Summary: Emily Gardner's life was at best uneventful and at worst slower than a tourtise enjoying a day at the beach. Until, through a series of near fatal events, she falls under the care of the mauraders.Soon, all of their lives become just a tad more interesting. But then again, when you put a frightened rat, a failed Don Juan, a chivalrous werewolf, a handsome bastard, and an aspiring actress with a talent for sticking her nose in places where it doesn't belong together in one dormitory...interesting becomes an understatement.
(rated for mild swearing and some sexual inuendo latter on)
This one is worth continuing. It would be nice to know what happened to Emily (and Remus) later -- and why they didn't end up together. Nice story! Hope you decide to continue it.
Summary: Ginny feels left out after Ron and Hermione start spending more time together during their summer at Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place. All she wants is her best friend back. She's excited when she hears that Harry's coming, because she's sure that Ron would rather hang out with Harry than Hermione. But is that really all she's excited about? With a prod in the right direction from Tonks, will Ginny realize something else?
Nicely written -- too bad the formatting makes it hard for us old folks to read. ;->
Summary: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, a blond Weasley. It's Harry's sixth year. Voldemort is back, yet strangely quiet. A second prophecy. This is my version of what happens next. The whole book is written, along with all of year seven. I will post as fast as I can get the chapters past the moderators.
Story is now complete. Look for the sequel, I will be posting the first chapter tonight 6-2-05, and it usually takes 4-5 days for the mods to approve it. The title of the sequel is, Harry Potter and the Unlocked Mind.
Lovely story -- I had a power outtage on the next-to-last chapter, and was quite upset for the 2 hours it took to get back online and ifnish it. I read it in two sittings -- would have read it in one if I hadn't had to go to work. Thanks!
Summary: (Sequel to Practically Brothers). Voldemort is dead, it's over. But happy endings don't follow automatically, as Lupin discovers with Snape, and Harry. While he is recovering at Hogwarts, Lupin is alarmed by Snape's behavior. He, Dumbledore and Hermione are forced to impose a strange kind of therapy on their friend. Can being transformed into a creature with a simple heart heal a damaged spirit?
I think this is one of the most original fanfics I'd read; I loved the idea of transfiguring Snape into sev-the-dog for theraputic purposes, and loved his reaction to the transformation back into himself. Lovely!
Summary: Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione struggle to fill their roles in the two prophecies. Time is growing short and the finally battle looms. Who will decide where and when it takes place? Will the foursome find the key to Harry's victory in time?
This is the year seven sequel to, Harry Potter and the Blood Traitor. Read that first, or you will have no clue what is going on in this. Now that HBP is out, and I have continued to post my story, Harry Potter and the Unlocked Mind, I thought I would take a second to say this. Unlocked Mind will not be modified in any way to accomodate any of the cannon from HBP. Unlocked Mind, while not posted, was essentially finished before the release of JKR's book. Any similarities that my version of year seven has that may tie it to JKR's version of year six are coincidence.
Super tale! Read it in one sitting, and it's worth the stiff knees and sore back I got in return. I'll enjoy reading future stories you write -- and will line up to purchase the ones you sell to a major publisher soon.
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for your kind words.
Summary: Summary : The sequel to Daughter of Light. Maeve has a very bad end to her honeymoon as things come to light about Severus that astound her. Why is her husband so keen to keep Draco Malfoy alive at all costs and can she really get over her loathing of Narcissa Malfoy to work together to save both Severus and Draco from the fate that Voldemort would like to inflict on them? Why is Harry so furtive and will Neville save the day when Maeve’s necklace is returned to her by her father. Oh, and our favourite bad-boy Auror is back!
There has been rather a long break in the writing of the story due to work commitments, but I'm back on the case and hoping to get it finished - if there's anyone left still reading!! :-)
Loved this sequel to the Daughter of Light -- right up until I realized it wasn't finished, and may never be finished. I know that real life (and other projects) get in the way, but I hope you get around to finishing it someday. It's well worth reading all the way to the end. Thanks for sharing!
Summary: So many tiny things can change the outcome of our futures. How much do we already know? How are Ginny and Lily so much alike? Surprise weddings, painfull losses, and Ron without a voice, leaves the seventh year at Hogwarts to be the most interesting yet. Please review.
**Please see Author's note in Ch. 24, The Last Riddle**
Nice end-of-the-battle tale. Thanks for sharing! Some nice, inventive twists, like the founder's room, and the link between Harry and the founders.
Summary: This story starts a few days after the end of HBP. Harry has already had one shock to him, so what are a few more? Mainly H/G with R/Hr and other pairings. AU since its my version of book seven.
Read Bio, important info to be revealed.
Nice! Thanks for sharing it.
Nice! Thanks for sharing it.
