Hey everyone,
I'm Molly, a fifteen year old US chic with a fettish for Harry Potter. I love writing about the Marauder Era since the mastermind JK has not written more then a few chapters about James and Lily's Hogwarts Days.
I hope you like my writing, and if not, why the heck are you reading my profile? All constructive criticism is welcome if you have any tips or pointers.
Disclaimer: My name is Molly, not JK Rowling, I repeat I'm Molly, not JK Rowling. All right that's clear. If you recognise it, it's not mine.
Now let the words flow...
Lily by Secret Lily
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 479]
Summary:
Lily Evans is not the sort of girl who would normally be found writing in a diary. Yet, when she starts, she finds that the easiest way to overcome all the obstacles in life is to let her emotions out onto paper.
I just want to let you know, this is one of my favorite fics that I've ever read! Keep up the good work.
Marie-Antoinette by Tinn Tam
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 229]
Summary: Runner-up for the QuickSilver Quills Award, categ. Best Alternate Universe
“No matter the time or place, people should never call their child Marie-Antoinette. There is no happiness in this world for a girl called Marie-Antoinette.”
1983. In a world where Voldemort has won the First War, where hope has fled from an Earth moaning under the Dark Lord's iron hand, marriages are broken and others are arranged in order to preserve the sacred purity of blood. James Potter loses his wife; now they have to find another for him.
Really, really good chapter. I liked that she didn't always have the perfect come back for Bellatrix. It made her much more human. I also really liked the bit from Bellatrix's point of view. It was interesting to change views for a bit.
Wow. Just one word to describe this story, amazing. You really have a knack for writing. I felt like I was Marie Antoinette for a while there. I have to say though, I really want her to yell at James for being such a jerk. He's so obnoxious, obviously she didn't want to marry him either and he's just, grrrr! Update soon, I can't wait to read more.
Nuttier Than A Fruitcake by Secret Lily
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 227]
Summary: Book Two in the 'Lily' series, Nuttier Than A Fruitcake, portrays Lily's fifth year at Hogwarts, a time filled with hormones, confusion, and of course, run ins with the ever obnoxious, James Potter.
Yay, Logan Johnson's back. I liked him, even if he is boring. I hope he gets more interesting, it'd be cool if he showed up again later on.
Haha, I love this story, possibly even more then I loved Lily. Keep up the good writing.
The Curtain Call by Amelia Bedelia
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 420]
Summary: James and Lily spend their summers together producing plays, though neither are happy about the presence of the other. With James, as the set designer, and Lily, as the actress, tensions run high.
That was so sweet. I really hope Lily was actually awake and she head him. That would be so adorable, unless she got all scared and ruined it.
Author's Response: No, I\'m sorry to say... Lily was not awake and she did not hear James. :) Sorry!
Thank you for reviewing!
Yours truly,
Amelia Bedelia
Oh my, James and his mother are quite funny. I wonder what that sealed envelope was on Lily's bed. Something important I'll bet.
Author's Response: Haha, yes, they\'re quite amusing... I have really enjoyed writing James\' parents in this story! When I write Lily\'s parents, they tend to be boring, so I\'m glad you like them so much! :D
Thanks for the review!
Yours truly,
Amelia Bedelia
Oh my, that's not good. I feel so bad for James, I was so worried he'd find out Lily never said anything to her friends about him.......and now he did, and I wouldn't blame him for hating her guts forever. But then we'd never have a Harry so I guess he'll forgive her :D
Oh, that was a really cute chapter. So they're finally going to make friends. Hm, I think something's going to happen at the last minute and James will play the theif guy. That would be pretty cliche but still really cute.
Author's Response: Thanks! Yes, they\'re friends... but you\'ll have to wait and see if your theory is right!
Thank you for the review!
Yours truly,
Amelia Bedelia
Uh! Why won't Lily tell her friends whats up? She's really annoying me. James + Lily = Harry aka LIFE
Author's Response: Stupid Lily... She\'s may be book smart, but not when it comes to James, huh? :D\r\n\r\nThanks for the review!\r\n\r\nYours truly,\r\nAmelia Bedelia
Yaya, I love Sirius! I was wondering if he'd show up in the story at all.
Author's Response: Yep, he showed up! :D Also, I think he pops in towards the end, as well... but depending upon how it goes, he might show up more than that!
Thanks for reviewing!
Yours truly,
Amelia Bedelia
I really liked the bit about the French Minister of Magic in the feather dress. It was really well placed to add a bit of humor.
Author's Response: Yes, well... I imagined the outfit on the person without really realizing I had. Then I started to actually describe the person\'s outfit and realized just how messed up my imagination can get sometimes! Haha! But I had a laugh writing it! :D
Thanks for the review!
Yours truly,
Amelia Bedelia
That was so cute. I love the girl that Lily was signaling to. And camping is so much fun. Next chapter's going to be great I bet.
Author's Response: Oh, I sure hope the camping chapter would be great! :D I actually loved writing about it... When I wrote it, I had just come back from a camping trip myself and I had all sorts of things that happened to me that I was able to put in! It was a ton of fun to write!
Thanks for reviewing!

Light Up My Life by KASK
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 163]
Summary: Norah Kelley was the one James had always seen himself with. They had been together forever and he loved her. Lily Evans, on the other hand, was the one girl he truly loathed.
But in fifth year, with a changing outlook on life and problems finally surfacing at home, James and Lily began to a friendship. Both known for hating each other, they agreed to keep their friendship quiet.
But as things progress, James comes to find that he can't have everything and a decision has to be made. With this decision, James learns that what you expect isn't always what happens and love can spout from unexpected places.
This is told from James' POV.
I really like that this is in James's POV. Usually fics are all in Lily's eyes so it's a pretty nice change. I can't wait till James really falls for Lily, it'll be hilarious! Keep writing.
Author's Response: I noticed a lot of people write from Lily\'s POV too. I don\'t know why, I\'m having so much fun writing from James\'s POV! And I definitely will keep writing. I already have a bit written! :D Thank you!
Oh man. Lily's dating Snape? Yuck!
Author's Response: Hehe, or is she?
I loved it, but now I wonder what has Lily so upset. I assume family proublems, but you never know, or I suppose I never know, you do since your the author...
okay, I'll stop now.
Author's Response: Hehe, it\'ll come out eventually!
Oh my, Norah actually fought with James, how new! I feel so bad though, I know it's going to end badly and I feel awful for Norah.......Lily's a homewrecker.
Author's Response: Ah, yes, but things can always end happy for everyone. :]
Yay, they finally like each other, its pretty exciting. Good chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you!
