Summary: Originally for October Challenge 6: Romance: write a 'ship you don't necessarily support. In his fourth year, Draco discovers that the Malfoy prejudice against Weasleys may have a flaw. Alternate warning: outright lewd.
*claps* YAY! I like it! Such a cute couple. I would've never thought of Ron and Draco before... but I love the idea!
"my arrogant little Pureblood" tee hee CUTE!
Author's Response: I probably never would have thought of them without help -- thank you, Seren. They have such potential. Thanks for the review, and for continuing along the Blue pathway!
Winner of the QuickSilver Quills Award, categ. Best Marauder Era.What did being a Marauder truly mean?... Let's just say that some tunes cannot be played by a lone musician; and those four's lives were certainly not soloists' scores. In class or in detention, in Quidditch matches or full-moon wanderings, fleeing before monsters or confronting dark wizards, they wrote, measure after measure, their own eight-handed piece.
Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs, are proud to present a Symphony for Quartet.
When I stumbled across this story last night, I completely fell in love with it. I sat and read the entire thing, save the last two chapters which I've read today.
It is so well written, JK herself couldn't have done a better job. You've perfecly captured all the characters personalities and transfered them into your work (which alot of times doesnt happen in some fan fiction). This is part of what makes it so enjoyable; it stays so real to the Harry Potter world and what we know about the Marauders. I've taken everything you said, and now I cant picture the Marauders' lives being depicted in any other way.
Keep up the amazing work. =)
Author's Response: Wow.
Comparing my little fiction with JKR\'s work is... beyond flattering. I\'m so happy you liked it that much, and I hope I won\'t disappoint you in the future.
Summary: Long enough to make sense...Short enough for Pig to carry...Long enough to say everything...Short enough for -- maybe send Pig somewhere else and borrow Hermes?
Originally for the February Challenges -- "It is better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all." A sequel to "Blue Eyes Reflecting."
Perfect. This is so perfect. I'm speechless as to what more to say, but i can relate... sometimes the right thing to say can be so hard...
Author's Response: Can\'t it just? Poor Ron. The boy who can\'t always say what he means, stuck with something impossible to say. Thanks for reviewing!
Summary: For Spring Challenge 4: Lamb to the Slaughter. Pigwidgeon brings a note to the Malfoy manor in the summer after Draco's fourth year of Hogwarts. This is a sequal to Blue Eyes Reflecting and Blue Eyes Reproachful; the boys are back again by popular demand. Thanks to Slian Martreb for beta-reading and garyf, joanna, and MrTibbles for a helpful canon check!
Oh sad... *cries*
Is it all over now? forever? and ever?
But they were so good together!!!!
Author's Response: It does look a right mess for them, doesn\'t it? There\'s a bunny getting fed up in the bunny cages, though. One of these days, thanks to Masked One, it really will grow into a good Bigwig of a rabbit. Thanks for the encouragement!
Summary: Several months after Dumbledore's death Harry tracks down Snape to even the score, but what transpires is far from expected, for either of them.
Winner of the 6th round of the Multifaceted Awards in category Desire
OMG YOU SCARED ME! I thought they were dead. I was like "WHAT NO! AHHH." But then I found out they werent and I was happy again.
This is really a great story, I absoloutly love it.
Author's Response: I know what you mean! When the muse whispered that whole \'Avada Kedavra\' bit to me I freaked! ;o) Am happy you enjoyed the story, and thanks for reviewing! HH
Summary: Before Voldemort ripped them apart and banished their friendship to be something merely relived through pensieve, Sirius and James had shared a special bond. And sometimes, that sort of bond runs deeper than it seems. SB/JP slash
I had never thought of Sirius and James before... hmm.
But moving on... I absoloutly LOVED your story. It was so good. I felt so bad for poor poor Sirius. *cries*
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I never gave them ANY thought before, either (besides the occasional story or fanart here or there) so this story was a great challenge. I\'m glad you liked it. :)
Summary: Who was Lucius Malfoy's first love? Someone who stole his heart caused him more trouble than ever he expected and introduced him to romance in winter.
This story has been nominated in the hurt/comfort category in owl.tauri.org's awards for 2006 fanfics. It has also recieved a Runner-Up award for Best Romance in the Mod Quicksilver Quills.
OMG!!! hahaha Lucius's first love, is the mother of Draco's first love! thats rich!
"Pureblood and fiery, she had the maternal sweetness and the curves to promise all the sons a man could want "
hahaha thats Molly for ya!
Author's Response: There was a big push on for it to be Arthur, for some reason. I just couldn\'t do it. So I channeled Lucius, sat him down in the common room, and started writing until I knew who the mystery redhead was. And yes, that\'s Molly for ya. How would Lucius react to seeing all that wealth of boys and wishing they were his?
Thanks for reviewing!
