Once upon a time, an innocent high school freshman stumbled upon something called fanfiction while browsing MuggleNet's news archive. Having been a fan of the Harry Potter series since the first book was released, she decided to get to know this curious subculture of fandom. One particular Remus/Hermione fic called "Before the Moon Rises" later, she was hooked for life.
Since that fateful day, she has not once considered returning to her relatively normal, fandom-free life. She pays no mind to those who preach strict adherence to canon ships, believing instead that if one examines the slashy undertones of the texts carefully enough, one might find that the sexual chemistry between Harry and Draco is undeniable. Thus, opening people's eyes to the exciting world of HP slash has become her main purpose in life for the moment.
Currently, our heroine is studying psychology and screenwriting at the University of Southern California. She hopes to someday follow in the footsteps of her idol, J.K. Rowling, and become a successful novelist. Until then, she will be content to satiate her love of reading and writing with HP fanfiction.

Amazing. I love it, write more soon :) I always love fics in which Draco is the nice one as opposed to Hermione.
Summary: Here's the plot, its Hogwarts rhymes. I'm sure you've heard it many times. But this has story, romance too. You have to check if it's for you!
OMG I'm dying! I haven't read anything as funny as this since The Very Secret Diaries; not even PoA in 15 minutes beats this. Ahhhhh I can't wait to move onto the next chapter, thank you for making me crack up for 10 minutes straight!
OMG *dying* I haven't been able to contain my laughter since I started reading this. I'm in hysterics now, as are the 10 or 15 friends I passed this on to XD Please update soon!
LMAO, this has to be one of the funniest fics I've ever read in the romance section. I was literally cracking up while I read it. Awesome job, and keep writng...can't wait for chapter 4
Don't read if you are offended with rape and abuse. Contains events that will be quite offensive and possibly "disgusting". You have been warned.
Runner Up in the Dangerous Liaisons Awards and He Had It Coming Awards.
~The story is now Complete!~
Thanks for reading!
First of all, thanks for the reply to my review -- I was shocked when I discovered that it was even longer than my review :P I'm glad you didn't take it as negative, because it was meant to be anything but. Anyway, about this chapter...I absolutely loved it. Definitely one of my favourites so far, because Hermione's thoughts and confused feelings were so sad. The whole Dumbledore separating them dilemma was a really nice twist because now outside forces as well as Draco's own conscience are keeping them apart. I'm really excited to see what happens next :)
Up until this point, I haven't yet left you a critical review. I've been meaning to do so, but time has escaped me...so here I am, doing it now! But before I do, I just want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. I loved the way you described Draco's emotions and I love how you made him push Hermione away, because I was rooting for him to do that all along. He definitely needs a bit of self control. And now, that leads me to the critical part of this review...
Like someone said below, you've done a wonderful job handling a difficult plot so far. Rape is a VERY sensitive topic, and having incorporated one rape scene into one of my fics and nearly had to end up deleting the whole thing because of the flames I received from people, I have to say this -- handling a plot centered around the emotions that arise between someone and her rapist is no stroll down the street. For me, when I'm reading the graphic, passionate scenes, I can't help but feel sort of uneasy -- like they don't belong or are unnecessary. The thing is, you started this story with Draco utterly violating Hermione's mind, soul, and body, and when I read about her willingly giving herself up to him six chapters later, I can't help but feel a bit antsy. Perhaps it's because I've been reprimanded more times than I can count for the very same problem -- I "developed a romance too suddenly after she was raped." In some cases, people have told me that they had lost respect in me for even trying to make my two characters fall in love after one of them raped the other. Of course, that's far from what I think about you -- you're a brilliant writer. But I think just seeing it from an outside perspective changes my view of the whole issue of rape a little, because usually authors tend to make connections and explain situations in their head without explicitly communicating them through their stories. But as I said, you're a great writer; you have a way with handling and portraying angst and romance, one that has brought a tear to my eye more than once. Then again, you also have an undeniable talent for writing lust scenes. But I think you could expand on your ability to handle emotions more, and maybe someday try writing a less explicit and passionate fic. Don't do anything to this fic, because I love it and even if you made Draco beat Hermione to near-death and still had her swear her undying love to him, I'd still love it. It's just a suggestion, because I really like the way you write Draco's and Hermione's thoughts and I would love to see something softer and more feelings-based.
