So I'm finally filling in this bio - it's only taken me about a year... :P :)
Among my favorites are Harry Potter, poetry, writing, anything equine (that is, having to do with horses), mac and cheese, books, music, the violin, the Ron/Hermione ship (along with Harry/Ginny and Lily/James), rainy days, and chocolate. I got hooked on HP when I stole the first book out of my brother's room when I was 5 years old. I have too many favorite characters to count. I found MNFF while clicking around Mugglenet one day and have been addicted ever since.
When God gave out brains, I thought he said trains, so I asked for a slow, small one :)
Summary: What I hope is an appropriate send-off for the loved ones we lost in Deathly Hallows. Hope you like it.
Nominated for the 2007 Quicksilver Quills!
Wow. (I'm still trying not to cry). This poem is absolutley amazing. There are so many things I love about it, especially the ending. You really captured the way so many of us felt when we read about a characters death - I had to go back and re-read because I couldn't believe they were dead. I think this is my favorite part:
Because of them,
The end could begin;
Thanks to their love, the
Dark Lord couldnít win.
That was just really powerful. I thought the entire poem was powerful. I also loved the part about Fred, that was well written. Great job. This poem is going to my favorites.
Author's Response: A re-review is just proof of how much a reader liked my poem. That... or they were impatient with the \"enter\" key lol
Summary: Severus Snape resorts to desperate measures to win Lily back after the "Mudblood" incident.
This was amazingly well written. Incredibly sad, though! This is definatly going to my favorites.
Summary: Lily Evans, so prone to fear for the worst, has no idea what to expect when James asks her to meet him. Maybe heartbreaking news or maybe the best in her life....
Wow! I absolutley loved this story - great job! It made me laugh, and the ending was just beautiful. This is going to my favorites - keep writing!
Author's Response: Thank you! I will! :D
Summary: James Potter has just informed his fellow Marauders that Lily Evans finally agreed to go out with him. His best friend Sirius Black is feeling rather evil and naughty and cooks up a scheme to follow James and Lily under the invisibility cloak on their first date for pure Marauder fun. He convinces Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew to join him. But things don't go as planned and much chaos and unexpected events unfold...
The title was inspired by Fall Out Boy's album title, From Under the Cork Tree.
Please update this as soon as possible, I thought it was brilliant! You did a great job. It was really well written, and it made me laugh, especially Sirius - he's such a pain, but I love him anyway :) I can't wait to find out what happens - keep writing!
Author's Response: I\'m working on the second chapter where they actually follow Lily and James under the cloak. I\'m so glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Summary: This is Harry's first birthday as described in Lily's letter to Sirius that Harry discovered in Grimmauld Place. Please read and review. I changed the title of this story from 'Happy Birthday Harry!' to 'A First and Final Birthday'.
Awww..so cute! I really liked this story. It made me laugh - even though it was sad in a way, because that was the only birthday Lily and James got to spend with Harry. I loved the ending where they were talking about Harry being a 17 year old. Great job! Keep writing!
Author's Response: Thanks! I too think this story was joyful and sad at the same time, because death took Lily and James before they spent enough time with Harry or even themselves.
Summary: DH SPOILERS
What happened that night between Grindelwald, Albus, and of course, Ariana.
Oh, wow. This is an amazing poem - simply amazing. I nearly cried. I loved the entire poem, especially the ending.
I recently posted a poem (All my faults) about Dumbledore, too - I feel so bad for him after his story in book 7.
Great job! This is going on my favorites. Keep writing! :)
Author's Response: woohoot! :D I think that\'s the first thing of my to get onto somebody\'s favorites! -huggles- Danke schoen!
Summary: DH Spoilers In Summary: This poem about Hermione's feelings when she and Ron kiss!
This is a great poem! It's so cute, but it really seems like what Hermione would be thinking as they FINALLY kissed. :) Keep writing!
Author's Response: Thank you! I can\'t get over the fact that they kissed!
Summary: A short poem told from Ginny's POV during her third or fourth year. It is regarding her unreciprocated feelings for Harry. In my imagining this is what she's feeling around the time she "gives up" on him.
This is a really good poem! Very well written, and I love the repetition of over and over. I can really imagine that this is how Ginny felt during the time that she had 'given up' on Harry. Also, I love the ending, it was superb. Great job, keep writing!
Author's Response: thanks! I\'m so glad you liked it! And I definately plan on writing more!
Ah, Christmas. The season of joy and love. And Head Boy James Potter fully intends to use the loving atmosphere to his advantage by coming up with plans and using them to capture the heart of Lily Evans.
But since when do plans transfer beautifully from parchment to life?
