Summary: Severus Snape, dangerously embroiled in his duties as Dumbledore's spy, encounters yet further obstacles when he begins to harbor feelings for a sixth year Gryffindor student. Succumbing to his desires sets in motion a chain of events that could very well destroy all that he and the opposition of Lord Voldemort have striven so hard to accomplish. Please keep in mind that this is written from the angle that Snape is no longer a follower of Voldemort, and that its events coincide with books 4, 5, and 6, with a slight continuation beyond HBP. (Chapters 1-15 need some fixing to work with Book 7.)
It occured to me that I have not reviewed in a while so I thought I'd tell you miy thoughts. Awesome! I love how the story has progressed. It flows so effortlessly. I can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, my friend! I\'ve got a lot to change since I read Book 7, but I\'m trying to get the next chapter turned out. I know what I want to do with it, but classes and out of class torment (i.e. paper-writing and projects and various other methods of professorial torture) are thoroughly in the way... I promise I\'ll crank on weekends late at night in my few off hours. :) The Hubby says to tell you hello (and even though it\'s in utero, the baby does too!) and I shall see you hopefully soon, when I promise I will tell you in greater detail about my ideas. :)

It\'s my goal to have the next two done before break\'s over... because I sure won\'t be able to get two done in three weeks with class/swimming breathing down my neck!
