Okay, I'm a normal girl with a hippie name (damn parents) and a (not so) closet obsession with Harry Potter. I have practically memorized the books, having listened to them on CD and read them all at least a hundred times. I love writing fanfiction and reading it. I used to only go on myb cousin's MNFF account but it's about time that I got my own. I already know that my favorite MNFF stories are:
**The Upside of Being Down**
Moments of Bliss
Uncle Fred Calls Him Dick
When Darkness Did Surround Us
anything by Melindaleo...
Outside of the Harry Potter univers, I love:
Candles, Snow, Stars, Writing, Reading, My friends (how I ended up with such amazing ones, I'll never know), Snowboarding, Raspberries, Chocolate
Contact me, if you ever want to chat or anything like that (if anyone is actually reading this...) and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
-Perfection's Defiance: chapter two waiting to be validated
Summary: Be a heroine and let him go, Ginevra. Even if it means to bite your lower lip to prevent yourself from saying something reckless, something too Gryffindor, too Weasley of you. Like ‘I want to fight with you’ or ‘I won’t stand in the back rows and watch you get killed by that madman’. Shut up, Ginevra. Chill. Act Hufflepuff. Try to smile.
Wow, you captured Ginny really really well. One thing though, JKR specifically says that Ginny has brown eyes.
Author's Response: I must correct that mistake, then. I\'ve always thought that Ginny had blue eyes, just like Ron. Thank you, I would have never noticed.
Summary: Sirius Black goes to visit baby Harry Potter for the first time. But does he expect to be named Harry's godfather? *One-Shot*
This was too adorable!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Summary: After a physically and emotionally draining day, Ron and Hermione find themselves alone with their thoughts - and each other - in front of the common room fire.
Lovely and fluffy-ful!
Summary: The darkest summer reveals the strangest light. An AU sixth year with canon pairings.
I was kind of hesitant at first but I think that I'm going to like this. Please update soon.
Author's Response: Thanks for giving the story a chance - I realize it can be difficult to buy into initially. As the story progresses there will be more explanations included.
Summary: When Ron and Hermione expect their first child, Ron searches for his childhood book of fairy tales.
This story is a collection of the finest Muggle fairytales, lovingly rewritten and retold to appeal to Wizarding children world-wide. Please note these tales were written before the release of Deathly Hallows. As such, the idea of Wizarding Fairy Tales was original at the time of writing. I must say that I was extremely excited to find Jo writing her own in the new book. (Though it was my idea first ;p )
That was really cute. I read it to my little sister and she liked it too.
Summary: The untold story of the Marauders. This fic follows the Marauders from twelve year olds to sixteen year olds, and tells the tale of Remus's furry little problem, how Sirius, James and Peter became Animagi, Sirius's "practical joke" on Severus, how they got their nicknames, how they wrote the Marauder's Map - everything!
I would like to read this story but it keeps saying access denied even though there are 3 chapters.
Author's Response: hmm... that\'s odd.... :S Chapter 3 only just got accepted, so maybe wait a day and try again - it may not have fully loaded as being accepted yet, if that makes sense... but if that still doesn\'t work, use the \"contact\" button on my profile to let me know and I\'ll send it to you though there if yo like :) xxx
Summary: Harry and Ginny are happily married with a baby on the way. When they manipulate Ron and Hermione into both meeting them for lunch, the last thing anyone expected was for Harry and Ginny to be kidnapped.
Suddenly Ron and Hermione are left with nothing more than a note and the realization it’s up to them to follow the clues and rescue the couple they both love and adore. If only the clues weren't nonsense. If only they knew who could possibly have taken Harry and Ginny. If only they didn’t hate each other. If only they hadn’t once loved each other.
Life just got a whole lot more complicated for Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
"Harry was right: there was no such thing as understanding girls, no matter how old a bloke got."
I loved it
I loved it
I loved it
I loved it
Usually, Ron/Hermione fics aren't my thing, but I couldn't get enough of this. In my opinion, this is how Ron and Hermione are meant to be written. This is how their story is meant to be told. With faults and drama and Ginny's stubborn, unwavering rationality in play.
Short or not, this was nothing short of incredible.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! While Ron and Hermione are, in my opinion, the ultimate couple of the Harry Potter series, I'm really more attached to Harry and Ginny and I tend to focus on them. This story is the exception! I'm glad you thought I managed to do their characters justice and enjoyed the way I had their relationship play out.
It wasa good chapter and wonderfully long. I'm starting to see more similiarities between all of your stroies. Update soon!
Author's Response: Some similarities, eh? Hopefully they\'re good things! Thanks for the review.
I probably wouldn't have read this if you hadn't writen it but it's really good. Update soon!
Author's Response: You read it \'cause I had written it? Oh that makes me so happy! Thanks for the review; hopefully I\'ll have the next chapter up soon!
