Summary: The war is on and the only person with the power to stop Voldemort's second reign of terror is sulking alone in a cold, dark room. The unexpected arrival of an old school chum in Privet Drive jolts him to action, however, as Harry begins his most exciting year at Hogwarts. Year 6 will include a visit to the ancient village of Godric's Hollow; a first hand account of the 1000 year old quarrel that ripped Hogwarts apart; a Fred and George-style farewell to a certain ex-Minister of Magic; and the discovery of the Half-Blood Prince, a mysterious figure who holds the key to winning the war...
(And, as J.K. says, what's life without a little romance?)
Wow this was one of the best chapter's i have read to date continue the good work Friend.
Summary: There was once a goofy movie called Clue with a plot that was based on a board game. This movie had several possible endings that were all implausible but they were fun and entertaining. This little yarn is an alternative ending of the Harry Potter series and is offered in the same spirit of fun and entertainment.
Of course with themes like love and death it’s not all laughs.
This story begins in the summer before Harry’s sixth year. I began writing it months before reading HBP so you’ll have to accept that just about everything in my version of the HP universe is different from JKR’s HP universe. (Pretend HBP didn’t happen.)
In my story Hermione has loved Harry since her third year at Hogwarts. She is terrified by the war. If she doesn’t grow up quickly, she might not grow up at all. Since Harry is over his infatuation with Cho Chang, Hermione makes her move and she pulls out all of the stops. Expect some extreme behavior from a girl who throws herself at a project and is under a lot of stress. She still cares deeply about S.P.E.W.
- Having never heard of a Horcrux, I devised another source of Voldemort’s immortality.
- I don’t like Professor Snape, but I’m not bold enough to make him a real Death Eater.
- There is a war on and characters are killed, wounded and tortured, but not Dumbledore.
- I’ve made Ron into a much more confident and serious character than the books.
This is based on three ideas: war is like chess and Ron excels at that, contact with the brain in the DoM could make Ron more thoughtful, and hanging around with a manly man who works with dragons like Charlie Weasley could help any boy grow up.
WOW!!!!! what an awsome story one of the best that i have read please continue to write more.
Summary: This story is a sequel to an earlier story of mine called: Harry Potter and the Needed One. You will need to read that one first for this one to make sense. Harry learns that Hermione loves him and admits that he loves her. Unfortunately Harry has a lot of powerful enemies and an awful job that he must do. Harry must become a killer or a victim and he doesn't want a girlfriend. Hermione learns a horrible truth about the Fifth Horcrux. She must help Harry in his quest to destroy Voldemort and at the same time keep Harry alive.
sounds like you need to make another one.....i am a sap for these kind's of storys
Author's Response: Hi agent007! Thanks for the nice review! I actually am working on a sequel. Harry and Hermione make an interesting couple. They work well together and bounce ideas off each other in a meaningful way.
Summary: Harry is growing up and into his own. With new friends and old by his side, he battles against the dark forces, and embarks on a mission to know the power the Dark Lord knows not. Meet new characters and creatures and wander down new twists in this alternative version of Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts.
???? what in the world it seems like you need to do another story or somethin becasue the ending to this one dont make much since.
Summary: [Year 2: Complete] Its Harry’s second year as a Slytherin, and the Chamber of Secrets has been opened. The Heir of Slytherin is out there somewhere, having students petrified left and right, and by the end of the year someone will die from Slytherin’s horrible beast. But this time, Harry's the one with Riddle's diary.
How will Harry’s years at Hogwarts turn out, now that he's a Slytherin? Will he turn to the Dark Arts and be a follower of Voldemort? Or will he kill Voldemort, or die trying, after he learns of the prophecy? Will Harry's choices lead him down a different road? Follow and you will see...
“What is a diary as a rule? A document useful to the person who keeps it, dull to the contemporary who reads it, invaluable to the student, centuries afterwards, who treasures it.” –Ellen Terry
