Summary: George Weasley was lonely. It was an odd feeling, because George was never alone. He shared an apartment with his twin, but as of late even his relationship with Fred had been strained. Crediting his sudden change in behavior to a "mid-life crisis several decades too early," George embarks upon a journey of self-discovery, and he finds a kindred spirit in an also-lonely Hermione Granger. During his search, George hopes to find himself as well as the person meant to be his other half. George/Hermione
Warning mostly due to some swearing and innuendo in later chapters.
This story is now finished! Thanks to everybody who read!
:'( *sniffles* that was trés sad, but I'm glad Fred just let him in without a word of question or accusation...yet. loved it, keep it up! :D

Sadie's younger sister is pretty, adorable, cute, and uses these characteristics to cover up the fact that she's a nasty little brat. oooooooooh, is sadie going to turn out to be a Seer or something? loved this chapter and i simply adore the ring idea, brilliant blue and white with horses, very pretty image =D

One man’s deepest wish. One year that will change both their lives…forever.
wow...i mean wow! i cried. you are amazing at writing and superb at writing battle scenes. please update soon because that was ace!
Author's Response: Omg, things so much. You cried? I don\'t quite understand why, but maybe I do. I mean, during the end of the battle scene I was choking up and trying to tell myself \"I will NOT cry for Mordecai. He is scum!\" But I think it was more because of what that night meant for people like Mrs. Zell and Shiloh. Thanks so much for saying I was good at writing battle scenes. To be honest they are my favorite thing to write. They are just so fun! Anyways, thanks so much for reading and reviewing! Next chapter should be coming fairly soon!
oooooh loving this chapter! i really hope George, and of course Fred, use their mischevious ways to discover who Shadow really is!...and soon too :P
Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked it so well, but you might have to wait awhile for that particular discovery.

“It’s our rule not to dredge up past things, remember?”This rule is about to be broken.
~Inspired by a worldwide beloved film.
Well Lucius and Narcissa have certainly changed! I was really surprised, but I like it, it's as if the French air has changed them completely so slightly OoC but you can see how it could have happened. I do love the amount of power Callie has over her family.
And yes it's good to change it other wise we should all just watch the film and be done with it!
Author's Response: I hope I haven\'t changed them much, Chloe! Just a bit. ^_^ Yes, I love Callie\'s sway, too! Thank you very much for reading my stories and reviewing them, hon!
Summary: All may be well for those in league with Harry Potter, but this is certainly not the case for those who supported Lord Voldemort. Rodolphus Lestrange flees from Hogwarts shortly after his lord's demise in the battle . . . but he can't ever flee her, no matter how far gone she might physically be.
Character Death warning is for a death that happened in canon, and the Mental Disorders warning is just to be safe.
that was a really good story, I mean I actually empathised with old rudy, and thought it was sad Bella had gonew, you are a very persuasive writer.
I love the way you made her sound normal, and almost sweet before her time in azkaban.
Author's Response: Well, Bella can\'t always have been completely insane, there must have been at least traces of a normal human. Thank you for your kind review!
Summary: The Christmas after the Battle of Hogwarts is a battle in itself. The blackness of grief, the sound of tears and the taint of guilt and sorrow is a stark and ugly contrast to the backdrop of snow, carols, love and joy.
But one cannot grieve and live at the same time. And one realises it doesn’t really take much to go back to living after grieving: love thaws all sharp icicles the way spring has never yet broken its promise of driving away winter.~LucillaJoanna of Hufflepuff believes Seasons Change and avows it with this entry to the Winter Tales Challenges.
~Dedicated to Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, who intimately knows grief and will successfully befriend it, too.
aww that was really sweet, I love the way you get a hold on her grief so well, the way you want to just sob randomly because of little things that remind you of what you've lost, bravo indeed!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you think so, Chloe. Thank you! ^_^
Summary: Non-compliant with both HBP and DH. An annoying event causes Hermione to choose to spend the Christmas break in seventh year away from her best friends, but Dumbledore feels she needs someone to watch over her. How will Hermione react to the appearance of the Potions master on her doorstep -- and how will they interact when cooped up alone together for days on end2006 SS/HG Winter Exchange on Live Journal, for the prompt: A weekend alone for Hermione in the Granger?s residence. Suddenly the Potions master turns up on her door step. For whom the bell rings, it rings for you.
oh wow! i mean...bloody hell. that was so moving, i loved the begining when he was in complete denial, and the playful banter between them and finally their love making, it was a superb chapter and i cant wait for your next update!
i think everyone wants snape for christmas, espesh after your story *purrrrs*

