No, I do not actually have violet eyes. They are hazel, in fact.
Hi :). I absolutely LOVED your story, especially the way that the letters home from Cassandra were interspersed throughout it. They added to the journeying aspect of the story really well.
Journeys end in lovers meeting...
This is such a perfect quote to put at the beginning of the story. Although I didn't notice it at first, it was brilliant foreshadowing of what was to come. It can be taken quite literally, too, because the story does, in fact, end with "lovers meeting."
Little Albus is adorable! It's quite funny, because the way you write him as a child is nothing like the way he is as an adult. Besides the fact that he showed that he was rather intelligent as a child, as his is as an adult, he is so different from his older self. I'm glad that you wrote him as being extremely curious; it does make sense that he would be a curious youngster :).
I am going to have to say, though, that my favorite character is Cassandra (which would make sense, since she is kind of the main character). She is so strong-willed and capable of so much, which was very rare for a woman at that time. This is also interesting, because as Sibyll Trelawney's grandmother (she is her grandmother, right?), she's pretty down-to-earth :P.
Last thing (I promise!) -- the way you worked the Grecian culture into the story was truly amazing. You definitely knew what you were talking about when you wrote it, and it seemed like you did a good amount of research on it.
Overall, it was amazing, dahling. Keep up the awesome work!
Hey, guess what? Your sister told me to read your fan fic, so I did :). It was so good! Ron and Hermione are by far my favorite couple in the series and your characterizations of them were right on. And I might have cried just a little bit... *pushes up dorky glasses* :P.
Author's Response: Hey Allie! Thanks so much for your responce! I know how serious about HP you are, so a response about Ron and Hermione like that from you means so much to me!! Thanks again for reading and responding! (now get to writing something of your own, so i can read and respond!! ;o) Thanks again!
Great job on this chapter, Sara! I absolutely looooved the dialogue among the characters... you seem to have a real gift at that :). They're all so funny! I have to say, though, Brandon's probably my favorite out of the four. He's just so lovable, I can't help it!
The only thing I want to pick on is that I think you might've given too much background information for the first chapter. It would probably be better if we readers discovered a few new things about each of the four every chapter, just so their histories weren't all lumped into one. Am I making sense? But maybe that's just my personal preference...
Again, great job, and now I'm going to go read the rest of the chapters :).
Author's Response: Thankiesss so much!! And for the critique too~ *randomly loves critique* Someday, many many years from now, when I have finished this story, I will rewrite it using all of the advice I\'ve ever gotten. XDD I\'m so glad you liked it! =)
Yay! Good job... i love it :).
Author's Response: Hey, but aren\'t you biased?! Thanks. Love, Miss H