Professor R.J. Lupin ... Previously Known As Moony by Pussycat123
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 25]
Summary: Professor RJ Lupin has had a rough life ... except for those precious years he spent as a teenager at school. And now, as he waits to start yet another new life working at the school where he spent so many good times, he looks back on those golden days, and it’s almost as if he’s reliving those times all over again ...
Short, but really good. I knew it would be!
Author's Response: Aw, thanks, I\'m glad you have faith in me! Sorry about the shortness, though. I didn\'t think there was much else left to say. Also, I wrote this when I was on holiday, so it was all longhand at first draft. It felt a lot longer then! =D
Summary: Ginny tries to convince herself that she should hate Harry.
Cute. Good one-shot. I liked " unreliable-ing "
Summary: For some people, regret is a dominating force. Erika Delian knows it first-hand. After 13 years of self-imposed seclusion, regret is all she has left. But with the return of the only man she ever loved, she will be forced to confront his anger, as well as her own guilty conscience.
Sirius/OC Set during OotP
It´s been a while since anything on MNFF has caught my interest but I am very impressed by this story. I hope your next update comes soon.
Author's Response: Wow, that\'s quite a compliment. I\'m so glad that you like it and hopefully I can keep impressing you. Thanks so much for taking the time to review and I\'ll do my best to update as soon as possible.
Summary: After receiving an urgent owl, James races to the nearest hospital where Lily anxiously awaits with a new arrival. On the way, James begins to doubt how a former troublemaker could succeed as a father.
Written on Father's Day and dedicated to fathers and fatherly-figures everywhere.
Awww. Too sweet!
Summary: “With a little thing called trickery, lies and deceit ...”
Based on the Shakespeare play, Much Ado About Nothing, this fic follows the Marauders, Lily, and her identical twin friends, Isabella and Henrietta (Izzie and Henrie to most) as they fall in and out of love, through complex, elaborate and intricate tricks, plots and schemes. This fic has everything. The Marauders, Shakespeare, humour, romance, devious plans and maybe even a bit of snogging here and there ... so are you ready?
“Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into Hey, nonny, nonny”
[Taken from Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing]
It is getting interesting. More interesting than I had expected, actually. Update soon!
Author's Response: =D I\'m full of surprises! Hopefully I can update soon, as soon as the queues are open, yes? Deal. Thanks for reviewing!
I had to read it when I saw who wrote it and it's great!
I can't wait for the next chapter! ;)
Author's Response: You read it because I wrote it? That\'s so nice! Thank you so much! I\'m really glad you liked it. =D
Summary: Lily Evans can’t help but have noticed something isn’t quite right. The inseparable Gryffindor boys aren’t speaking to one another, and Remus Lupin seems particularly withdrawn and upset. Figuring she should do something, Lily resolves to speak with Remus, but what should she say?
Even though I thought that it was a bit cheesey in the movie, you've made a good story out of it.
Author's Response: Haha, thanks. The movie line was a bit over-dramatic, but it sparked a nice plot bunny. :)
Summary: Lavender has just dumped Ron, yet she is the one who comes away with tears in her eyes. Ron and Hermione's not-so-perfect relationship through misty eyes.
I think that these are the perfect thoughts for Lavender. It's a great story.
Summary: Lily Evans started her fifth year at Hogwarts thinking that it was going to be her best year yet. She had an amazing boyfriend, great friends, and excellent grades. What could possibly go wrong?
Then, with a turn of events, she finds out that her vision of a perfect year couldn’t possibly be more wrong. She finds that her and her boyfriend don't make such a great couple after she finds him doing the worst thing a boyfriend could do. If that wasn’t bad enough, within the mix of confusion and break-ups, a certain messy haired Gryffindor gets involved in the midst.
She thought that this was going to be the perfect year, but it turns out, it's going to be far from it...
Even though it was short I think that it was a good start. I hope you update soon! ;)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! Very much appreciated!
Summary: "As some great nobody once said, ignorance is bliss. And it was, because Sirius Black had enough troubles, thank-you-very-much."
Existence is dairy products and skimming the newspaper. And Sirius needs a job. Life in the summer of 1979.
Funny, in a pathetic sort of way . (I mean the characters' situation, not your writing.) But with the money that Sirius supposedly inherited from his Uncle Alphard, he would have never been in this situation.
Summary: We learn here the story of Lily Evans, a Muggleborn attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her best friend -- and secret love -- Severus Snape, has been her guide through the first four years of her magical education. However, rumors of Severus’ doings are starting to concern Lily, as she starts to notice James Potter, a Quidditch star with unkempt hair and a knack for trouble. Lily’s internal battle is heating up, as she prepares to start her fifth year at Hogwarts.
(Character Death and Sexual Situations Warnings are for later chapters.)

This looks like its going to be a great story. Update soon!
Author's Response: Awesome, thanks!