Summary: The battle is fought, the war is won--but no victory ever comes cheap. Join Alice, Andromeda, Ginny, Narcissa, Luna, Molly, and Hermione as they discover the cost of war.
EDIT: I'm back! And I am SO SORRY I was gone so long. There is absolutely no excuse for making you wait almost three years for an update. *hides from angry reviewers* The next chapter is in the queue!
I loved both of the chapters, but definitely this one the best, and I can't wait for the rest!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you like this chapter. I was afraid people wouldn\'t, as it is so different from the first, all you reviewers have allayed my fears. Thank you very much, and hopefully I\'ll have the rest ready to put up by the time the queue opens!
Rose was a Weasley. She never gave Scorpius Malfoy a second glance. They were sworn enemies, even though they’d barely even spoken to each other. But sometimes all it takes for love to blossom is a Potions lesson, a few snide remarks and a dropped book.
Two people. Two entirely different worlds that are suddenly intertwined.
i loved it! just read the whole thing up until now - only one word for you.... UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE i really can't wait for the rest of the story :D well written :)
Author's Response: You read the whole thing? Wow. :D I'm so pleased you're enjoying it, and I'll try to update as soon as possible!
Summary: “But I want to go home,” whispered the girl. “I don’t want to fight anymore”
Not everyone who fought in the Battle of Hogwarts wanted to be there, and not everyone survived. This is the story of one of those people.
i was sobbing by the end of that - bravo!
Author's Response: thanks for the review - I\'m glad you like it, though I\'m sorry I made you cry!
Lindsey Tonks appears to be a normal, almost invisible Hogwarts student, but underneath her is someone far from normal. What the world doesn't know is that Lindsey is the daughter of two well-known imprisoned Death Eaters, and has an identity she must hide from the world. Underneath Lindsey is a girl named Lyra Lestrange, a girl who is meant to be a secret forever. But will it last forever?
*Begins in GoF and follows the series through DH.
**Will appeal to fans of the Black family! Prominent characters are Bellatrix, Tonks, Andromeda, Sirius, and (to an extent) Narcissa.
Part Four Synopsis:
It's the summer after Albus Dumbledore's death, and the whole world is falling to Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Broken-hearted Lyra, unable to return to Hogwarts, must go into hiding with her family. It doesn't last long, and eventually Lyra is faced with a choice: join or die. Lyra's decision comes with many surprises, including a new ally who follows her to the final battle of good versus evil. While Lyra's path may seem clear, she finds herself torn between two sides for the final time, and in the end, despite tragedy and loss, Lyra accomplishes the impossible...which defies all of the agreements she and her family ever made.
Three years later, the fic has been completely finished! Enjoy reading it without having to wait for new chapters. Thanks to those who patiently waited and faithfully reviewed!
Bloody Hell!!! so she inherited more than looks from her mother then. perhaps she subconsciously retained memories from when she was young about how evil her parents were?
great chapter...yet so short in length :(
cant wait for an update! =D
Author's Response: Yes, she definitely inherited more than looks! You'll find out later whether or not she acts on that. I've submitted chapter 6, so the update shouldn't take too long. Thanks for reviewing!
Summary: "Those who are faithless know the pleasures of love; it is the faithful who know love's tragedies." -Oscar Wilde
Lily didn't always love James. There was a man she loved before James, a man she loved during. See the desperate journey of Lily Evans' heart from the beginning of her Seventh year, when the person she least expected is named Head Boy.
MORE more more!!! I need more, a very promising START (notice start lol). I love the tone that has been set, and I'd love to see what Remus thinks about Lily!
PS I think it's safe to say I want you to carry on this story!
Summary: Isla was born into a well-known and respected family: the Blacks. She grew up with their traditions and was proud to be who she was – until she met someone who showed her that what she knew was not the only world.
Follow a young witch through her teenage years and discover how a traditional one will change and rebel against what she believed was the only truth.
ooooh *shivers* theres is something wonderful yet sinister about Savaric. I simply adore this story! keep up the good work :D
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Chapter nine is already with my beta, and I expect it returned any day now. Watch out for it.
Summary: A person from Remus's past returns to his life, someone with whom he has a very personal history. How will she affect his relationship with Tonks? Who will he choose? And what will happen that turns everyone's lives upside down?
AAAAAAAAAAAh!!!! what was that?!?!?!...was so utterly engrossed...author so utterly cruel!....gah!!! who was it????
*is speechless*...hooked on suspense....bluergh!
phew, well, i loved (and absolutely hated) how Remus rejected her, he did it so cruelly, getting her hopes up by saying how happy he was with her and then dashing them when he said 'loved' not love, cruel cruel man!. i think we've all been rejected badly at one point or another and its just the pits. how will she apologise to Tonks? will Tonks still be as bubbly with her afterwards or bitter? hmmm.... the plot thickens...
well, as you can probably tell, i love this story, im always intrigued about Remus' Hogwarts girlfriends as we dont hear much about them in the fanfic world. annnnnnnyways, well done you evil suspensful author and i obviously cant wait for the next chapter =D
Author's Response: haha I am cruel, aren't I? I'm glad you liked the chapter. I tried to pull in that feeling that most everything has experienced at some point... the rejection. It's rough, isn't it? Poor Kate. We'll see how this goes, wont we? Thanks for reviewing!
Im liking the new character! shy but confident in her own surroundings, should be interesting, and i also can't wait until she meets Remus, gotta know the history there!
Author's Response: I\'m still working on the nuances of Kate\'s character. I want her to stay shy, but not irritatingly so! Your description is exactly what I was going for. Thanks for the great review!
Winner of the 2008 Quick Silver Quills Award for Best General Story.
The first book in the Alexandra Quick series.
The war against Voldemort never reached America, but all is not well there. When 11-year-old Alexandra Quick learns she is a witch, she is plunged into a world of prejudices, intrigue, and danger. Who wants Alexandra dead, and why?
This story is canon-compliant with the Harry Potter universe, but the characters and settings are all original. I've put a lot of work into envisioning a world as detailed as the original series; I hope you enjoy it.
OH MY GOD!!!!!!! oh wow.
i cant imagine how disapointed everyone will be with Alex (as its far worse than anger) and poor poor Anna! wow I almost cried!!!
and you, are tres tres tres and sehr evil to leave us with that cliffhanger! please update soon!
oh my gosh, and i cant believe it wasn't thiel but journey instead!!!
i must say you have written this extremely well as i didn't suspect a thing about journey, i just believed everything that alexandra did, and that of course is the mark of a fantastic writer.
