read the rest of the story now but interesting plot twist none the less!
Author's Response: Well...the Original Voldy was killed that night in Godric\'s Hollow, but there\'s never been any talk of his body...so it must have been hidden somewhere. Voldy became a disembodied spirit thanks to the Horcruxes, but the new body he inhabits now was constructed fresh from that potion at the end of GoF.
YES~! HE FOUND IT! That was one spooky prophosy. Was it about Lily coming back to life for Harry? I guess I have to keep reading! This is a really cool mystery story. The only thing that would have made it better would have been something between Ron and Hermione.
Author's Response: Not the best guess on the prophecy, but don\'t feel bad--no one\'s gotten it yet.
Wait, I'm confused. Did she leave Harry in the middle of Alaska? Are Harry and her going to spend the whole break with no one but each other? Over Christmas? Maybe I should read this chapter again... I'll do that.
Author's Response: Oh, she didn\'t leave him there--I just didn\'t go into the details of them traveling back to London.
Sirius deflated back into a slump. "Oh," he mumbled. "I see. You fancy her."
Harry folded his arms. "What if I do?"

Ok, for some reason, I thought Ondossi was a really old witch, like Moody or something. I don't think I like this 'thing' between Harry and her either. I find it too cliche that the only two Legilimagi in the world would fall in love. I would rather Harry be with Ginny or Hermione or even Tonks but Ondossi? I don't like it, but I guess I will get over that if you're the writer. *shrugs*
Author's Response: It might be cliche, but I saw it like this: Legilimency is really an intimate thing, getting inside one another\'s heads, and they spent a lot of time doing that together. Plus Ondossi is this oddball outcast character which I think ultimately Harry can relate to. She\'s 27, 10 years older than Harry; she seems older because she spent so much time in other people\'s heads. And finally, things aren\'t going as smoothly as they look, which you\'ll see in a short time...
Ahhh! No way! Yay! I have tears of joy in my eyes! I love you!
Author's Response: LOL! I thought Sirius deserved a 2nd appearance.
I cried through the whole chapter and everytime I read Sirius' name I burst into tears again. I'm so sappy but I just love Sirius! This is the most awesome thing that can possibly happen! I wish JKR would bring Sirius back. :(
Author's Response: It was a roller coaster to write that chapter too--I was just sick when Siri died in OOTP. More so than Dumbles, because he was so young and already had so much of his life stolen away in Azkaban. Glad you\'re enjoying it!
I was starting to get really annoyed with this chapter. For one, thoughtout the whole story, I thought Ondossi was a little old lady. Ron and Hermione were supposed to get together, Harry and Ginny, Luna and Neville, what is happening in the love portion of this story? I guess the part about Harry and Ondossi is shattered now. Ewww, Voldemort kissed his daughter. Ewww.
Author's Response: Bwuh? Well, I was never an R/H shipper--Ron\'s not smart enough for Herms. I love Ron/Luna though. H/G never worked for me either--she hero worshipped him for too long, and he\'s not the kind of guy who can really handle a big family IMHO. Ewwwww, isn\'t it? Voldy\'s not a nice guy.

Summary: Chapter Thirty-Eight in Queue!
They say someday your life will flash before your eyes...
The Marauders. The name alone strikes fear into the hearts of teachers and makes girls swoon. Watch as Sirius, who has always kept his emotions locked up in a box, finally finds the girl that has its key; as James masterminds everything, except how to win over the girl of his dreams; as Remus finds love, but learns it's just as hard to keep it going, and as Peter tries to prove he's just as good as the other four, no matter what he has to do. They're unstoppable, and it's safe to say that once they're gone, Hogwarts will never be the same again.
...let's make ours worth watching.
I want to know what thier costumes are now! I like the cliff-hanging suspence, but only because the next chapter is already up! Great job!
Author's Response: I like it, too. Mostly because it drives people crazy...
I love the mayonaise in the dungeons! Sirius and Adriyana are so cute!
Author's Response: Aren\'t the, though? Thanks!
Oh, stupid third date rule! Just kiss the girl already!
Author's Response: LOL. It would make things easier....Sirius doesn\'t know about the third date rule, though...
Ouch, that hurts, Sirius. He should have listened to James' wise words, even if the language is not so wise. I still want to see a prank and hear the story of Agie's eyes.
Author's Response: He definitely should have! There\'s some pranks in chapter 23, and I\'ll try to find a place to fit the eye thing now that I know someone\'s looking for it. It\'ll be hard to fit it in so it flows with the story, but I will definitely try!
Yay! Sirius and Adriyana are my favorite! It's about time Lily and James get together, though...
Author's Response: Yeah, they won\'t get together until 7th year, but we all know it\'ll happen!
Author's Response: And I\'m glad you like Sirius and Adriyana! Thank you!
