maybe i'll write something, someday. we'll see. for now, i'm just here to read a bit (ok, a lot, as for right now i'm rather addicted. *sobs*) and to leave some reviews for you people.
oh yes, and since i said i'm the cart lady and all, just call if you want some sugary sustenance. in a purely innocent, non-double entendre way. alright, i'm shutting up now.
Summary: Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!
Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.
* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *
(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)
wow, i never thought being possessed by ghosts could be romantic. until now, i guess. congrats.
Author's Response: Aw, thanks! I think it depends on the ghosts, ;).
i did enjoy the chap.
haha oh that sounds wrong.
Author's Response: Depends on the chap. If he looks like Draco....why shouldn\'t you enjoy his company? (and by company I mean snogging ^_~)
the quotes/allusions are always enjoyable
Author's Response: I\'m glad you like them! Since I profit only by reviews and there\'s no pesky copyright infringement to worry about, they\'re a perk I can\'t resit. :D
My take on how events may pan out in book seven. Spoilers from all previous HP books.
The events of the previous year have brought home to Harry the realization of what has to be done, and the knowledge that it must be done alone. Now as he sets off on his final quest, making new acquaintances along the way, he must bring all his knowledge and skill to bear in his effort to destroy Lord Voldemort. But will it be enough, or is there something that he has missed which might prove to be his undoing?
great story so far,...er...scarhead. at first i didn't think i would buy into the idea of harry leaving on his own, seeing as JKR probably wouldn't want to completely cut hermione, ron, ginny, et al out of it. but then i remembered: hey, this is fanfiction! anything can happen, especially if it's written well!
and of course, like everyone else reading this, i am certainly itching to find out such an Astounding, Atrocious A-initialed name that could cause harry to grin evilly :)
Author's Response: Well, it was an idea that got stuck in my head. Very LOTR (another favourite book of mine) where the story splits into two lines which then converge at the end and I wondered if I could do the same with Harry Potter. Don\'t worry I won\'t be leaving Ron, Hermione, Ginny and the rest of the gang out of it. You\'ll be hearing from then quite soon.
Summary: Ever wonder what the world of Harry Potter would be like as a soap opera? Me neither – until now, that is. Set in Harry’s 6th year, think of this as the parts of the Half Blood Prince that JKR didn’t want us to see. If you're into unconventional ships, this one's for you! Behold… As the Wizarding World Turns
Episode 9 is up!
*****Excerpt from a later chapter*****
"Haven’t you heard the rumors about her – one date Weasley.”
“One date what!?” Harry stared at Hermione dumfounded. He turned his head towards Ginny who once again started snogging Dean. Dean’s hands wandered to his girlfriend’s bum as she pulled the lower half of his body closer. “Hmm… makes sense,” he admitted.
“Anytime she brings up that sort of thing, I try to act like I have loads of experience too, but actually I have no idea what I’m talking about.”
“But what about you and Krum?” Harry asked, still visibly uncomfortable about their conversation.
“Oooh big deal. So we kissed a couple times. That means I must be a demon in the sack,” Hermione answered sarcastically. “Look, I was thinking…” Hermione started to blush. “I need to find someone I know to you know… practice with.”
“Yes well Evil and Plan they go together like peanut butter and jelly, Tom and Jerry, Harry Potter and must die. I just can’t say one without the other.”
Best Voldy line ever.
hermione, hermione, always thoughtful enough to leave the guy dangling in midair without his pants, as evidence..
Summary: Harry Potter has just finished attending Dumbledore's funeral and now has to search for and destroy the remaining Horcruxes. My version of book 7. Thank you to KDTheRavenclaw for agreeing to beta this story, I am indebted to you. Consider this story abandoned since I am too busy with my family to keep writing. I tried to submit a summery of the rest of the story, but MNFF is too picky to allow it, so I apologize.
i like harry's reflections in this story. especially at the end - i thought those were spot on.
Author's Response: Thank you, I appreciate the reviews.
slight tidbit of concrit: i think ginny's reaction to the prophecy was a little stilted/articificial.. but yes.. don't kill me, i still like the story!
Author's Response: Lol, I have a hard time writing certain things, and Ginny\'s reaction was one of them...
Summary: Lily's eighteenth birthday is approaching fast. Will one of her friends figure out to do with a long-neglected organ?
the last exchange of words is perfect.
Author's Response: Thanks!
Summary: POST HBP. Harry, Hermione, and Ron start back at Privet Drive for the beginning of the last adventure. A story about the love and friendship needed to end the final task.
