This is a great story. I love the Harry/Hermione chapter.

Loved this story. I even cried a little. Even though I knew that Hermione couldn't stay, I couldn't help but read. Very beautifully written.
Author's Response: Thanks. Even though she could\'t stay, I could\'nt help but write it.
Summary: The beauty of what isn't there... If Dumbledore had waited a little longer to relocate it, what might Hermione have seen in the Mirror of Erised? This nostalgic little "What-If?" takes place during Year One, and answers that question with a haunting twist.
This is an AWESOME story! Great take on it. I, too, got a little teary-eyed. : )
Author's Response: Gosh, thanks! I\'m relieved that the ending had an emotional impact, and not just a big \"Huh? What did I just read?\" :D
Summary: The battle is fought, the war is won--but no victory ever comes cheap. Join Alice, Andromeda, Ginny, Narcissa, Luna, Molly, and Hermione as they discover the cost of war.
EDIT: I'm back! And I am SO SORRY I was gone so long. There is absolutely no excuse for making you wait almost three years for an update. *hides from angry reviewers* The next chapter is in the queue!
Oh, too sad. : ( Still, very well-written. The very last line, when she went back to resuming the knot, was such a simple yet powerful way of ending the story. Please keep up the good work.
Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I thought that was a good ending, as well; I\'m glad you liked it. I will hopefully post more soon, so keep watching. Thanks again!
