Terrific story with loads of depth! I can believe the author has experience in much of what she has written here, the details and emotions are so spot on!
Keep this story coming!
Author's Response: Thank you very much, I try hard to make the relationships believable. The next few chapters are already done, so I hope to get them out quickly. :)
I LOVE THIS STORY! Can't wait to see how the escape goes! You write beautifully and weave quite a tale
Winner of the QuickSilver Quills Award, categ. Best Marauder Era.What did being a Marauder truly mean?... Let's just say that some tunes cannot be played by a lone musician; and those four's lives were certainly not soloists' scores. In class or in detention, in Quidditch matches or full-moon wanderings, fleeing before monsters or confronting dark wizards, they wrote, measure after measure, their own eight-handed piece.
Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs, are proud to present a Symphony for Quartet.
I love it. The detail with which you write is so rich. You should think about writing as a profession!
Author's Response: Right now I\'m trying to concentrate on my current studies, but I\'ll think about it :). Thanks for the review.
Wow! What a turn this story has taken! I began reading this feeling as if it was a rehash of the book. Quickly I realized, however, that it has this lovely familiarity, but takes the viewpoint of different characters, making the story richer. I'm at a point now where I can't leave my computer, and I've even caught myself skipping dialogue to see what surprise comes next! I am very happy I began reading this, and would recommend it to all!
Author's Response: Well thank you so very very much for such a lovely review! Yes, I try to stay VERY close to canon (though my sharp readers help steer me right if I go astray) but of course, make the story adventure plus shippiness, and revolve the POV. I have really enjoyed writing this story - in fact, I am working on a new chapter right now for my patient \"regulars\" who are looking for a new installment. And whoa - I just realized, today, this story is a year old! :-)
GREAT CHAPTER! I look forward to what happens next!
Well that was quite a chapter! I almost took this off of my list after the whole headmaster's thing, but now I eagerly await the next update!
Author's Response: (...?)...Thanks, I guess... would you mind telling me what you disliked so much in the first part of the chapter?
Although I've been waiting, wondering if you'd ever be able to finish this story - IT'S BEEN WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!
I hope so much that you can write the next chapter post haste! Fantastic chapter, as they all have been.
Author's Response: Oh, I will finish it, no worries about that =) Glad you liked the chapter, will update asap.
This story is wonderful - it is so gut-wrenching and gritty. WHEN oh when will you give us an update?! This was the first story I every read on Mugglenet... You're a tough act to follow. Please finish this for us. You're a very talented writer!
Author's Response: Just updated, sorry for the wait! Hope you enjoy this chapter =)
You're a great writer! I like where you've left this story, too - leaves much to the imagination.
Thanks for a great story
Holy cow that one was fantastic chapter! I am anxiously awaiting the finale, but will hate that it is the end of this, too. Thanks Gryffinpuff!
Nice writing! I can easily imagine how unreal it would be, and how frightening, too.
I've just finished the first chapter and I'm hooked - very nice job! I've seen many other stories that list what each of the characters are thinking, etc., one after another, but this one has a better flow than any other I can remember.
Looking forward to reading mroe!!
Lovely - very nice!
I love your story... I think the Regulus memories are cool - I can't imagine that Sirius would be so cold to his brother after his death. I don't know how you'll weave this in, but I'm eagerly waiting the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks! The next chapter is in queue, though I kinda veered off the Reg topic to get on with some Order business. I wrote a random one-shot about Regulus though, which is also in queue, since his character has been intriguing me lately.
Wow! There's no wait for action in this story! Thank you very much for that! I wouldn't doubt that in Book 7 Ravenclaw's item will be a book, too - nice thinking. I'm very interested to see where this goes next, who the slimy voice belongs to, and what happens next on Harry's birthday. Keep writing!
Author's Response: thanks mucho! yea i couldnt resist jumping right into it...next ch is not too long off, im trying to finish it before i go back to school for second semester in a week or so. thanks for reading and i look forward to more of your reviews!
That was a really great half chapter! It had been so long, I had to go back and re-read the previous chapter too. Thanks for posting it, and I really hope you'll post more very soon.
Author's Response: Hopefully the next will be in a month!! I\'m the same way -- having to reread chapters before I read the new one =) Glad you enjoyed it!
I elaborated very much upon this short period of time, but I had a lot of fun writing about it.
This story is complete...but there is a continuation! See the final A/N: for details!
Very real - I loved it.
Forgive me for saying, but you might want to delete part of the summary of your follow up story, plus the thanking of betas, etc.... I think it would've been nice just to have the ending of Internal Battles sit with us happy readers. It's a lovely picture, the rain falling around them with nothing else mattering. I can imagine this and would love to read something like this in the new HP book! You never know...
Author's Response: I will eventually, but for now it is important to give credit where credit is due! My beta\'s deserve a HUGE credit for their assistance. They are working on the continuation...and to be selfish, I want people to read it as well.... I am glad that you liked it though!
Author's Response: I\'m glad! Tell a friend!
Tonks' world has fallen into shadow. Voldemort has returned, the Order of the Phoenix has risen, and Sirius is slowly drowning in memories and Firewhisky. Tonks needs more than determination to fight the darkness. She needs Remus.
That was a lovely and compelling story. I'm adding you to my favorite authors' list (there's only 2 now!) and I'm going to read your other posts now.
(I was a little confused in this chapter about Tonks' earlier healer meeting, why there was an idea of abuse, etc., but I guess I just don't remember it.)
Author's Response: You inspired me to put the A/N at the beginning of the chapter reminding anyone who needed a memory jog, ^_~, that Healer Wells was in ch 15 and 17 of Promise of a Spring Moon. As for the abuse issue, that was just Jerry\'s crazy idea!
I really like this story, and I've been waiting for this chapter to come, sadly... you wrote it beautifully - everyone in white, the children dressing as angels - it was lovely
Author's Response: I\'m so happy you liked the dream! I tried to portray that subconsciously Tonks knew--Bellatrix said she was going to kill Sirius, the other voice was \"hoarse with tears\"--so she fled from reality into the fantasy of what she wished would be the future, but the truth followed, until she had to accept it, sadly.
