Summary: Lily Evans and James Potter agreed on only one thing since they first met: they'll always hate each other. But after five years, James begins to see things, to see her, differently, and wants another chance. But Lily is one stubborn girl. Can he convince her that his feelings are real? Meanwhile, the pair is thrust into many different dangerous and humorous situations with their friends. Will it take a disaster to help Lily believe in true love? Or will a tragedy just push her farther away? How many times does James have to try before he stops messing up? Follows with the information provided by JKR, with some fun along the way.
Great story, it follows the development of James and Lily's relationship well, and stays faithful to the spirit of the original work. I demand more - especially of Lily and James, as soon as that pesky girl realises what's so obviously looking her in the face.Update soon!
Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)
I just read your whole story (so far) in an afternoon, and it's great! It keeps bringing silly grins to my face, as well as making me laugh out loud. Your plot devices are excellent - you have a wonderful imagination. Keep it up and I'll keep reading...as long as I can stand the torture of the snail like pace at which those two fools are realising how much they like each other.
Summary: “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a land slide, no escape from reality. Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see… Anywhere the wind blows doesn't really matter to me.”
Draco Malfoy has killed a man – a fellow Death Eater. Running away from the Death Eaters who are sure to pursue him, he runs into a weary Harry Potter, and takes a risk which may prove fatal.
Last story in my Night at the Opera series.
It was a very interesting story that certainly gave me pause for thought. Quite apart from the physical aspect of what happened in their meeting (which I'm glad you didn't elaborate upon too much - it would've been unnecessary), I think that it reflects a real respect between Harry and Draco that we will probably see in Book 7. Thank you, a great, well written read.
Author's Response: I see no need to elaborate too greatly; let the readers create their own images. Thank you for your review. I\'m glad you liked the story, however much you may or may not have been grossed out by the physical aspect of the story. :)
Summary: Voldemort has been defeated. Neville Longbottom has a comfortable life teaching at Hogwarts with all his friends, yet he is missing something in his life. Then he meets Aurora Hitchcock, owner of a Potions shop in Hogsmeade Village. Together they frantically work on an ancient potion for protection from a devastating spell, in the shadow of a rising threat. Before they can discover the unknown enemy, someone from Aurora’s past returns. What will happen when ancient Potions meet modern Herbology?
I really do enjoy this story, so thanks for updating. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep reading. Aurora is a fantastic and very sympathetic character, and I am enjoying the way you've portaryed Neville.
Author's Response: Thank you! You\'ve boosted my rather blah day today. I hope you like the upcoming chapters. I hope to not make you wait too long for the next one.
I'm really enjoying this story - it's nice for Neville to have some attention for a change. Though I'd like a bit more about the dark witch, that storyline sounds interesting and I hope it becomes less peripheral to the love story.
Great work though. Thanks
Author's Response: Thank you. Yes, there will be more about the Dark Witch and others soon. She\'s going to be mysterious for awhile though, but her plan will be revealed soon.
Summary: It's a short while from the end of the First War. Frank and Alice Longbottom are well-respected Aurors as well as members of the Order of the Pheonix. After Voldemort is defeated, the Longbottoms are paid a visit by a gang of Death Eaters. Very, very, very mild language warning.
It's very promising - keep it up. Not sure I think Dumbledore could be easily imperiused either, but I'm sure the Longbottoms will find out all. One thing I found confusing - who's Billy?
Author's Response: Oh ha. That was stupid of me. I changed Billy to Gawain Robards halfway through writing it. Thanks for catching it.
Sophomore Spells at the Wizarding University of Paris by jenniferes
Rated: Professors [Reviews - 150]
Summary: Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy attend their sophomore year at the Wizarding University of Paris. This is a sequel to both the Dragon Does the Tickling, where Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy complete their seventh year at Hogwarts after the war and fall in love and More Wandless Magic with Malfoy, where they complete their freshman year at WUP. I strongly recommend reading both those stories first.
Just read all three stories in the space of a week. Very well structured with an HP-type mystery to solve along with the character arcs. Thank you and please update soon!
