Summary: Lily Evans is determined not to become another Cinderella story.
And it's not just Cinderella that bothers her: so often a character begins her story insisting that she doesn't need a man’s protection, when—lo and behold—she’s saved by a handsome man and they ride off into the sunset despite her “determination” otherwise.
And if you started to think that their stories probably began much the same way as this one, well, you must not know just how determined Lily Evans could be.
Not an average James/Lily fic...(but still some fluff)...please read and review!
it's a cute srory, but this is moving WAY too fast!!! the first chapter i would've stretche out a ton! an di deinitely wouldn't have covered a year and a hlaf in two chapters. it just seems kinda rushed 2 me. but it's stilla great story!

Summary: James and Lily didn't wake up one morning and find they were in love with each other...but two mornings in particular were a help. So were two letters written in purple ink.
pretty good plt. writing was okay. i don't want james to comfort her a s a "afther" tho...that's kinda creepy since he ends up marrying her.
good job, looking forward to your next stroy!
Author's Response: The point was that because he had gone through the same thing, he knew what she needed--and it wasn\'t a kiss.
Also, she had just lost her father, so she needed someone to cling to. He doesn\'t always act like her father, it\'s just right now because that\'s what she needs. Obviously later things develop, but for now Lily\'s too distraught.
I\'m sorry that was a long response, but I felt that was important to explain.

excellent story!!!!!!!!!!!! sooo sad tho, lamost crying! what happened to the Diary tho? that was like my favorite story ever and then it was deleted! please say your going to write it again!

Reason for Nomination:
This is the most unique take on how James and Lily really got to know each other. The story is hilarious and keeps you laughing throughout, but it never lets you forget the serious stuff. Plus, she somehow manages to end each chapter with a nice cliffhanger.
