My penname really says it all, I think. I am a Ravenclaw Hermione. I tend to ship Hermione/Harry and adore a good Ron/Luna, Draco/Harry or Ginny/Draco (only if it's done right though), and I love AU and the wonderful challenge it presents. Other than that:
Once upon a time lived a girl with a strange past, a complicated present, and a unique future. Her family was not all the same cloth, but patchwork. Her heart was patchwork also. In her head she held a plethora. She had talks with God and she danced in the moonlight and she sang songs with no words and solved the universe in a day. She was fearless in her fears and strong in her weaknesses, and she fought to live happy ever after. She did the impossible thrice over and made fun with fate. And then, she told you about it, and you laughed. ^-^
Summary: "Be careful what you wish for," the old adage goes. So what happens when Hogwarts is under a spell where what you say is what you get?
Chappie 14 is UP! And while it is the end, let us not be sad, but instead read the insanity that has driven so many to review and nearly wet themsleves with delight.
i luv it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Yay! :D
Summary: A slightly twisted, but highly realistic, possibly humorous, and very late, look at the Marriage Law Challenge. Mentions character deaths (but not HG or SS) and has some possible squickiness in passing that results in an "R" Rating. No house-elves were harmed in the writing of this ficlet, who I cannot say the same of Cornelius Fudge, Minister of Magic.
Brilliant, truly brilliant. The writing and plot are both splendid.
Summary: Winner of the 2008 QSQ for Best Female Original Character.
Twelve years ago, one man's life was changed forever by three simple words: “Severus, I'm pregnant.”
Now, twelve years later, a girl will embark on the journey of a lifetime. But life at Hogwarts for a first year is far from simple, especially not when she's in the same year as Harry Potter. She will face enemies, choices and danger, while struggling to deal with her past's dark secrets that, after all these years, still threatens to destroy her.
One girl's journey. One man's desperate search. One last chance for Severus Snape to find the daughter he lost.
A great look into Snape's more feeling side, but still believable of him. There were only a few grammar errors, all in all it was amazing.
Summary: The resistance against Lord Voldemort's regime meets a remarkable girl who changes everything. One-shot.
The idea of the Scent and the general AU are great, and your flow was fairly good, but I think Sophie's power is a bit too unrealistic. Prehaps if she were only immune to the Scent spell, and similar tracking spells, it could be believable. But to be immune to all spells is a bit of a stretch. Keep on writing though, you show a lot of promise.
Summary: This is a story about a love of books. It is a story about a boy and a girl united by this love.
Perhaps there's a reason why Hermione Granger values frienship so strongly. Perhaps there's a reason why Hogwarts: A History means so much to her. And perhaps there's more to her life before Hogwarts than we have been told.
This is her story.
This story was nominated for a Quicksilver Quill Award 2012: Best General Story!
This is surprisingly well written, a refreshing change of pace with all of those pesky GrangerSues out there. There is exactly enough action and dialogue to set off the required informative setting bits, and the pacing is rather nice.
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing, I really appreciate it!
