Summary: This story has been posted on several sites dedicated to the pairing of Hermione and Severus Snape. She is 22 in this story, and there was no relationship between the two while she was a student. If this pairing bothers you, please don't read.
Thanks for the fantastic story - I love Osiris. Laughed out loud at him a couple of times.
Author's Response: Thanks! I loved creating him. I\'m glad you enjoyed the story and thank you for taking the time to read it.
Summary: This is my take on the Marriage challenge, at WIKTT. This takes place on Hermione and Severus' wedding night. This is a one shot, but part of a series of three.
Love that bit when they're describing each other.
Author's Response: Thanks. I was trying to describe how I perceive they would be several years down the road, with their current personalities.
Summary: "You stand on your toes and kiss him softly - a final goodbye for the man who taught you more than just how to make a proper potion." HG/SS, First in the 'Final Goodbye' Trilogy, Challenge Response. COMPLETE
Oooh, now I have to read the others straight away. Love your style.
Summary: "She'll say something along the lines of an apology for leaving, or a soppy declaration of love, or some other such rubbish that you’re not sure you can bear to hear, but almost need to." Second in the 'Final Goodbye' Trilogy, HGSS, COMPLETE
Ahhh, the angst. Love the shampoo reference. Your writing is really elegant - not one jarring word.
Summary: "You need to knock, and you need to turn and run. You need a million things, but most of all, you need him." Last in the 'Final Goodbye' Trilogy, HGSS, Post Hogwarts, COMPLETE
Gorgeous, gorgeous, thank you.
Summary: Harry writes a love note to one person...but someone else recieves it and gets the wrong idea. From here, confusion and chaos come about. Who is really sending the notes? Who really likes who? What is going on?!
I'm really enjoying this... it's a clever idea.
It's 12.26 am and everyone else is in bed and I'm sitting here sniggering at your funny clever story.
Summary: HBP MISSING MOMENT. What happened after Harry and Ginny left the common room after their very public first kiss? Here's my idea of their walk around the lake.
I hope this is exactly how it happened. Just perfect.
Summary: Damaged by the war, Harry flees everything that used to be familiar to him and instead roams the night, haunted by unsolvable questions -- what truly killed Voldemort? And what lurks in the Forbidden Forest, where the trees seem alive?
As his investigation progresses, everything Harry has learnt is called into question as he discovers the most jealously kept secret of the Wizarding civilisation.
Wow, I'm hooked.
Summary: Sense: a word of so many meanings. This is a story about senses. The common sense notion of self preservation that is lost when friends are in need, the senses of the body that can be damaged so easily, and the intuitive senses of the heart that tell you when things have changed. R/Hr focused with a little bit of H/G, not a lot of fluff, with rotating views between the characters on a truly horrific day.
Quicksilver Quills Runner-Up - Best Romance, Canon
Gryffinpuff, you are seriously talented. That was truly beautiful writing. Thank you.
Summary: "I'm Harry. Harry Potter," the man smiled as he reached out a welcoming hand, "and who are you?" "Brian. Brian Harrison," the boy lied. He could feel the sadness rise in him as they shook hands, as if meeting for the first time.
Trust Harry to be a really decent person even when he has gone barmy. Thanks for the great story.
Summary: This story follows the time the trio will be spending at the Dursley’s home on Privet Drive. As the trio prepares to take on the biggest mission of their lives, Ron and Hermione 'fight' their own “Internal Battles” to determine if a romantic relationship will be a new beginning for them, or doom their friendship, and along with it, any hope of success against "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named”. Are Hermione and Ron finally going to give in to their feelings for each other?
I elaborated very much upon this short period of time, but I had a lot of fun writing about it.
This story is complete...but there is a continuation! See the final A/N: for details!
What a great read - the characters really ring true, and I love the tension you created between Ron and Hermione.
Author's Response: Thanks!
