Another good chapter. Only two things I noticed that detracted from an otherwise very enjoyable read. Thefirst, I see, has been mentioned by other reviewers - the reference to "grade" rather than "year". The second is that numbers ten and under are usually spelled out in paragraphs (i.e. three rather than 3). Minor issues, but I want to give an honest review.

Well done. You wrote very realistically about Dumbledore. Two notes of caution, however - first, watch for the difference between "your" and "you're". Second, OK should not be abreviated, but rather written out as "okay". Minor observations.

I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. I love Kingsley and I am glad to see him sharing his knowledge with Harry. I thought it was great how you correlated a physics equation with the emotion used for the spell - very creative, not to mention that it made perfect sense. Can't wait to read your next chapter.

Good introduction, but a little abrupt at the end. I look forward to reading more.

I really enjoyed the birthday party scene. Harry deserves to have some enjoyment in his life.

Good chapter. I'm not too sure about the adoption thing. I see Remus more as being Harry's guardian, but not actually adopting him. Just a thought.

Excellent one-shot, but I wish there was more! I think this could have been a fantastic chapter story.

Excellent one-shot, but I wish there was more! I think this could have been a fantastic chapter story. Oh, as an afterthought, watch out for typos - they detract from the story.

Author's Response: Can you point out the typos, I've had another look at the story and couldn't see any! Thanks

Absoluely wonderful! I loved the variation on the killing curse and how Tom was arrogant until the end. You really did a good job with this.

Author's Response: Thanks! Possibly one of the most difficult things for me to write. I wasn\'t going to kill him in this fic, but up at the end, I decided to go ahead and do it and I was pleased with how it came out. I\'m glad you liked it!

This was so good. You should consider doing a story set when Draco gets out of prison in 20 years.

Author's Response: I\'ve actually been working on the third story which features Draco when he gets out of jail and coming to terms with his stint in Azkaban and his hatred of Harry. I haven\'t finished it yet so I don\'t know if it will make it up here, but it is in the works. Thanks for all the great reviews that you have given me!

Can I just say that Zacharias Smith needs a kick in the arse? I respect that he made a decision, but I have a feeling he may regret it later. Anyway, this was a good chapter. That spoiler is driving me crazy....

Author's Response: I'd give it to him too, but the librarians frown upon kicking in the computer screen. I had to learn that the hard way. ;) J/K. Thanks for the review and your thoughts. You do a pretty good job at guessing. . .

Nooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my favorite characters is gone :-( Someone needs to get their hands on that rat {ettigrew and choke the life out of him! I'm depressed over Remus, but I guess you're illustrating a point of war. I did find that Harry's emotions should be a bit stronger. It just seemed like he didn't take it as hard as he should have, although after dealing with all of the deaths and horrors he's seen in his life I guess he could be a bit emotionally numb. I hope you are able to update soon.

Author's Response: You know, many of my reviewers believe me to be some sadistic person who tortures you with spoilers and that's true but I felt terribly for killing off Lupin. But, as you said, it is a point of war and in any war, no matter how noble the cause, people you love will die. It was difficult to write Harry in this as well, a lot of his reaction is numbness, but it's also the realization that there's nothing he can do and the best thing for him to do is to move on and continue to fight harder. Thank you so much for all your reviews, it will be in the least several days before I can update.

I have such a love-hate relationship with cliffies - they drive me crazy but at the same time they really make you return to continue the story. Sorry I haven't reviewed in awhile, but life has been hectic. Anyway, I love that you really didn't go into a lot of detail about the funeral. I think you really gave it a sense of dignity. I agree with you that Godrick's Hollow is going to be of tremendous importance in book 7. I really enjoyed how Harry and Ginny ended up there alone and how Dumbledore showed up, but left them to their own devices, as though he did not want to intrude on such a personal moment for Harry. My best guess for what's wrong with Ginny is that she's very sensitive to the horrors of went on in that room, so I'm off to the next chapter to find out...

Author's Response: I understand about life being hectic. I've neglected so many of the stories in my favorites list. As for the funeral, I find it difficult to write, such long ceremonies end up really boring in writing. I'm glad that you appreciated it.

Oh my - where do I even begin? This was one of your finest chapters. There was a good balance of action and tension. I admire that you killed off so many characters. That probably sounds strange, but I think it is an accurate depiction of war. Both sides have casualties and it isn't realistic to think otherwise. That said, I also found it a very unique idea to have Pettigrew not only repay his dept to Harry, but to turn his wand on himself. I haven't seen that in any other fanfics, and I am very impressed. Finally, when Harry's wand broke, I was in a panic, but I think there is more to him using Ginny's wand than meets the eye. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Bless you, Bless You, BLESS YOU! I wanted someone to appreciate my end for Pettigrew and point it out and you didn't disappoint me! Like it or not, JKR mentioned that Pettigrew had a debt to pay and so far she hasn't brought it up again. And he had to have known that after such treachery, he would have been severely punished by Voldemort. I think that character death is one of the most realistic things in the books because there has to be a price paid with war, otherwise we would never stop fighting them. I worried and agonized over this chapter and even after it was submitted I wondered at how it would be received. Thank you for easing my fears greatly. You summed up many of the points I was hoping to make! Thank you!

Ah, I had forgotten about Ginny's gift! I really felt sorry for her, having to feel the pain of her vision. Her soul really is tied to Harry's and I think (okay, I hope) that somehow JKR will do something similar. I don't think Harry and Ginny's resemblance to James and Lily is entirely coincidental. Anyway, I digress. I loved this chapter's evil cliffie by the way and I'm off to read the next one.

Author's Response: I actually do a bit of explaining on the visions in a few chapters. I agree, I want Harry and Ginny to still maintain their connection in book seven, but I don't hold hope for them getting back together, at least until the end.

Author's Response: Just a little idea that I had. Thank you!

Good chapter - I am glad you updated. I promise not to give you a hard time about redeeming Percy. We all have good and bad in us and it is the decision which way we lean that's important. What I really liked was how Harry was going to give Percy a hard time and made the sudden realization that he had to let it go. It's something I think is a key difference that separates Harry from Voldemort. Nice job.
