Silver haired (blond turned to gray actually) 60+ year old sad old man who loves HP Fanfics.
Remember Me by lookitsria
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 28]
Summary: Based on the combination of the Latin obliviscor, meaning "forget," and the Aramaic עַ‘ְ“ָא כְּ“ַ‘רָא, avda kedavra, meaning "what was said has been done," Oblivi Kedavra has the meaning “forget what has been done.”
After being struck by a home-made curse from Draco Malfoy, Hermione's mind is swept clean of any and all memories of Ron. Which is stronger? Love or revenge?
Bit short. The next chapter looks interesting.
P.S. We have "real estate agents" in England. Not "muggle realtors".
Love, Hogwarts by Amortentia Black
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 20]
Summary: Sirius, Remus, and Harry share memories and stories as they read through letters the Marauders and friends wrote to their future selves while at school.
Who is this Alice Longbottom? Frank's wife would have a different maiden name.
Author's Response: You're right- thanks for the catch. I meant for them to be talking about the current Alice Longbottom, but it wasn't so clear. I edited it.
Nice one.
Author's Response: Thank you!
After the Battle by ginny6142
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 21]
Summary: When Harry Potter defeated Voldemort, he made his way to Dumbledore's office without speaking to the girl he loved, knowing that they had a very long time to talk. Eventually, on his way back to his dormitory, he realizes that he can't avoid her forever.
This is a chaptered story that chronicles Harry and Ginny's journey as they recover from the separation and make their way to the epilogue.
A good precise of what happened. I hope you develope it a bit more originally.
Author's Response: This is very close to what JK wrote because it is close to the battle, but it will become more original. Thanks for reviewing!
High by Equinox Chick
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 208]
Summary:
Scorpius Malfoy is the Seeker for Slytherin. Not only that, he's the best Seeker at Hogwarts, and it's his catches that win matches. But this year things are different; Albus Potter has switched to Chaser and the new Gryffindor Seeker is his annoying little sister.
This is the story of how one match and one missed catch can change your life.
This story was accidentally deleted, so is being resubmitted ... very very quickly.
SQUEEEEE! High won the Best Next Generation QSQ award. Thank you so much for the everyone who has helped, either by beta'ing or encouraging me.
Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. I'm not sure who I am at the moment, but there must be some Arthur Weasley blood in me.
Thank you Natalie (hestiajones) for doing the vast majority of the beta work on this, and Apurva for work on the early chapters
Squish for Natalie, Jess, Kara and Bob for helping me sort this out.
Due to an archive hissy fit regarding any story with a rating about 3rd-5th, I have temporarily lowered the rating on this story. However, I have NOT changed the content. This story is still a 6th-7th. You click at your own risk.
What a great story. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I have a sequel planned (in my mind) I hope to have it written soon. ~Carole~

As the granddaughter of Sirius Black and Celeste Lovegood, Nimbus is used to the fame the name brings. However, being the only Ravenclaw in the family and being related to almost every great guy at Hogwarts is more annoying than her twin brothers.
When her abilities as a Seer give her an interesting glimpse at the past, she begins to question everything as she discovers a conspiracy and the history of a certain third-floor corridor, along with a romance that is forbidden in her eyes.
*This is the third part of The Secret Life of Scarlet Black series, but can be read alone.
There are some good characters in this story.
Remember the Slytherins by iLuna17
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 54]
Summary: There is a thin line between love and hate. There is an even thinner line between Gryffindor and Slytherin; the willingness to do anything to achieve their goals. Gryffindors cannot see the big picture, and if they come to a decision to choose between the greater good and their loved ones or himself, they would sacrifice the world for their friends.
Slytherins are different. We know the value of sacrifice, but there is something else that separates us from those who wear red and gold. We will fight as hard as we can, in any way possible, even if it may be seen as unjustified or morally wrong. Gryffindors let their consciences get in the way of the greater goal. We don’t, but no one believes that we can fight for the right cause. They remember us as the evil, idiotic, or simply power hungry. They don’t remember us for what we are; who we are. We’re here to change that.
They will remember us, and they will remember us as those who fought all prejudice and cruelty simply because were were done with it. They will remember us, and the next time they think of a phoenix rising from the ashes they will remember this phrase:
Remember the Slytherins.
Nominated in the 2012 QSQ Awards - Next Gen/OC for Nick.
This does not paint a very good picture of the wizard world in general. I will see how it develops.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! It will develop in time- both sides will be explained, and you can make the decision on your own. Keep in mind that Nick is *slightly* biased. :) Thank you, and keep reading!
Ellie
This makes for grim reading. I hope there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Author's Response: I know that it's a dark fic, and a completely happy ending is out of the question from how far off the cliff it's gone, but I promise there will be some good parts to come. Thanks for the review!

The Real Magic by goldensnidget92
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 31]
Summary:
This is a story about a love of books. It is a story about a boy and a girl united by this love.
Perhaps there's a reason why Hermione Granger values frienship so strongly. Perhaps there's a reason why Hogwarts: A History means so much to her. And perhaps there's more to her life before Hogwarts than we have been told.
This is her story.
This story was nominated for a Quicksilver Quill Award 2012: Best General Story!
I thought that was just a lovely story.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Paths to Platform 9 and ¾ - Year 2017, and Beyond by ntoforhp
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 37]
Summary: Voldemort is dead. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny have survived. Now, the young warriors have a future. They have dreams, and dreams cost nothing; however reality has its price. The path each chooses has twists, potholes, and detours. They find that life plays tricks on people. These issues have to be confronted before they make it Platform 9 and ¾ in 2017 and beyond.
Plenty going on in this chapter.
I think it should be "Greengrass", not "Greenglass". Still a good read.
Good for Hermione.
Glad that ended without tears.
Seems some people are happy.
The Accidental Family by Ruby Emeralds
Rated: 1st-2nd Years [Reviews - 88]
Summary: The fourth sequel to The Accidental Godmother showcases a variety of moments in the lives of the recently expanded Snape family.
This has been a really original series which I have enjoyed a lot. Only two more chapters. Have they ever thought about adopting? That could get us a whole new series.
Author's Response: I'm so happy to hear that you have enjoyed the series of "Accidental" stories. I have had a blast writing them and it's very fulfilling to know that someone out there also likes to read them! :) In response to your idea, I haven't considered having Celie and Severus adopting more children because I'm not sure that I could invent new scenarios for them to experience with more children. At this point, I am wanting to wind down the series, so that I can tackle new HP fanfic writing ideas, but I thank you for your excellent suggestion. Perhaps I'll want to return to the series at some point in the future; in case I do, I will hang on to your idea. Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)
