No Cure for Love. by Magical Maeve
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 14]
Summary:
Severus Snape returns to Spinner's End. DH Spoilers.
I liked this very much. At times Severus did not sound as i thought he should but that could have been because he was talking to Lily.
I with little imagination need stories like this to finish out the book. Jo left many strings untied and many questions unanswered as far as i am concerned.
Thank you for this closeing to Severus.

A couple of small spelling errors, Rewording instead of rewarding.
Keep writing, You are dong a great job
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I\'m really glad you enjoyed the story. And yes, I really need to fix rewording...
Very nice story. I am glad that you said in an earlier review that you liked doing the lesser know characters from the book because i feel that there are a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up. You and many like you will have the opportunity to help those of us with no imagination to put closure to many of the folks that we love from the series.
I look forward to many more very good stories like this one to help fill in japs that Jo left behind.
Thank you for writing this.
Author's Response: *Smiles*
Thanks so much for you lovely review. It really means a lot. And I\'m glad you enjoyed the story.

Across the Line by Skipper424
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 20]
Summary: Scorpius is much different than his Malfoy name would suggest. He’s a very friendly and genuine young wizard who, against the odds, has become close friends with Albus Potter. He is bright as a student and has an amazing talent for Potions, drawing him comparisons to a former Hogwarts Headmaster named Snape. His quick smile is charming and he has a sense of adventure and mischief to match any Potter. And, unbeknownst to Albus, he’s fallen for the youngest Potter, Lily.
It all sounds like countless other school-age romance scenarios taking place at both magical and Muggle schools worldwide, none of which end in tragedy. What makes this one different? There is a line existing between safety and danger. Not all people posses the ability to recognize it, or foresee possible consequences of their actions when they cross it. Even in the absence of malicious intent, awful things can happen when one strays across this line into an uncharted and treacherous wilderness of ignorance.
This is the first place winner of the September One-Shot Challenge. Very special thanks to joybelle423 for her wonderful beta reading. I cannot thank her enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you ...
Warning: This story contains implied non-consensual sex. There is nothing graphic and the reader does not witness the act, but learns enough about it to possibly be disturbed if sensitive to such things. Please proceed with this warning firmly in mind.
Curriculum Vitae by Hermione_Rocks
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 17]
Summary: Ever since the war ended, Theodore Nott has found little solace in anything, save for his Firewhiskey purchases. Due to happenings and circumstances, he runs into the most unlikely people and places, ones that may just be able to help him as he trundles along through life.
This is a story of pain, loss, regret, bitterness. This is a story of joy, laughter, forgiveness, hope. It's a story of second glances, second considerations, second chances. And first chances too. Curriculum Vitae is Latin for: The course of one’s life.
This story was the overall winner of the '07/'08 Winter Tales Challenge. It also took the 2009 QSQ award for Best Post-Hogwarts Chaptered story. I am as stunned as I am grateful. Thank you.
I really like this story. Good job so far.
Author's Response: Thank you! I hope you continue to enjoy the story . . . even though I can see from your next review that you did. :P
I like the person Cho has grown into in your story. This is very good and I stayed up later than i usually do to finish it. That is a good sign.
Wonderful story. Keep writing you are good at it.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! I was apprehensive about bringing Cho into this story, but she demanded to have her part be known. :)
As It Is by Pendraegona
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 10]
Summary: Bridges fell, Muggles were murdered, a wave of despair swept over Britain...and two dentists moved to Australia.
Wendell and Monica Wilkins had no children, but that was fine with them--all they had ever wanted, after all, they had found in the quiet town of Charters Towers.
Or rather, the daughter they didn't know they had loved them enough to let them go.
I am Pendraegona, and this is my submission to the Worlds Within a World challenge.
Very good story. I can not write but i can read and i liked what i read. The teeth thing should have told me the story but it went right over my head. Thank you for the 'story note' or i would have been confused.
Thank you for writing this.
Author's Response: Cool, then I'm glad I put in the end note. Sorry for any confusion, and thanks for the review!
A Lesson In Public Speaking by star_sailor
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 1]
Summary: There are far too many things on Professor Septima Vector's mind. Most of them are numbers. But there are also worries: worries about the recent events after last year, when the Chamber of Secrets was opened, worries of imminent danger around any given corner, putting Professor Vector's nerves on end, and of course, worries of embarrassing herself.
This is star_sailor of Ravenclaw's entry for The Summer Challenge: Educational Decree.
I liked this one. Reading about folks that did not have a lot of exposure in the books is always fun. Thank you for writing this. I feel that it was very well done.
All Comes Around Again by Leahr
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 3]
Summary: Darkness lurks in the future of Hogwarts as an evil wizard, bearing a name and a title he has given himself, terrifies witches and wizards eveywhere and threatens the security of the entire wizarding world.
One night in late spring, a young boy, only a first-year, sits before his headmaster's desk. The walls are covered in portraits of sleeping former headmasters, and mysterious, delicate devices cover the surfaces around the office. But the headmaster's eyes are green, and the boy is not who you think.
I liked the story. Not terribly surprised by the ending but enjoyable to read.

Stars and Clouds by Sesah
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 2]
Summary: A one-shot fic I wrote about my favorite character in the series. Join Fawkes one night as he flies through the heavens.
I want to say say thanks to my Mom, for reading this and loving it. Also for pointing out a couple of mistakes I had made.

Scenes from Shell Cottage by WeasleyMom
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 126]
Summary: This fic is a series of missing moments from the time H/R&H were at Shell Cottage, beginning immediately after they Disapparated from Malfoy Manor. JKR shows us what was going on with Harry, but this is my version of what could have happened with Ron and Hermione after one of the most emotional/disturbing events in the entire series.
UPDATED June 2010
When I first wrote this fic, I didn't know what a beta reader was, and frankly, it showed. Thanks so much to Natalie for helping me polish this up and make it more readable. Thanks also to both Julia and Carole, whose helpful comments in the review section allowed me to make some much-needed corrections during the rewrite.
I would love to know what you think ~ reviews are very much appreciated!
This was nominated in the 2010 Quicksilver Quill Awards for Best Canon Romance.
I have read many stories here. Some good some bad. This is about the best i have ever read. Thank you very much Weasleymom for a very touching story.
Author's Response: Wow, what a amazing thing for you to say. This was the first thing I ever wrote for HP, and it's kinda my baby at this point. :) So glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the kind words.