Summary: After the trauma of his sixth year Harry and his friends enter into their last year of magical education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The trio try to balance passing their exams with fighting Voldemort and planning their futures. Despite all that, romance will fill the air with wedding bells ringing out. This year Harry is in more danger than ever when his enemy finds new ways to try and get the Boy Who Lived. Voldemort’s presence will be felt more than ever as he steals more lives; can Harry find himself before its too late? And what adventures will he have along the way?
If you haven’t read Harry Potter and The Girl Who Lived then I would strongly urge you to do so because if you don’t then this story probably won’t make any sense to you. Be helpful to writers by Reading and Reviewing!
The very last chapter of this fic has been reworked. Please re-read there's more about the kids in there! Also my author's notes on the final chapter have also been added. Ten part fic related to this going up shortly!!
One of the things I like about your stories is the way you put things into context with translation of the Latin spells for those who didn't suffer through the years of parochial school Latin I took, and the photos on your author's page. Thanks!
Summary: Oh, I'll tell you a tale of a sainted wizard, of his friends and their adventures in store. And I'll tell you a tale of an evil wizard, of the decimated world torn apart by his war.
But be warned, I say, think not far ahead. For where you might see gain, loss may be instead.
Heavily run the theories and conclusions dreamt out of whims, but know that what you hope lies most likely not within.
She's written the words, and told the lot of trials, tribulations, and soul-eating rot.
But I won't tell you how, and I won't tell you when. Just know your illustrious Bartender has done it yet again
What lies Beyond the Prophecy and Harry Potter's life- who knows? Only the exalted one, Merlin, and the one who writes.
Oh, dear. I didn't think any fanfic writer would put tears in my eyes, but you managed it. Nice work!

Harry defeated Voldemort. Harry married Ginny. Harry and Ginny had five children. Harry disappeared. My name is Lily Potter, and this is the story of what happened when my father returned after six years missing to find my mother about to re-marry. This is the story of myself, my crazy family, and most of all, this is the story of my parents and the man who tried to come between them. (pre-Deathly Hallows)
"Oh, I can so die happy now!" -Sirius Potter
A lovely story, with a very well-thought out plot, and some nice twists. Loved the wedding scene, including Draco's "redemption" -- and Lily is a worthy successor to her parents in terms of strength, humor, and intelligence. Thanks for sharing it!
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I\'m glad you liked how the wedding happened, and Lily\'s character. I\'m a little fond of her myself ;)
Summary: John Doe's appearance in Burwell was one of the few exciting things that had ever happened in this tiny town, and everyone wanted to know everything about him from his real name to how he got a peculiar lightning shaped scar on his forehead.
But five years later John still can't remember a thing. So when a stranger shows up with tales of magic and wizards, and a wand like John had the night he appeared in Burwell, John is willing to forget the eerie feelings this man invokes with the hope of finally remembering who he is.
The seventh and final chapter is just waiting approval.
Oh, dear! Nice story until the last sentence -- then the worst cliffhanger I've ever seen on the site. What a terrible thing for the site manager to do to readers! List a fic as "completed", then put "next" at the end of the "last" chapter....then post a "not validated" page so you can't finish it. Truly sucks -- and I don't mean the author's work, either. Good writing!
Summary: Long after a war ends the wounds remain. When forced to face something so horrific a part of a person’s very soul dies. People are left changed. Societies are left in shambles
During this time, people are prone to making bad choices. Horrible things are said and done because the bitter continue to fight. How can such a monstrous event ever truly be over? And how can those left behind truly regain their lives
This has to be one of the most original and well-written fan-fic novels I've ever seen. The idea of Harry torturing someone -- and Neville teaching his son to hate -- is almost unthinkable, but you pulled it off in a believable way. Loved the ending -- redemption all around! Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. It means a lot. I\'m glad you enjoyed the story.
Summary: DH SPOILERS! Harry is so consumed with his career as an Auror that he loses touch with Ginny and their children until a letter arrives to help him remember what really matters. But is something sinister waiting out there to take it all away? An escape from Azkaban, the first in twenty years, stirs up Harry's worst fears from the past as those he loves are threatened.
Romance, mystery, and drama combine to make this a story you won't soon forget! Set one year before DH epilogue. Completely canon compliant. All reviews receive responses.
THE EPILOGUE IS UP! I don't know whether to laugh or cry as this story comes to an end, and Harry finally figures out where it's really at. (Thanks again to the amazing mods for your rapid-fire response!)
I think this is the best piece of post-DH fanfiction I've read. You're very talented, and your story was both well-written and well-edited. I read it in one sitting, as I couldn't wait to see how it all worked out. Excellent plot & character development -- thanks so much for posting it!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for reading it and special thanks for your review. Comments like yours are what keeps me going, and they are deeply appreciated.
