Very good transitional chapter. I liked that you had Ron break down a bit and that Ginny and his friends were supportive of him. I think it was good that even after Percy died, you show that the characters are still trying to deal with their loss. My only criticism is once again regarding the typos. Everything else is great!

Author's Response: I think part of Harry's problem in book five is that nobody had ever really taught him how to deal with loss so he did it the best way he could; by lashing out at those around him. I much prefer them all sitting around and actually talking about it. I really enjoyed writing the part with Ron. Thank you very much!

This was a really good chapter. I thought it was brilliant how you had Harry give Grimmauld Place to Remus and Tonks. I think it's too full of memories for him to ever feel really comfortable there himself. I only have one negative comment and I have to say it because it's my pet peeve - watch out for spelling errors, they really detract from the story. I'm sorry for sounding like Hermione....

This seemed like such a short chapter, but I really enjoyed it. I really hope Harry wins back Ginny soon, but I'm sure she won't make it easy for him!

Author's Response: It was short. A lot of my chapters are but there are a lot of chapters. I'm glad you liked it though.

I really liked this chapter. It flowed nicely and I think how your characters reacted was entirely plausible. I can completely see Harry breaking up with Ginny in order to protect her - with all of the horrors he's had in his life it's understandable. I do hope he comes to realize that he needs her as much as she needs him. Looking forward to your next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your reviews. It means a lot to me that you post and put constructive criticism in of what you liked and did not. That is invaluable.

First, you have my apologies for not reviewing in so long. Life's been hectic, but I am finally able to get back to my favorite stories. That said, good chapter. I knew that the Dark Mark over Hogsmeade had to be a trick to lure the teachers out of Hogwarts, but I liked that it was Pettigrew leading the way in. I also loved how Harry handled Malfoy. It shows his true character in not hurting him. My favorite line had to be Neville - "I believe it was the "Squib and Idiot" who caught you" - classic!

Author's Response: Well do I understand a hectic life! I've missed seeing you around but I'm glad that you're back! I've mentioned before that I asked people on the forums what I could do to get back at Malfoy for being evil and in the wake of Half-Blood Prince, if I had used some of the suggestions. . .let's just say that Malfoy would not be left whole right now. ;) Boy, do I love Neville. ;) Thanks for the review!

Well done. I have some of my own theories about Snape, even after the events in HBP, and I liked how you handled the situation with him in this chapter.

Author's Response: I just can't get over my love for Snape's character. He's so intricate and complex with his own journeying back and forth from good to evil, it's delightful. Thanks for the review!

Yay - you're back!!! Very sweet putting Neville and Luna at Madame Puddifoot's. They seem to belong together, don't they? Interesting twist on Cho's past. Are we going to find out more about her parents and how they died? The cliffie at the end was slightly evil, but really good!

Author's Response: I guess I'm one of those authors that wants every character to be happily involved with another character. In my fic, Neville and Luna weren't so important but I still wanted to have a little fun with them. As for Cho, I'm not quite sure how much her parents and all that were going to figure in to the story. It's not a huge plot point but I wanted to give Cho an excuse for how horrible she'd been to Harry. She'd lost people that she loved before and was having a difficult time with it was my excuse for it. Maybe JKR will give us a different one when the book comes out in three days! As for the cliffie, well, what did you expect from me? I have a nasty habit of giving people mental torture. lol

Very well done. My only negative comment is that there are a few typos, but that's it. This was a good lead up to the final chapter. I was really pleased that the DA will continue. Nice job.

Author's Response: Arg! The dreaded typos! I\'m glad that you liked it and there should be some DA action in the third story.

Poor Tonks. I'm glad there will be a happy event, but I am also glad that you chose to make it bittersweet. She is all alone and very scared. One thing I did find odd was what seemed like Harry and Ron's surprise that she would be crying. Her husband just passed away, so I though it was a bit odd the boys were so thick. Anyway, please update soon. I am enjoying the story.

Author's Response: It seems a couple people thought that the boys were a little too slow about it and that the girl's shouldn't have been so, "You don't know and can't know" to them. I'm gonna try to work with that a bit and see if I can't come up with a better solution. Thanks for the review, I mean to update today but I forgot to bring my story to school with me.

An excellent ending to a wonderful story. You really should be very proud of yourself. Writing a story is not easy, and you have done a admirable job. I'm looking forward to the sequel. One thing I have to wonder is Draco getting 20 yrs. It could make for an interesting story once he gets out...

Author's Response: Hey Czarina, nice to see you again. I chose to answer this one first to address a statement you made. For any people paying attention, assuming that my attention span stays, Draco will feature prominently in the third fic. That\'s right, third. At the moment it\'s six chapters long and hopefully I will stay with it as I really like where it is going. Thanks, Czarina, for all your great reviews!

I liked the theory of the blood brothers storyline, but I am cringing thinking of the dangers. Maybe in the magical world AIDS and hepatitis B don't exist, but I have to say it took away from the story for me. I did like that you voiced Harry's concern about the group growing apart and the uncertainty that they would all survive the war.

Author's Response: A lot of people felt strongly about me putting that in there, I'll have to put up a disclaimer(after I've finally got used to giving JKR credit, jk!) I never even thought that issue would arise but I'm kind of glad it did. It's a very unhealthy practice and I wouldn't advise anyone to do it. Glad you liked Harry's concern though.

This was a really lovely chapter, but way too short - I enjoyed it so much I didn't want it to end. You really did a nice job of portraying the characters and I'm SO glad Hermione took the proverbial bull by the horns. Love the borrowed courage quote - it's so true.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I know, I know. All my chapters are too short. I'm working on it, I swear! I really do believe it will be Hermione who'll take the plunge in their relationship. Ron is just too emotionally constipated for it.

Once again, very good chapter! I'm glad Ron isn't going to freak out anymore. I really liked how you brought up the point about Petunia. I personally think she and Lily were very close once, but her jealousy drove them apart.

Author's Response: I agree. I just hate the idea of Petunia not ever liking Lily for no reason at all. I hope to see JKR do some background for them in the next two books.

Good advice from Viktor Krum. One of my greatest gripes about Harry is that he has yet to realize the power of his friendships. I suppose a large part of why he keeps missing the point is that he's never had anyone to rely upon before his life at Hogwarts. ANyway, very good in between chapter. I hope you'll be able to update soon because I'm really enjoying this story.

Author's Response: To me, my friends are the best thing in the world. I love my family, but you're obliged to be with them, at least until you move out. Friends stay because they want to be with you. Harry needs to learn that his friends are his family and he just doesn't appreciate them enough yet. However, I think it's coming soon...

I had a feeling it was going to be Tonks and I was right! Nice job with the chapter and letting Harry get away with Stupefying that git Malfoy. I did find it a bit odd that Harry and Ron didn't carry Tonks, since they are both bigger and stronger than the girls.

Author's Response: Uhh...girl power? I don't know, you caught me there. Really, I have no idea how that worked out. I mean, where the girls were standing, with Tonks, then Harry...or was it Ron? suggesting that they couldn't handle it...hmm. Oh well, it set up for Harry cursing Malfoy.

I am SO glad Ginny and Harry are back together and I loved how you had Ginny holding back a bit by saying she can't handle hearing "love" yet. He really hurt her and he's going to have to work hard to get things back to the way they were. I hope Hermione and Ron wise up soon! Great chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you! I really appreciate that. I think at one point, I had Harry proposing to Ginny(like said, there's been many rewrites) but it seemed all wrong. They're kids for heaven's sake. They're younger than I am and I haven't had a single serious relationship. No need for them to have one before I do....just kidding.
