I fell in love with Jo Rowlings world years ago, when I was 11. The first book I read was Chamber of Secrets, mostly because I didn't know Sorcerer's Stone existed. I love everything about the books, although...I've always hated Pettigrew. If his character wasn't such an important part of the storyline I think Jo would have been better off without him.
I do love the fanfics though, and much as I will deny it, I'm completely enamored with any sort of romance fics, especially Dramione and James/Lily. I appreciate Jo pairing up Ron and Hermione, but in my head Draco fits her better. I'm strange like that.
I never thought, when I first joined the site, that I'd ever write any sort of fic. I've always loved to write, but finishing a story isn't one of my strong points.
Summary: ‘Didn’t I, didn’t I, didn’t I see you cryin’?
It’s the graduation party of Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Weasley, and he’s trying to win her once and for all. How is he going to do that? And how will she react?
‘Didn’t you, didn’t you, didn’t you see me smilin’?
Adorable! The song is one of my favorites, and I love how wonderfully you weaved it in here. Fabulous! :D
Author's Response: Thank you!
On a late September evening, two close friends discover a new meaning in their relationship… Charlie Weasley/Original Character, one-shot.
Thank you to my Jenna/GringottsVault711 for her beta work.
Awww...I LOVE Charlie--he's by far my favorite character, and this story was soo stinking sweet...I loved it! Really, really great! :D
Summary: Sequel to "An Aversion to Change."
It's Voldemort's world now: a world of corruption, betrayal, greed, and violence. A world of evil thoughts and evil deeds, where no one can be trusted, especially those closest to you.
But through it all, there must be strength. There must exist those who will stand up to totalitarian rule, who will say no when others submit, who must survive despite their condition. There must exist the resilient.
Eventual Draco/Hermione with plenty of plot. Very dark, so read at your own risk!
I haven't been able to stop reading this since I discovered it last night. I absolutely ADORE Dramione ships, and your story...it's utterly addicting. I don't even think there's words for what I'm thinking right now. That probably sounds lame, but there it is. There aren't many stories that make me cry, but this has been one of them. I ache for Hermione. I want to smack both her and Draco upside the heads and tell them to stop being idiots. The tension between them is delightful, in a strange way. Even before Draco showed up, the hints in Hermione's memories drew me in completely. I have to know how this ends now. Absolutely have to. You're doing such an amazing job with this; I can't wait for the next chapter. :)
Author's Response: We are all fools in love. Draco and Hermione are no exception. ;) I'm so happy you like it, though! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!
Summary: After the war, Hermione returns to Hogwarts to complete her seventh year of studies as Head Girl, only to find Draco Malfoy has been appointed Head Boy. Her life is further complicated by the fact that Headmistress McGonagall is strongly encouraging Malfoy and her to attend one of the three wizarding universities in Europe after they graduate from Hogwarts. The story starts HG/RW, but the focus is on the development of HG/DM.
Perfection. Yep. That's the only word I can think of right now. :D
Author's Response: You are too kind! Seriously. I'm grateful that you read and enjoyed the story. Thank you, Jenny
Summary: Ginny had seen him at the bar, laughing with his mates. She didn’t even know that he was capable of laughter, or having mates.
Dedicated to Draco Malfoy, since it’s his birthday today (June 5th)! ^^ Happy 30th!
This was REALLY good! I loved the way you fit the 8-ball into the story; it's like this challenge was made specifically for the purpose of this story (I hope that makes sense, lol) :D
In her seventh year, Katie Bell knew what it was like to fear death. A year later, she learnt what it was like to see it in front of her. Nothing she had ever experienced had prepared her to deal with the aftermath of that. And then he came.
Caught in a whirlwind of Quidditch, heartbreak, and a rivalry, Katie struggled with her jumbled mess of feelings, one of which she hadn't expected but was growing certain that she could never live without.
Oh my freaking Salazar! This story WON TWO 2011 Quicksilver Quill Awards: Best Post-Hogwarts Story and Best Non-Canon Romance Story. *flail*
This (late) update was brought to you by the (belated) birthday of the ever-lovely Hannah / h_vic. She is a star and an excellent friend!
Am I allowed to slap Katie for being such an idiot?
I can't stop reading! I absolutely adore Oliver--he deserves a story of his own, especially one as amazing as this one. I'm already excited for the next chapter :D
Haha, these two are the ultimate 'it's complicated' situation. They're both a bit screwed up and spend a majority of their time pretending that they're not, but here and there, their ability to cope (not just Oliver) is not sufficient to get past certain relationship stressors.
I'm glad you enjoy the story, and thank you for reading and reviewing!
Ugh...can I PLEASE nudge Katie, none too gently, with her broom and slide her back over to Oliver? Is that allowed? :P
So excited to see this chapter up--I'm hanging on the edge of my seat here, always looking forward to what's coming next :)
Well, dear Katie needed this. She had never once had the thought that she had been taking advantage of Oliver's willingness to help her and simultaneously resenting him for it. All through the story, both of them rushed into this gigantic relationship, but all it took was a small disagreement and a broken cup for her to snap and realise that nothing was what she thought it was. Stay tuned, and we shall see where it leads our intrepid couple. :)
Thank you for reading and your continued support. :D
Summary: Sometimes the snow comes down in June, sometimes the sun goes ‘round the moon. Sometimes love happens like the pop of a balloon. And sometimes you learn to live with it before you learn you’re also nose-deep in it.
Love love LOVE!! I always get excited when you post new stories--this one was amazing, as always. I adore Hermione and Draco together :). This one was so funny though; I laughed at Lucius and Hermione's mom. Such an unexpected pairing, but still sweet and fitting. Great job!
Author's Response: Ooh, Mel! How are you? Thanks, thanks, thanks! Glad you liked it AND told me you liked it! Chapter 2 is next. Oh, duh. I mean, I'm about to post it, hehe.
“We pick with our fingers and eat with the same fingers. You realize we’re basically exchanging spit, don’t you?”
Summary: Ron and Hermione's marriage ends in failure. Hermione is resigned to the fate of her relationship with him, and attempts to find some independence and rekindle her Dumbledore's Army skills through a series of self defense classes. But she runs into her old Hogwarts nemesis, how will her romantic life take a different turn? How will her friends and family react?
And how will a distant and aloof Draco Malfoy learn to love and trust with Hermione's help?
Rated Professors for sexual situations. The story is mostly Deathly Hallows compliant, even considering the epilogue.
Perfection! Absolute perfection. I'm SUCH a sucker for Dramione fics, and this one was just amazing. I'm kinda sad I read it all in one go now--I should have savored it :D
