Killer Instincts by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: London: Four murders have taken place under bizarre circumstances, for what seems to be an equally bizarre reason.

Harry, a happily wedded man with a wonderful wife and a cute daughter, is an Auror at the Ministry of Magic and is now given a new case to solve with Ron and four other Aurors. Incidentally, the four Aurors include Ginny, Harry’s ‘schoolboy crush’; and it turns out to be much more than a crush when Harry sees her again. What’s more is that Harry is working upon a case that seems to connect to him directly. And once again, it opens up old fears: fears of losing loved ones.

Ron, on the other hand, seems to be tired of Hermione. Tempers are running high and fights are breaking out more often than usual. Are they really falling apart? Or can they sort this out before it is too late?

Then there is the case itself. Who is trustworthy, and who is not? Who is deadly enough to murder four people in cold blood?

Indulge into the gut-wrenching action, combined with warm romance and tingling suspense; while I tell you a story of love, ambition and obsession… a story of what those killer instincts can do. EDIT: MAJOR revamping going on, with regard to plot, characterisation, and general style of writing. I would urge you not to read this until I've removed this notice because I wasn't very good six years ago, and this is as bad as I was. *Places traffic cones*

Hey, Nonny, Nonny by Pussycat123

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: “With a little thing called trickery, lies and deceit ...”

Based on the Shakespeare play, Much Ado About Nothing, this fic follows the Marauders, Lily, and her identical twin friends, Isabella and Henrietta (Izzie and Henrie to most) as they fall in and out of love, through complex, elaborate and intricate tricks, plots and schemes. This fic has everything. The Marauders, Shakespeare, humour, romance, devious plans and maybe even a bit of snogging here and there ... so are you ready?

“Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into Hey, nonny, nonny”

Summary: James Potter is about to give up his pursuit of his six-year crush, Lily Evans. But will he change his mind after an enlightening conversation with an understanding taxicab driver? One-shot, R&R!!

Have you ever fallen in love? James asked hesitantly.

Have they never requited your love?

Have you ever thought of giving them up?

Yep. Did it too. Was without a doubt the worse mistake Ive made in me bloody life.

awwwwwwww. that was a very toughing story. i loved the taxi driver. he was so funny yet smart and had very good advice indeed. i founf it so sad that isabella did love him and he just gave up. it stung my heart. almost made me cry *wipes away tear drop. I also found it a very good idea to have jakes and james names similar as it adds to the effect of them having similar lives. i absolutley LOVED the ending. it was truly amazing how you ended this famfic with harry and with the taxi drivers chuckle. james had lived out the life that he never had (even though he died early, which adds to the saddness) . this story really makes me think. its written very thoughtful and it seems like you put a lot of effort into this story. id like to congratulate on a story well done.
great job and keep on writing

Author's Response: I\'m really glad that you liked my story! Yes, I rather think that this is one of my most brilliant writings (judging by the number of positive reviews I\'ve read, of course). Thank you for the review! :)

The Dark Arches by Insecurity

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Lily is the southern lass who is unaccustomed to the industrial north. Severus is the fiercely independent and scruffy local. They have one thing in common: they can both do magic! This one, defining factor forges the strangest friendship and leads to mutual affection. Together, they face problems from their parents and the local bullies, in order to discover the power of magic together.

I owe thanks to several, wonderfully helpful people. Firstly, Erika/VV for beta'ing my story. Secondly, to Gary for finding Holbeck and pointing me to several very useful sites for research. Thirdly, to Jan for the dialect advice. Fourthly, to Beth and Alice for their help with dialect and mannerisms. I may have been born in Sheffield, but this project has made me realise just how Midlands I am!

Hi there,
i think that this story is amazing!
I really love your style of writing! It makes me want to read on! I think that this story has an amazing story line. I think it's great how you gave snape that accent!
'“Yuh dun’t like it,” he commented blandly'
That was my favorite line of his. It was so cute how he said it!
Great Job on this story!

A Matter of Property by anath

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: When Sirius Black dumps a girl, she cries and begs him to come back. When he humiliates her in front of the whole school, she does not seek revenge. Never. Too bad that no one ever said that to Angela Peters.
Reviewer: Raffles Signed
Date: 04/04/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

lol. this is the second time i read this story and it still makes me crack up. i love the way angela and sirius got back together again but my favorite part was the last sentence "...just a matter of property" it finishes the story of very nicley and also relates it to the title. a very well written story
cant wait to read more of your stories. i havnt got any of my own (thogh i have written some, they just havnt gotten exepted YET *wipes away tear drop), i really enjoy reading other peoples fanfics and yours was a really great story and it made me smile^^ yay

Author's Response: Hi again! I am really flattered that you decided to write another review. Even two reviews! About the matter of property... well, no one is willing to share their property with others, being said property named Sirius or whatever...
