Why I Like Harry Potter: Everyone who knows me at all knows I'm obsessed with Harry Potter and as such, this is the question I get asked the most and the hardest one to answer. I guess I love the books because they're good stories, but it's more than that. They take me from the real world, they ensure that I always have a friend, someone to relate to. They created this wonderful fandom where I've met counless wonderful people. What's not to like about Harry Potter?
My Boggart: Like Mrs. Weasley in OotP, my family being hurt. It would also probably be me squeezed into a tight elevator for eternity.
My Favorite Characters: (in no specific order) Harry, Ron, Hermione (had to get the obvious out of the way), Hagrid, Luna, Sirius, Remus, James, Lily, Dumbledore, Tonks, Neville, and the Weasleys.
My Favorite Ships: Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, James/Lily, Neville/Luna or Neville/Lavender, Umbridge/Voldemort (hey, they're both pure evil! Muhahaha!)
How Long I've Been Obsessed and How I Express That Obsession (try saying that five times fast!) : I have been obsessed for five years. Life as I now know it started when I read SS after my Dad ordered all the books and begged me endlessly to read them (how he regrets it now....) and then I went on a field trip to see the movie with my class... it was love at first... word? line?
I express my obsession by listening to MuggleCast every week, visting MuggleNet at least twice a day, being a PiPa member, and of course coming here and to the Forums. I also made my basketball team sing on one of the character's birthdays, but after that I could never convince them to do it again.... spoil sports!
*************A Few Facts Regarding Me******************
My Hero: Jo Rowling. She is an inspiration to all of those who have ever been told, have ever thought, that they can't do this. She proved the whole world wrong by coming up with the best book series ever and becoming the first author worth a billion. Take that, those who make fun of me for calling her "Jo", "like she's my personal friend". Who doesn't, though?
Favorite Books: (Besides the Harry Potter series, the best books forever and ever. Amen) The Goose Girl, Enna Burning, River Secrets, Princess Academy, all by Shannon Hale; The Maximum Ride Series, by James Patterson; The Lionboy Trilogy, by Zizou Corder; Percy Jackson and the Olympiads Series, by Percy Jackson; The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis; Pride and Predjudice by Jane Austen; The Blue Sword, Beauty, both by Robin McKinley; Alas, Babylon, by Pat Frank

Summary: After the long fight, after all of their hard work, it is over. Voldemort has triumphed, and the Wizarding world has been thrown into darkness. Ginny is the servant of the Malfoys, her free will sucked away from her. Ron is forced to join the Death Eaters, threatened with his family's lives. Hermione is taken prisoner by creatures of the night. But, far away, weak and barely alive, is the one who can pull them out of the storm...if love can survive the challenge.
NO! Harry can't be dead!!! Voldemort can, but not Harry!
I can't wait to find out what happens, but I don't want this story to end!
Anyway, great chapter, it was only a tiny bit rushed, but other than that, it was wonderful, as always!
Oh my gosh! I can't tell you how many times I uttered that phrase while reading this! I was tearing up over Ginny, one of my favorite characters, but then.... all I can say is "THANK YOU!"
I also thought it was really excellent that Ron killed the person responsible for his sister's... death? ..... And, as much as I hate Harry and Ron killing, I'm glad that Harry finally killed Draco, the toerag!
This chapter was beautiful! I loved all of the reasons why he had to return, his feelings for his deceased loved ones, and the fact that Flamel ruled the realm beyond the Veil. The ending was one that could make you smile if you were in the worst of moods, and could bring a happy tear to your eye at the fact that Harry's burden had been lifted.
The bad part about the ending was the fact that... it ended! I thoroughly enjoyed every word of this story.... contrary to what you said, it wasn't a "nice" ride. It was a wonderful one.
Keep up the awesome writing! Thanks for this great imagining of Harry's final thunder clap in the "Storm of Darkness"!
Author's Response: thanks very much! hope you check out my new story (if it gets accepted) called \"Mortality\".

Very good first chapter. It's a really unique idea, one that I've never thought of before.... it's so original! Good work!
Author's Response: Thanks for the great praise! It really made me feel good. Thanks for reviewing!
Another good chapter! I love the fact that Sirius is alive... how I miss him! I also laughed when I read that Ms. Jorkins was very confused... way to incorporate that! Nice job, again!
Author's Response: I know.. I wish Sirius was alive... Ah, well. THanks for the second lovely review!
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.
WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.
RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!
I must say that this chapter made me crack up harder than any of the other chapters, which I would've previously thought impossible. Do you kay-doubleyew that you are completely hilarious? Thanks to you, I must buy a new pair of jeans.
I know that this story was completed by the time I started reading it, but I can't imagine it being over. Do you see a The Dark Lord's Blog: Part Two in Voldy's crystal ball?
I loved your reference to the Princess Bride (
Author's Response: Oh, thanks so much! This was the most fun to write (except for Chapter Six, and you\'ll see why) because of the very, er, creative letters I got! Sorry about your pants... There will, in fact, be a sequel coming sometime this month! Keep your eyes peeled!
I can't believe this wonderful story is almost at its demise! Can't wait to read your other works-- I'm sure that they, too, are wicked sweet. On a completely related, but unrelated note (if that made sense, I must be crazier than I thought), I love this portrayal of Bellatrix. It's so LOL!!1!1111!!uno!1
Author's Response: Oh my gosh, I never thought about sticking foreign language version of the number \'one\' in my Bellatrix posts! Speaking of Bellatrix, I can\'t wait for you to read Chapter Six. I think you\'ll like it. ^_^
That was awesome! Bellatrix.... never saw that coming! That was a great ending.... OR WAS IT? Yeah, it was. ;) Will there be a Dark Lord's Blog:Part II?
Author's Response: Hehe... I laughed at your \"OR WAS IT?\" I knew you\'d be surprised by the Bellatrix twist!
Yay! I just saw your reply for my other review! There will be a sequal! Life is worth living! ;)
Author's Response: Yay! I\'m so glad that you enjoy it!
That was one of the funniest things I've ever read! I'm going to read the next chapter right now! Kudos for having an original idea and making it something totally awesome!
Author's Response: Thanks! I got the idea from reading a tragically depressing blog supposedly by Draco Malfoy (I really don\'t recommend it) and then discovered it was part of a blogring! They had blogs for all of the major Harry Potter characters... except for Voldemort! So I searched on Google to find a Voldemort blog I could read, and there were none. So I grumbled, \"Hmmm, I guess I\'m just gonna have to write my own, now.\" And I did! ^_^
Each chapter gets more and more awesome! I can't believe I didn't discover this story before. I'm in my school library right now, and I'm cracking up. The few people that didn't think I'm crazy do now! ;)
Author's Response: Aw, thanks! I tend to get a lot of school library readers; similarly, I seem to respond to reviews in the school library. Don\'t tell my librarian, though, because she seems to shut down computers not being used for school-related stuff.
I love it! When I'm done with this fic, I'm going to read all the other stories by you! You're hilarious! The Teen Minerva/Tom ship is very interesting, I might consider jumping on that bandwagon! ;)
Author's Response: I\'m glad you like it! My other stories are considerably different from this one, although I do always focus on Slytherin characters.

