ABOUT ME
Once upon a time, an innocent high school freshman stumbled upon something called fanfiction while browsing MuggleNet's news archive. Having been a fan of the Harry Potter series since the first book was released, she decided to get to know this curious subculture of fandom. One particular Remus/Hermione fic called "Before the Moon Rises" later, she was hooked for life.
Since that fateful day, she has not once considered returning to her relatively normal, fandom-free life. She pays no mind to those who preach strict adherence to canon ships, believing instead that if one examines the slashy undertones of the texts carefully enough, one might find that the sexual chemistry between Harry and Draco is undeniable. Thus, opening people's eyes to the exciting world of HP slash has become her main purpose in life for the moment.
Currently, our heroine is studying psychology and screenwriting at the University of Southern California. She hopes to someday follow in the footsteps of her idol, J.K. Rowling, and become a successful novelist. Until then, she will be content to satiate her love of reading and writing with HP fanfiction.

Summary:
Just wanted to say your summary was REALLY good. You spelled Voldemort wrong, but other than that, it really made me want to read the story. You write well also, just a few minor writing errors but I liked it.
Author's Response: Thanks it took me awhile to think of it. I hope you continue reading
Quidditch Pitch by Secret Lily
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 176]
Summary:
Through the years, Dumbledore notices a reoccuring pattern taking place at his school. One-shot.
Aww this one-shot is so incredibly sweet. I especially loved the James/Lily part of it. It would've been really cute if you had incorporated the whole walk Harry and Ginny had after the quidditch game in HBP, but then again, you didn't know about that at the time you wrote this fic, so I don't blame you. Thanks for the great read though!
Take My Heart Away by Hatusu
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 957]
Summary:
Hermione goes back in time with one mission: to kill Tom Riddle before he ever comes to power. A difficult task, correct? An impossible one, she realizes, as a love between them grows stronger than anything she has ever known. Now Hermione has a choice to make. Will she condemn the Wizarding world to almost certain destruction, or will she take the life of the one boy she has ever loved?
*squee* After reading this fic about 7043284932840932 times on FF.net, this still remains one of my favourite chapters. Tom's confession is just so heartbreakingly sweet.
So I spent the last few hours rereading this fic for the 8403298432th time, and I've just got to reiterate that you're a genius :D I absolutely adore your writing, and this story is so deliciously creative. The ending is *perfect*. It sent chills down my spine, and not many fics do that to me, especially since I'm hopelessly picky.
In short, thanks for sharing your gift with your humble readers ^_^
Oh my gosh I had no idea you posted this fic on MNFF! I've probably read this fic over 20 times on Fiction Alley (but it got removed...I think someone might have plagiarised it, but I'm not sure) and FF.net. I'm so glad to see you have it here, so I'm finally reviewing :) AMAZING job on this story. It's one of my favourites, and it really got me hooked on Hermione/Tom. The plot, the characters, the irony...oh, it's all wonderful. So inspiring. Keep up the great work!

Summary:
Good job! First fics can be very hard to write, but yours was pretty good. The only criticism I can give you is that there are a few small errors, such as "your" instead of "you're" or other little mistakes like that. I would suggest reading over your work after you finish, but considering I don't do that either, I wouldn't be in a good place to speak.
Anyway, keep writing :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I'll correct that when submissions are open again. Glad you liked it :)

Summary:
Very powerful and well-written. I liked it a lot (which is a hard compliment to fish out of me). I'm a bit confused as to what was going on, but other than that, I loved it. Good job!
Author's Response: You're supposed to be confused;) It's only normal. If I could, I'd make this several chapters where I'd explain everything, but alas, I can't. Thanks for your compliments!
A Shot at Happiness by Lady Dragon
Rated: [Reviews - 18]
Summary: When a certain red-haired girl falls from her broom will Draco save her?
Ohh I really like this so far. You've got me interested, I'll be waiting for the next update :)
An Exercise in Pointlessness by lunafish
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 61]
Summary:
Snape has some unfinished business with Dumbledore.
Submitted by lunafish of Ravenclaw in response to the extra credit challenge "Letters to Heaven." Posted before DH.
At last I see what the hype is all about! I've heard a lot about your writing in passing, but I've never actually read a fic of yours. This is incredibly well done, though, and it's one of the first times I've ever enjoyed reading a Snape fic. The idea of him steeling himself for his execution is very moving, and his letter only enhances that. It reminded me a lot of A Tale of Two Cities for some reason. But yeah, wonderful job on this!
Author's Response: Aw, that's so cool of you to say! It took me awhile to discover the possible depth and beauty of Snape, but when I did--thanks to a lot of great writers on this site--I really hoped I'd be able to do him justice. After all the revelations in the last book, he's turned into quite an intriguing character to write about. And I haven't read The Tale of Two Cities, but I'm flattered all the same that my story could remind you of that celebrated work. Thanks so much for reviewing!
Lack of Heat Equals Cold by Queen of Serpents
Rated: [Reviews - 65]
Summary:
One-Shot (for now)
I love this. Draco's love for Hermione is so passionate and deep, and the way you portrayed his hurt and emptiness after she broke it off is perfect. Good job!

