I enjoy listening to wizard rock, reading and writing fanfiction, and listening to HP podcasts. I enjoy reading other books and writing as well. I don't like sports, so I spend my free time doing these things and playing with my dog, Penny. I'm 14.
Summary: Remus saw Harry’s pain. He saw it from the moment the boy, or rather, man, walked through the door. He wished he could do something to dull the anguish in Harry’s eyes. But that seemed difficult while he was still dealing with his own hurt.
I loved it. I was hoping that Remus would sort of step in as Harry's parental figure for Sirius after Sirius died. I was kind of disappointed about this part of HBP. But thanks, as it gave this what I needed! Very well-written. :)
Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione make a trip to Godric's Hollow to visit the Potters' graves. There, Harry speaks to his parents for the first time, and in so doing, discovers that the dead are never truly lost. (One-shot. Bring your kleenex.)
Awww. Loved it.
Summary: Lily Evans has known James Potter for nearly seven years and she has seen him change from a little boy to a slightly bigger, more arrogant boy. But one night, beneath the Whomping Willow, she sees him mature into a man.
I loved it! I picture James exactly as Lily pictures him in this one-shot. I love the premise for the story. Good job! :)
Summary: Ron and Hermione have a heartfelt talk about what used to be when Ron discovers that she is dying. Will they get everything sorted out before the time comes? Or, will the time even come? The couple finally realises that a life and death situation needs love; no matter how hard the odds are of overcoming it.
This was written as an assignment for Roxy Black’s class, OWL-Level Romance, for the Spring Term of 2007. I am in Hufflepuff!
Awww, I'm glad they made up in the end. This made me cry. It's so well-written. Anyway, great job! :)
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much! I\'m so sorry I made you cry! *huggles reviewer* ~Lindsey :)
Summary: Ron has been nursing his crush for Hermione for quite some time now. He finally gets the nerve to sit down with her and discuss his feelings when he spies her writing a letter to an old friend. Will he get the right words out to her or will he lose her forever?
This is an assignment for Roxy Black's OWL level romace class. I am NikkiSue and I am from Slytherin house.
Awww, sweet. :)
Summary: Hermione comes to Grimmauld Place in the summer after her fourth year, just looking to help out. When her and Ron get trapped in a room they’re supposed to be cleaning, arguments ensue and relationships may develop. Is their friendship strong enough?
This was written for the final assignment for Roxy Black’s, Fluff to Fiction---OWL level romance.
Loved it! Very sweet. :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! ~Lindsey :)
Summary: When Harry, Ron, and Hermione arrive at Spinners End shortly after 6th Year looking for Horcruxes, Hermione makes a most shocking discovery: Draco Malfoy, dying into the shadows of the abandoned house, alone and helpless. She is faced with a difficult choice - should she leave him to die, or actually help him?
Written for the final for From Fluff to Fanfiction OWL Level class. I am Sarakime of Slytherin.
Is this D/Hr? I just wasn't sure. I'm not a very big fan of that ship, but this is very well-written, and I really like how they help Draco and he even says 'thanks'. I think there's an inner heart to Draco that we just haven't seen yet. Loved it!
Author's Response: Yes, it is, in fact. It\'s kindof minor, because the plot line didn\'t allow for much more. Thanks so much for the review!!
Summary: In Rowling's books, we see most Sortings yield five boys to each House, and yet there were only four Marauders. What happened to the other one?
This story was submitted for the "You Sorted WHERE?" One-Shot challenge.
Wow, Snape as a Gryffindor. That must be hard to write! I thought you pulled it off quite nicely, though. I suppose he still acts the same as a Gryffindor, though. :)
Summary: What if Draco was a Gryffindor? Would he be as haughty without two "bodyguards" behind him 24/7? Would he be rude and mean? What would his parents say?
I loved this! At first, this side of Draco was a little strange to me, but I liked it in the end. I makes me really wish that Draco would turn good. Not buddy buddy with Harry or anything, but at least not go the same way as his father. Anyway, loved it!
Author's Response: thanks! I\'m glad you liked it.
Summary: This is a strange tale about events that resulted to Neville Longbottom becoming the-boy-who-lived.
I blame a dead crup, Sirius, Bellatrix and some escaped fairies. Wipe that smirk off your face, I'm being serious here... really!
I like the flowing and paragraph structure. I also like how you broke it up into parts and added the narration in. I can tell that you spent a lot of time on it. I also love the Madeleine L'Engle quote. I'm a huge A Wrinkle In Time fan. Anyway, I really enjoyed it! :)
Author's Response: you know I didn\'t even know that it came from a book ... *lol* I just loved that poem when I read that. Thanks for telling me this. Now I know I\'ll have to read that...
I don't know if it's actually from A Wrinkle In Time, but she's the author of that series and many other books. It could be from any of them, but I must say that she's a very good children's book author.
Author's Response: Well it turns out that although this poem was indeed used in her works ... it was actually written by an unknown writer during the medieval times ... I\'ve got to correct this. :)
