Okay...let's see here...I hail from the middle of Nowhere'sville, Ohio. I'm 15 years old and am eagerly counting down the days until I can drive. I enjoy drawing and reading comic books. I also write Harry Potter fan fiction in my free time--obviously.
When I am not doing something Harry Potter-related, I'm listening to classic rock, with The Who residing as the best band to ever grace the face of this Earth. I also like The Kinks, Dire Straits, Queen, U2, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Cat Stevens, Guns n' Roses, Rod Stewart and Bob Dylan. I'm also a huge Buddy Holly fan; I know he's a complete outlier, it's like: classic rock, classic rock, classic rock...1950's? I know, different, but I like his music...not really sure why, I just do.
When I'm not writing or listening to music, I'm reading--a lot. Outside of the Harry Potter books, I am a HUGE Stephen King fan. A few other books I like (thanks to my English teacher) include The Good Earth and The Giver. Also ranking among the top are definitly Eragon and Eldest.
When it comes to movies, I like the old horror movies (such as Fright Night and Stephen King's Silver Bullet and The Shining--if you've never seen these movies, they're really good--if you like horor movies, that is) and the classics (like It's a Wonderful Life and Shanendoah). I also love the Pirates of the Carribean movies.
When it comes to tv shows I relish in the escapades of Monk, House, Psych, Happy Days, Andy Griffith, Welcome Back Kotter, and Green Acres--yeah, I like the old stuff.
My favorite fan fictions to write are ones that include the marauders, but they don't necessarily have to be marauder-era.
Okay, time to talk ships: I ship Harry/Ginny, Hermione/Ron, and Lupin/Tonks (which I think is the cutest relationship in the entire series!) Yeah, all my ships are canon; I like them just the way JKR has written them, but of course, that's just my opinion.
Now, on to the most important part--my favorite Harry Potter character (drumroll please)....REMUS LUPIN! My favorite Lupin moment would have to be either when the class is taking on bogarts in PoA or when Lupin is explaining everything to Ron, Harry, and Hermione in the Shrieking Shack. Then, of course, Sirius Black as a close second. My favorite Sirius-moment...hmm...that's a tough one...let's go with in GoF, when Harry, Ron, and Hermione meet him in Hogsmeade and he goes crazy over the chicken. I also like the part after Voldemort returns and Sirius is there for Harry as he explains what has occured to Dumbledore. Now there's a good godfather! Yep, those are my favorite characters-- everyone's favorite werewolf and framed murderer.
Oh, yeah, and my favorite book in the series is PoA.
And my least favorite characters? Aside from Voldemort, it would definitly have to be Wormtail, Fenrir Greyback, and Bellatrix LeStrange (hmm...that makes sense, considering who my favorite characters are...)
Alrightly then...now let's talk ships. I'm pretty much simply canon, not that the other pairings aren't interesting too, but I like the way JKR has it. As far as I'm concerned, she's the author, and what she says go. Here are my personal favorites: Lupin?Tonks (they are soooooooo cute together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Ron/Hermione, and Harry/Ginny.
That pretty much sums me up...yeah...