Begins with what we know will happen in Book 7 and delves into what we hope will happen...(Warning added due to some slight content in Chap. 5)
UPDATE: CHAPTER 11 IS POSTED... (Some content may be considered...harsh...you have been warned!)
Thanks to everyone who keeps reading and thanks for all the reviews!
great for a first-ever fic!
Author's Response: thanks!
the awkward conversations are true to the characters.. good job
Author's Response: one of my favorite things to write!
Summary: This is an alternate version of Book Seven. Harry reluctantly returns to Hogwarts to train with a new DADA teacher, one appointed in specifically for Harry in Dumbledore's will. As the rest of the Wizard World reacts to Dumbledore's defeat, Harry develops the skills he needs to fulfill the Prophecy--including mastery of the Kedavra curse.
Mysteries are explored along the way, particularly the "missing 24 hours" from 1981--the span of time between Hagrid taking Baby Harry from the ruins of Godric's Hollow on Halloween Night, and his arrival to hand off Baby Harry on Privet Drive the following night. The Veil Room in the Department of Mysteries is also revisited. A traitor is uncovered, and Dumbledore's wisdom comes into question. And even when all goes as planned, things are not all they seem.
wow.. that's a great chapter.. nice ending too.. but the devilspawn? pears?? truly random. not that i mind, of course! :)
Author's Response: What can I say, I always wanted to write a fic that had a 3-inch-tall demon in it.
the introduction of the fireflies and how they work was quite detailed and done quite well..you've thought out the whole process, which was great..
Author's Response: Thanks! I had fun inventing them.
you write ondossi well.; i enjoy reading her..
Author's Response: Cool! I was afraid people wouldn\'t like her as she\'s kind of unstable, but she has her reasons.
gut reaction: !!!!!!
coherent review: not sure i have one. but as i keep saying, great story, and really, really interesting.
Author's Response: !!!!! works for me...
ah, the flies, such handy plot forwarders...but i love them anyway!
Author's Response: What can I say, they did their job.
Friendship, Love, and Pranks: The Story of the Marauders by Padfoot is MINE
Rated: Professors [Reviews - 1181]
Summary: Chapter Thirty-Eight in Queue!
They say someday your life will flash before your eyes...
The Marauders. The name alone strikes fear into the hearts of teachers and makes girls swoon. Watch as Sirius, who has always kept his emotions locked up in a box, finally finds the girl that has its key; as James masterminds everything, except how to win over the girl of his dreams; as Remus finds love, but learns it's just as hard to keep it going, and as Peter tries to prove he's just as good as the other four, no matter what he has to do. They're unstoppable, and it's safe to say that once they're gone, Hogwarts will never be the same again.
...let's make ours worth watching.
nice chapter, even with all the exicitng melodrama..
and i could not stop laughing at the thought of shrubby james, with the glasses and sticking-up leaves. i will seriously be giggling into next week.(which isn't hard, as it's sunday. oh well.)
Author's Response: Bush!James is the coolest. But, Sunday is technically the start of the week, right? I know that because In kindergarden, I had to take this test, and it was all, \"Spell the first day of the week, spell the second day of the week,\" etc, and I put Monday first, got them all wrong and failed. Now I will never forget that sunday comes first.
Summary: Dudley Dursley gets married to a wonderful wife and has two perfect sons. Everything seems to be perfect in his life until an unexpected letter arrives at his doorstep- his son is a wizard! Is Dudley going to have to relive his dreaded childhood?
I know that I have not been on Mugglenet FanFic in SEVERAL months and I am sorry. These past months and year have been so crazy, hectic, and frustrating there has been no time for DD. I am sad to tell that I will not be finishing DD unless a random amount of freetime appears.
Instead of leaving my fans to a cliff-hanger, I might be writing an ending chapter to summarize how I planned to finish DD. I am so sorry for all my fans! I appreciate your time in reading and reviewing- you guys are wonderful! 200 reviews! Thanks to my fans!
the plot thickens, like...gravy! [an analogy of which dudley would be proud.]
Author's Response: LOL very interesting analogy! Thanks for reviewing!!
Summary: A terrible Christmas, five years ago now, span their lives out of control. They leave, both still wondering at what could have been. But then, in the Muggle world, they find someone new. Is it possible they can learn to love again?
i'm glad i have your "luv"! :) this is interesting, that they both decided they had to run away and change their names...but not changing them by very much... thanks for writing!

this start looks promising...can't wait to see more! (and find out how it happened..)