Six plans become five, five become four, four become three, three become two, two become one, and then there are none.
Then his friends come to the rescue.
But of course.
WOLE..that made me luagh out loud. Loved this chapter!
Author's Response: Ooh, it made you laugh? I hope you continue reading this fanfic! Thank you for the review.
Summary: A half-silly, half-coping-with-last-book-grief ballad in tribute of everyone's favorite red-haired family! Written in the style of "Weasley is our King," but honors all members of the immediate Weasley family, not just Ron.
One semi-naughty implication that tips the scale from G to PG. Big, HUGE DH spoilers. If you've read DH, enjoy, and please review! (Extra kudos to those who add their own verses!...)
I love this poem! It made me giggle, although the line (about George) 'though days as one of two are done' nearly made me tear up...I couldn't believe it when Fred died...
Author's Response: I know...I know...I think I took that death hardest of all, because I was half expecting the others (Lupin and Tonks!...that tore me up, but I was expecting it...)
Summary: And Odo the hero, they bore him back home... The full story of how Odo came to meet his untimely death.
Wow! You did a wonderful job writing this - I too think Jo would write something very similar to this. Favorite part:
His favourite game was to sneak up on kids, And ó well, the restís rather messy.
Keep up the excellent writing!
Author's Response: Thank you very much!!
Summary: At the battle of Hogwarts Voldemort is defeated.
What is going through his mind as death aproaches?
Wow...I absolutely loved the ending. It made me shiver. Great job! Keep writing!

Author's Response: I quite liked the ending myself but I didn\'t know how other people would see it.
Summary: Beware of DH Spoilers in Summary!
A poem I wrote about George Weasley's feelings after he finds out he's lost the most important person of his life.
Oh, wow. This is so incredibly sad...I LOVED the ending. Also, I really liked this line:
"Take him with you, and my soul with him!"
Great job! This nearly made my cry. Keep writing!
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m very glad you enjoyed it, and sorry about almost making you cry, haha.
Summary: Remus Lupin writes a poem for his son Teddy.
DH Spoilers obviously
Wow! *wipes eyes* I loved it - I can definitely hear Lupin saying this to his son. The whole poem was beautiful, but there were a few lines that really stood out; the ending was just superb.
Author's Response: Awww... Thank you, thank you so much. That\'s one of the best reviews I have ever received. Wow.. just.. thank you, thank you so so much. I\'m glad you could imagine Lupin saying something like this to Teddy, I was a little worried that he was a bit OOC, so it\'s always a relief when you hear you did alright. The endings my favorite bit too =)
Oops! I clicked the 'submit review' button a little too soon. Anyways, wonderful poem, keep writing! *admires your writing abilities*
Author's Response: Hahha, that\'s ok! Review as many times as you want, I don\'t mind haha. Another awesome review by you, thank you so much again! =)
Summary: I canít see the hope.
The thoughts of a weary soldier who feels like anything but a hero.
This gave me shivers, it's really beautiful. Great job.
Here, where children cry for their
Lost parents, and I had none
From the start. I donít belong
Where lovers grasp frozen hands and
Give into the tears. I lost that right
A long time ago. I do not belong.
Let me leave.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked that stanza. Thank you for taking the time to review! :)
Summary: Cho likes spending time with Harry and all, but she really just wants Cedric.
Wow...I never really liked Cho too much, but this really made me feel for her. This is a really beautiful poem, well done.
Summary: The summer night before her wedding, Lily sits under a tree with James. A relaxing, happy one-shot about love and happiness.
... heaven forbid I ever forget how I love these things, how I love the intertwining of our hands and the way time has paused while we rest here before our lives take off and we stand to meet the world together.
Awww...such a sweet little one shot. Going on my favorites! Great job, keep writing.
Author's Response: Aw, thank you! And I plan to keep writing :) Thanks for reviewing!
I actually left a review on this fic a long time ago, but I 've just reread it and want to leave a better review because this piece deserves it. This one-shot is simply lovely; it really is one of the best fanfictions I've read. The idea behind it is wonderful, as is the writing. It flows very well- it's not too short or too long, and you express Lily's thoughts and emotions clearly and beautifully. Both her and James' characterization was spot-on; I especially liked the line where Lily talks about James "climbing up a tree before I know what he's doing". It's just such a James-ish thing to do :) The love and happiness that both Lily and James feel is clear throughout the story, but knowing that they ended up having such a short time together makes it sweetly sad and poignant.
Anyways...I'll stop rambling on about how much I love this story now, but I just wanted to let you know that it really is one of my favorites, and you definitely have talent.