Summary: Across the Hogwarts lake from each other, two very similar famous couples spend their first afternoons together...(J/L, H/G one-shot)

Clair De Lune by Astrid Skywalker
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 386]
Summary:
It was full moon when the Dark Lord sealed a part of his soul within a magical amulet, and then broke it in half. One half was left to the faithful werewolves to guard. The other half was tossed into the impenetrable depths of time where no one but him could get it. When the first half has been found, the Order of the Phoenix selects Hermione Granger to go back into the past to search for the missing piece. What is waiting for her is a brutal task that will test her beyond her limits, and an undying love that extends beyond the boundaries of time.
RL/HG, Post-HBP
No werewolves were harmed in the making of this story.
Update (9 May): Chapter 17, Burning, is up! Enjoy!
I really like this so far. You write extremely well and that, plus the fact that this is a Hermione/Remus fic (a ship not found very often), makes this fic a rare pleasure. I look forward to reading the next chapter.
Author's Response: Oh, thanks so much for your very thoughtful review! :)
A Fairy Tale by Fairy-Light by Mudblood428
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 105]
Summary: There's no better Christmas gift than a first kiss. A special Ron/Hermione Christmas one-shot to keep you warm - no misteltoe required. Special Christmas Update 12/25/05: "Ron's Secret" - a special illustration by yours truly!
Oh, that was utterly adorable! I loved it. I usually shy away from R/Hr stories because they ship isn't to my liking, but this was very cute and fluffy...just what I needed to brighten up my day :) Fantastic job!
Author's Response: Yes! Fluffiness galore! (And not a little bit of cheese, to boot, eh?) Thanks for reviewing and Happy Holidays!
Never Walk Away by orange_balloon
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 6]
Summary: "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.” ~ Tennyson
One entry from the journal of Remus J. Lupin shortly after the death of Sirius Black ponders why the old adage is true.
Submission by orange_balloon of Gryffindor for the February Valentine’s Extra Credit Challenge.
Oooh, this is beautiful! It takes real talent to write a fic without having a solid plot or dialogue to rely on. You did a wonderful job describing Remus' grief and his feelings towards Sirius. Great work!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I decided to write this as a journal entry, rather than a full plot-driven story, to really bring out the feelings of losing someone. I am so glad you liked it.
Small Swift Birds by Hidden Magril
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 23]
Summary: Draco always makes a thousand birds for every death, and a thousand flowers for every love. HD implied preslash.
Wow, this fic was very beautiful. I loved it!
Happily Ever by Kedavra
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 20]
Summary: When baby Harry won't stop crying, Lily tells him a fairy tale. But in the real world, not everyone gets a happy ending.
Yayyyyy, your story got put up! Anyway, I usually don't give constructive reviews, and I think I've already told you what I think. I just wanted to be the first to review :P
Reconciliation by Kedavra
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 26]
Summary: After Sirius sends Snape down the willow, Remus is furious and refuses to forgive him. But when a mistake in potions class causes Sirius and Remus to switch bodies, Sirius sees a chance to win back Remus's trust.
YAY, first reviewer again. anyway, i'm proud to have beta'd this fic. i love your characterisation of slughorn, and remus is freaking adorable. i can't wait to read the next chapter.
amyyyyy congrats on winning second place :D *will start going around and bragging about getting to beta this story*
Fervidos Tripudio by Periwinkle
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 22]
Summary: Ginny enters Madam Fray's Dancing School expecting another normal session. But when she finds out that Draco is in her same class and not only that, but is her partner as well, Ginny has to learn to put the past behind and dance in the present.
Ah, the writing here is just superb. You provided just enough background info to satisfy the reader and, more importantly, focused on the moment at hand with such amazing detail. I love this ship, but it's hard to find good Ginny/Draco fics out there. Thank you for writing one!
Author's Response: *huggles*
No, thank you for the simply lovely review! I just had a crappy day and came to see this and so -- thank you!
