I am in the process of adding my stories back onto the site! I have done a little editing and some won't make it back here, but what does... and what I write from now on hopefully will pass your high standards!
I have done some tweaking to the chapters of Fawkes' Gifts and am now having to have them beta'd again. Please bear with me as this takes time between postings.
If you need to contact me, try PMing me on the forum.
Oh, I was astonished to find out that Hedwig's Tale was Podcasted! How cool is that? Thank you so much mudbloodproud for the nomination and thank you so much to Wendy/kiley the Mermuggle who read it so wonderfully.
The end of the story, but so much to look forward to. I really enjoyed your version of what happened and I would like to thank you for writing it. Most of all I liked the way you balanced the hard parts with humor and levity. When I started this I thought it would be like so many others, but you surprised me. When it came down to it, you allowed the Ďlesserí characters to take the front seat and do what needed to be done. I am now off to read the other stories you have written and I hope they are as good as this one.
This was a very good first chapter. I went to read the companion piece halfway through the third paragraph. It seemed to call for it.
The feelings Harry has for Ginny and the way things seem to be going for them is so complex, I canít wait to see how they play out.
Wanting to go alone to get and destroy the last horcrux is definitely something Harry would try to do. Just knowing they were safe and alive would help him make it back to them.
Keeping the horcruxes a secret from everyone but Ron and Hermione doesnít explain why Harry was talking in the fire to Lupin about where one might be. I wonder if telling Ron about Kings Cross was a mistake or if he was laying a false trail.
I guess Iíll have to read the next chapter to find out.
See you there.
Very well written, and I have to say, I was glad to see Severus. He is one of my favorite characters, and I have always said he was a good guy. I like the way Harry seems to be stronger in this fic, than most people write him. Too many authors write him as a boy, and forget heís growing up and faces his obstacles very bravely.
You did an amazing job on this chapter and I canít wait to see what happens in the next one. See you there.
Who ever would have thought Harry and Malfoy, working together? Of course Harry made sense, Dumbledore wouldíve wanted him to help, and he already knows what itís like to lose his parents. I canít imagine he would wish that on even Malfoy.
Snape is a little ambiguous, but then again, when has he ever just said anything straight out?
Another great chapter, and I am on to the next.
I wonder if someone else helped boost the strength of that Cruciatus curse. Somehow I canít see Draco having that much power, even if he does hate Harry. I canít wait to see where this goes next, though I wonder where Snape took hisself off to. Guess I need to read the next chapter to find out. See you there.
I can't wait to see who all from the DA shows up to help. It would be a real good thing if all of them came, but I don't think I'll hold my breath for that. See you at the next one.
I liked the fighting and you did a great job on it. I hope Tonks will be all right, and the rest of the Order. I was joking when I said something about the entire DA showing up, but I guess you werenít kidding around when you said the reinforcements were coming.
See you at the next one.
I really loved the way the twins were about naming things. It was hilarious. I always thought they would make a joke at any time, just to relieve the tension.
Putting Neville in charge was such a Harry thing to do, and I loved it. Neville only lacks confidence, and when faced with the possibility of death his true courage comes through.
Great job on this one and I canít wait to see if that was a death twitch or if Bella is alive. See you there.
The A/N at the end pretty much summed up my experience with this chapter. I really wanted to not like you or the story anymore when you killed Padma, but I know in every war there are casualties. Hagrid and Grawp showing up was very well done. I liked Grawp calling out for Hermy. That was a nice touch. See you at the next one.
My major flaw is, I hate to wait for updates. So I guess itís a good thing I started reading this after you finished it. So far I am impressed, and I think having Draco bitten was plausible. I want to see what happens next so see you there.
I really wish this were one long chapter, instead of having to stop all the time to leave a quick note and then on to the next.
Anyway, I was relieved to see Peter kill Greyback, and Severus return. With Bella being her usual self, I really was glad to see Neville stand up and do what he needed to. I know he will be haunted by it forever, but sometimes bad things happen to good people, and having to kill her seems to fit that category.
Severus died and all were sad, crazy thought. But as I said earlier, I have always thought he would turn out to be on Harryís side. Glad you saw him that way too.
See you at the next one.
I will reserve this review for after I read ch. 12.
Not sure how you did it, but excellent job! You actually reversed it, and surprised the heck out of me in the process.
I canít really think of what else to say except, are you sure you arenít J.K.R. writing incognito? Just a thought.
I only review at the final chapter of any fanfic I read. I apologize if you would rather I review all chapters. The ending was a really good one and I applaud your ability to put strife in what should have been smmoth sailing after Voldemorts defeat. Keep up the good work. I am off to read your other fanfics now.
I usually donít like song fics, because I like the stories more than the songs that interrupt them. I like this song though, so I could skip the lyrics and enjoy the story. I was playing the song in my head as background music to it.
You did a great job working the two of them into the situation needed for this to work, and I am looking forward to reading more, if you decide to write another. Sequel or other, doesnít matter, as long as you do it as well as you did this one.
This story was in turns, touching, hilarious, disturbing, and romantic. Thank you for an entertaining read. The sequel is also good, so far anyway.
This could have been pulled from any book written by the top writers of the day. I really believed what you were writing and to me that is the mark of a great writer.
You had tears rolling on my face, and only one other author on this site has managed that.
Thank you for writing this, I really think you nailed the emotion he would feel at that time.
If this story isn't worthy of a Canon? What Canon? award, I don't which one is. I laughed all the way through it and the absolute complete role reversals of everyone is just hilarious. Excellent job, I don't think I've ever read anything that got so much to be so different without it seeming forced. Thanks for the laughs!
I have really enjoyed all of the intertwined stories that you have written. Ellie is a great character and Harry deserves to have someone like that in his life.
If you write the "ten-chapter fic" I am sure everyone would say thank you for another enjoyable read.
It was full moon when the Dark Lord sealed a part of his soul within a magical amulet, and then broke it in half. One half was left to the faithful werewolves to guard. The other half was tossed into the impenetrable depths of time where no one but him could get it. When the first half has been found, the Order of the Phoenix selects Hermione Granger to go back into the past to search for the missing piece. What is waiting for her is a brutal task that will test her beyond her limits, and an undying love that extends beyond the boundaries of time.
No werewolves were harmed in the making of this story.
Update (9 May): Chapter 17, Burning, is up! Enjoy!
Knowing how much pain Remus has to go through every month, I was glad Hermione showed compassion for his injury and him not wanting another scar. I wonder who sill bring it up first though. Will he tell her heís a werewolf or will she tell him she figured it out?
You wrote James perfectly. I loved the way you wrote him in previous chapters, arrogant and full of mischief, even in the face of everything going on in the world. But the scene with him coming to get Harry was perfect. Thank you for not allowing the Ďsmart-alecky, arroganceí to come into that moment.
Hermione and Remus seem to be working their way towards something. I wonder how long it will take for them to figure it out.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention, the talk between Harry and Ron was very well done, but I think when Hermione comes back, Ron might be in for a big shock.
See you at chapter eight.