Very good! I really love the way that you show different characters' perspectives. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Hey, LoOnY! Thank you very much. I like to imagine what everyone is thinking since JKR only shows Harry\'s point of view. I\'m glad you like it and the next chapter will be up soon! ~Moony
Awesome.... I really love your descriptions and general writing style. Can't wait to see what's next!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy what\'s next! ~Moony
Awesome.... I really love your descriptions and general writing style. Can't wait to see what's next!
Author's Response: Does this mean you love it double? Sorry; couldn\'t help myself! ~Moony
Summary: The war has ended and the remainder of Hermione's class is graduating. However, this year the school has decided to have an official graduation, and Hermione has been asked to give a speech. She has also been asked not to dwell on the war in this speech. But how can she tell her fellow graduates to look to the future without understanding the past?
That was beautiful! You captured the spirit of loss and also the one of moving forward quite well. The only thing was, the story was very fast-paced! It was a great story though, regardless of the fact that some of my favorite characters died... I guess that's what happens in a war. Excellent!
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I\'m glad you liked it. :D
Summary: Harry Potter sleeps restlessly the night before his final confrontation with Voldemort. An unusual vision propels him through a poignant dreamscape where he encounters all those he has loved and lost. As Harry follows a strange guide on a journey both emotional and spiritual, he learns more about the power the Dark Lord knows not, and comes to finally realize how his destiny rests on the power of love.
Amazing fanfic. The wisdom in the story is unsurpassed by any wisdom I've ever heard. I love the colour of the butterfly chosen for each character-- they fit perfectly.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the glowing review! I\'m really happy you liked this story so much. It\'s rather special to me, as its rather different than most of my other stories. I am so glad you read this piece, and really appreciate your kind words! Thank you!! ~Gina :)
Summary: Katherine Granger was an ordinary dentist. Her daughter Hermione was an extraordinary witch. Is it any wonder they never quite connected? One-shot songfic to "Slipping Through My Fingers" from the musical "Mamma Mia!"
Short but sweet! Very powerful and amazingly thorough for its length. Hope more will come from this author!
Author's Response: Thank you!!!! I will write lots more, don\'t worry. *evil laugh* And it\'s short because so is my patience, when it comes to typing.
Author's Response: And I just realized you put me in your favorite authors.... THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU! I feel like the world\'s coolest person.
Summary: For Lord Voldemort, life is going swell, and everything is juuust peachy... until a ghostly visitor arrives. EXTRAORDINARILY silly.
EDIT: For some bizarre reason that I can't fully comprehend, this story WON the "Things that Go Bump In The Night" challenge in the Winter's Tale Challenge.
Wonderful job! Extremely funny with ridiculously good dialogue. Actually, the whole thing is ridiculously good! Nice job! :D
Author's Response: Awww! Thank you! I have fun with dialogue, since I like to talk in general.
Summary: "Some mistakes are too much fun to make just once."
After Lily Evans, Head Girl of Hogwarts, starts a food-fight with James Potter, Head Boy of Hogwarts, they are both given detention for the rest of the year, and are assigned a 'detention journal', which the staff say will help to settle their 'overwhelming and disturbing differences'. We have come across Lily's journal; her take on why the whole affair ever started, her intriguing relationship with one ‘supreme git of the galaxy’, the extents to which she will go for revenge and where it will lead her...
"And if for some unknown reason you come across this, Potter, and the paragraph above does not manage to penetrate your unusually thick head and convince you of my stupendous dislike of you, I hope the following sentence helps: I HATE YOU!"
I love this story! Lily is so spunky, independent, and daring (and a bit foolish and in denial, but that's why we all love her!). This was a very giggle-inspiring chapter... the pranks were very good.... I wouldn't want to be in Lily's shoes (or James's, as his were tied together.. *giggles at my lame pun*)! I can't wait for more... keep up the hilarious, awesome, super job!
Author's Response: Yeah, Lily is just that! I\'m glad you liked the pranks, I was afraid people would think they were lame. Lol, I wouldn\'t want to be in either of their shoes, I like to just sit at my computer and watch them be rediculous, funny and in denial...lol, thanks so much for all of your lovely reviews!
