Summary: A slightly twisted, but highly realistic, possibly humorous, and very late, look at the Marriage Law Challenge. Mentions character deaths (but not HG or SS) and has some possible squickiness in passing that results in an "R" Rating. No house-elves were harmed in the writing of this ficlet, who I cannot say the same of Cornelius Fudge, Minister of Magic.

The door opened. Casper Crabbe and Godfrey Goyle walked in, carrying large bouquets of red roses.
“As Minister Fudge cleared these two of Death Eater crimes, they both decided to bid for him,” Snape revealed, a malicious gleam in his eyes."

Once again you have written a beautiful piece of art! I don't think I can forgive you for killing off Saxon though. He was so adorable! And then you had Severus leave! Anyway the fanfic was wonderful.... (still can't believe that you killed off poor lil Saxon!) Great job once again!
Author's Response: Ah, yes, Saxon... there was a reason behind that. Can you think of any thing else more painful than losing a child and thinking it was your fault? A possible reason to why Snape is the way he is, and why he is so harsh with Harry, et al (besides his grudge against James). Saxon would have been in their year.

This story is now complete, and presents an alternate ending to Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince, in which Harry learns more than he could have ever imagined about Professor Snape and Professor Dumbledore. He must abandon many of his old convictions and come to an understanding of a new and different reality before setting out on his final journey to vanquish Lord Voldemort in Book Seven.
