Summary: Six years ago, on a sunny afternoon after the end of the war, Ronald Weasley slipped out of 12 Grimmauld Place for ten minutes, to get some fresh air. He never returned. Now, his sister Ginny writes a letter to her lost brother.

When someone goes missing, you hope with all your heart that that person is still alive. And itís the hope that destroys you.

There is an answer of course, somewhere out thereÖ even if sometimes, it seems like there canít possibly be. Six years ago something happened to Ronald Weasley on a bright, happy day, when it seemed nothing could possibly go wrong. That's the thing about bright, happy days - they can fool you.

Wow. That was a truly amazing story. Very well written, great descriptions of all of the emotions. It's wonderful, great job! Keep writing!

Author's Response: I\'m happy you enjoyed it and that you think I got the descriptions right. I was a bit worried. :)

Summary: One Shot. Ron POV. Angsty.

"I never thought that I would be the one to survive this war. I had always imagined myself the first casualty. I imagined myself diving in front of a bolt of green light for one of my friends. For I am no one important and never have been. Not brilliant like Hermione or brave like Harry, I am ordinary. I am expendable. "

"I never told her how I felt about her. How I could stare at her for ages, fight with her forever, love her for eternity and itíd never be enough. But I was too late. Iíd missed my chance. "