Summary: Reuniting after a ‘friendship hiatus’, Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Hermione are entangled once again in a mystery that involves an ex-lover, disappearing girls, and a mysterious, magical potion causing all sorts of problems.
This Post-Hogwarts fic focuses on Ron and Hermione’s ‘budding’ relationship while the four friends attempt to solve a mystery in a club called ‘Boundaries’. Will the boundaries that Ron and Hermione have barricaded themselves behind survive the ‘knock, knock’ of true love attempting to beat them down?
This fic is the sequel to Internal Battles also by Emily Jayne.
This story is now complete.
It's 12.32 AM in Australia at the moment and it's your fault I am up this late. I just had to read all the chapters at once. Thanks for a great story.
Author's Response: well I am glad taht you liked them! There is a nother story...but it can wait...sleep dear...sleep and snore!
Summary: Hermione Granger finds herself in an unusual place, an unusual time for that matter. Through an unintentional mishap, she is tossed right into the mix with James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and Sirius Black. Will she make it back to her own time without altering the future irreparably? And what will happen when she returns?
Thanks to everyone who nominated this story for a Quicksilver Quill, and congratulations to the winners!!
Summary: Harry is steadfast in his decision to break up with Ginny Weasley, hoping that she will be kept safe from Voldemort's clutches, but unforeseen circumstances will push them back together sooner than anyone could have anticipated. Harry finally acknowledges his true feelings for her before setting out on the hunt for the Horcruxes, but unfortunately the subsequent war with Tom Riddle and his followers would end up lasting longer than anyone could’ve expected. Can Harry and Ginny’s love stand the test of time? And how far will Harry go to make sure they are given the chance to find that out?
There are so many great ideas in here, I'm completely hooked. I love Essit. Even though I didn't like the violence much I still had to keep reading and find out what was going to happen! Would have been good to have Harry Lupin around when I was having my babies....oh well.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. One of my goals from the beginning was to try and come up with a few ideas that I never saw in other stories. Essit herself comes from my own heart, since I made her to be a Native American of my own tribe, and I\'m glad you like how it turned out.
I\'m sorry about the violence, but I tend to visualize things as if they were movies, and when I see action scenes in my head, especially during a war, I see lot of things that a lot of people might not like. Hopefully the other aspects of the story and the happy ending make up for it for you, lol.
On a side note, my wife said the same thing about Harry being around for our kids, lol. Then again, I don\'t see him making house-calls for every pregnant woman in the world, lol. Thanks for taking the time to read and I\'ll see you next chapter!
Summary: Harry Potter disappears immediately after defeating Lord Voldemort, and the circumstances all point to him being dead. But when has Harry ever been known to just roll over and die? Join Harry on a journey of self-discovery to find the family he never knew he had.
Hmmm... I'm hooked. Poor Ginny - can't wait to find out what she's been doing all these years.
Someone else has probably already mentioned this, but I don't think UK police carry guns. I suppose they might do if they're in the special anti-terror whatsit.
What a great chapter - I love the "obliterate" - "No, Obliviate" line, and the "Do you really think I'm in a doubting mood?" paragraph really made me laugh. Usually when characters are eplaining things I already know (to other characters), I get a bit bored, but the way you did it was brilliant.
I chuckled at the term "Unspeakable Weasley".
I've only recently discovered this story and now I've devoured all the existing chapters - oh no! The idea about parallel memories going on is really clever - there are so many brilliant ideas in this story. I love Fred's kids' names and their hair - that's so true to Fred's character. In fact, I think all the characters are very true to canon - you've captured their true natures beautifully. You're really building up the tension now with all the H/G stuff that needs to be resolved - can't wait for the next instalment.
When Snape catches her in a compromising position and revokes Hogsmeade privileges, Tonks sees red. She plans payback and discovers that while revenge is supposedly a dish best served cold, it tastes even better hot.
*Not the usual 'Don't Stand so Close to Me' variety romance.*
Or at least sweet as Snape can get, snarky soul that he is, lol.