Anyway, as I said, please don't take this as me bashing your fic in anyway because I really do enjoy it. I'm looking forward to your next chapter :)
Author's Response: wow...that's one really, really, long review. I first thought you were flaming me, which would be sad on my account. Anyway, back to the replying. I thoroughly enjoyed your review. Although my heart kept on racing, hoping such a nice start would not have a horrible, flaming ending, I must say that each word you said really means a lot to me. It's been months since I completed the entire story and I still get goosebumbs about it. A long time ago, I got a really deep review about it, but it got lost when ff.net deleted my account and it feels really good to have someone write about it this thoughtfully. Anyway, you're right. It isn't any "scroll down the street" it's more like walking on fire. I got burned too many times while writing it, but I didn't let go that easily. I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I first wrote the prologue. But when it just hit me that I'm writing about RAPE, I realized this isn't easy. This was going to be one of the hardest, life-changing things that I would ever write. A lot of people are scared to write about rape, because they fear that they won't be just to it, and would probably offend people. I know I made a huge gamble while doing so, especially when I wrote about Hermione maybe falling in...something, but definately NOT "love". In this fiction, the word "love" is strickly forbidden. It's NOT a love story for anyone who thinks that way (and may be reading this). It's just about the craziness of the human mind. I did a lot of thinking when I wrote this, a lot of research when I begin delving into the fact Hermione was feeling more than drawn to her rapist. The fact that a girl could fall in love with the very same man that violated her is unthinkable, but it does happen, pretty rarely. I do admit that making her jump after him in just after 6 chapters wasn't something I should have done, but the whole story is in 13 chapters and the time frame greater than 6 chapters. It's not 6 days, it's about a few weeks. And I could give out justifications for every move I made, but that would be pointless. Such as this reply. Utterly pointless. I don't even remember what I was rambling on about...Oh, well, I'll just wrap this up, after the next chapter (8), I cut off on the graphic detail and I wrote more about their emotions. I do get a bit repetitive, but that's just to really stamp into the readers mind about what's happening. So basically, yes, dear, I will write more feelings-based. Basically chapters 9-13 is all about their emotions and how they were striving to overcome it :D. And, I do have more stories, by the way, and my writing style changed drastically, (Such as Stranded....5 chapters and not even a kiss between the two. It's killing me, but I want to go slow and see what it's like. ) I no longer write about rape since I exhausted the subject in this one story. But I do appreciate the time you took out to give me this one review. I've seen your name in a lot of places and although I never read your stories, I came to the conclusion you must be a pretty damn good writer, so it makes me proud to have a writer such as yourself leaving me this long review. I wish you gave me this review when I first wrote the story. It would've been very helpful. But since it's been over 8 months since I finished it, I can't do much but simply say thank you.
Great job with this fic, I love it. Keep writing.
Author's Response: Annie! Even though I don't know you personally, we still have the same problem. Thank you very much that despite all my pestering with the mods you have still come and reviewed my story! Thanks!
Summary: Post Hogwarts: Ron and Harry are sent to America for Auror training. Ron spends his last night in England with Hermione, and after returning two years later, he finds Hermione with a fifteen-month-old baby ...
OMG! I loved it, especially the ending. Your story is brilliant...I can't wait to read more. Update soon!
Omg Ron can't have a girlfriend! That...!! Poor Hermione and Hannah :( Update soon!
Awww, poor Ron! Sorry I can't leave a proper review right now, update soon :)
Holy crap this chapter was AMAZING! It was way worth the wait. I just hope you don't take that long to update again :P
Oh gosh. I have to say, I don't think I've ever hated any character in a fic as much as I hate Miranda. She's just so...gah. And Ron is so frustrating, he deserves a slap too just for being a incompetant idiot. That cliffhanger at the end of the chapter was pure evil; I can't wait to see what happens to Hannah. 10!
Summary: Parody of the Harry Potter series written and completed before the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It looks at the lives of some of the major characters as they wait impatiently for book six to arrive. Naturally, chaos ensues. Suitable for all.
Winner of the first annual Quicksilver Quills Award 2006 for best humor fiction. Thank you!
LMAO your fic is absolutely hilarious. I'm left speechless.
Author's Response: WOHOO!!! Speechless! Aww, thank you, that's high praise in my opinion!
Great chapter! You're a really good writer. I can't wait to read the next one!
Author's Response: Thank you so much - we'll see what happens...
Wow that was amazing, what a great way to end the fic XD I LOVED it, can't wait for you to write another humor fic!
Awww *sniff* don't end this story yet :( Ah well, if it means more time for Hermione + Draco, then I suppose I'll have to cope :P Loved this chapter though.
Author's Response: Yeah... I've been neglecting that one this weekend... thanks for taking the time to read my stories!
Wow I just read all 15 chapters and I'm in love with this fic! Keep on writing, it's hilarious and I LOVE the romance in it.
Author's Response: Wow, i'm glad you liked it! I have other stories out right now too, check those out if you want. I seriously have like 4 other stories. Thanks for leaving me such a nice comment!
This story sounds promising; it's really well written and moving already. I'm not usually one for H/Hr fics but I'll stick with this one...the one thing that confused me was the switching PoV's, but other than that, awesome job
Author's Response: I'm sorry for the confusion. I added an authors note. I wrote the flashback in my point of view and I guess I shouldn't have. I'll see what I can do about fixing it. Thanks for the great review and the pointer!
Wow really good chapter :) Poor Harry...drinking away his pain...*ahem* Anyway, I can't wait for more!
Really good start...so far, it seems like it should be put in the Dark/Angsty section, but I trust that you'll find a way to turn it into a good romance fic. I can't wait to see where you take it next, update soon :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I never thought of putting it in Dark/Angsty, because I started out with a romance in mind, but reading back over it, it does seem to fit into that category!
