It saddens me to have to remove the images from my profile, but an update was drastically needed.

I am a proud Hufflepuff, a former SBBC-er, and a member of the lovely group, SPEW. All of these can be found on the beta forums. I'm very proud of my participation and membership in all three and they've all helped me to expand as a writer.

I'm also exceedingly proud to share that I've won the QSQ for Best Reviewer. Well, I just don't have the proper words to express how much of an honor this is for me.

If you're here looking for something to review (which I invite you to do), I would like to request that you review some of my more recent work. While I appreciate reviews on everything that I've written, they're always twice as sweet on something that is rather new. That said, please don't review My Father's World (it is definitely on permanent hiatus) or Miss Myrtle (which exists only for sentimental reasons these days).

Other than that, please enjoy and explore my author page! Thank you!

I really like your style of writing - expecially in this chapter.
And who would have ever thought that the strict Molly Weasley would have ever broken the rules? :D

Author's Response: Thanks! It will (hopefully) soon become clear why Molly went from a rule-breaker to wanting her children to adhere to them.

Nice chap! I can't wait until Molly finally gets over her obsession with Benjy. And what's this with Arthur being interested in one of Molly's friends?
Good job!

Author's Response: As you can see from Heart to Heart, the Benjy obsession is definitely nearing its end. :) As for Arthur liking Ariel, well that\'s one way to interpret what happened.

Ah...classic cold water pranks. I love those...
When on earth will Molly fall for Arthur? It's almost as if she doesn't realize he exists! The only time she's really noticed him is when he was injured and managed to spill blood all over her brothers' robes. Personally, I think that Arthur ought to go with her to the Black family Christmas party (what a jolly event). Perhaps then she may realize that they are MFEO.

Author's Response: Some girls just take a while to realize that there\'s a really great guy right under their nose. Some guys are the same way. Arthur probably wouldn\'t want to attend the Black family Christmas party since his mother was blasted off the tapestry for marrying a blood traitor (more on that in a distant chapter).

Awww...Arthur can dance! When will Molly ever see him as perfect boyfriend material?
Can't wait for more updates!! :D
BTW - I absolutely loved the "throwing butterbeer" scene; classic!

Author's Response: Thank you! I had a lot of fun writing it!

Boy oh boy! This is a very well thought out story line. I especially liked how Molly started on her traditional rants about Ron's friends being too thin. :D
This has started me thinking, if Ron, Harry, the Weasley's, Crookshanks, her wand, and Hogwarts, A History don't cause a total memory recall, what will? Perhaps (Ron-willing)the mention of Victor Krum or one of his letters would would cause the memories to flood back. Or maybe a Time-turner. That played an enormous role in her life. Would something about the DA (maybe Rita Skeeter or The Quibbler) promote memory recall? I'm fairly positive that something having to do with Rita should do the trick; Hermione was so thrilled that she could correct the injustice by holding threats over Rita's head.
Anyways, enough about that. Maybe some ideas for future chapters have surfaced there, maybe not. Either way, I don't really care. Again, thank you for posting and continuing to write an excellent fic!

Author's Response: WOW! This review is amazingly long, and each time i try to respond the computer times out. But, I love your ideas for the re-enstatement of Hermione\'s memories. However, I have e few plans for her, you shall see what they include ;). As for Rita, well I just might have her pop up somewhere along the line, just for kicks. Thanks you for taking the time to review, I hope you enjoied the story!

I’m very impressed, once again, with this story. I remember reading A Seed From the Ground and being so impressed with your grasp of language, word choice, and sheer skill at writing. Those thoughts were definitely brought back while I was reading this.

I quite liked the self-denial that Katie has going on throughout her little, internal monologue. It was very fun for me to read. Although we don’t really see much of Katie in the books, this seemed to capture what I had imagined of her personality. She is, obviously, a girl, but with a touch of the tom-boy attitude and a desire not to lose control of herself. The part where she reflects on what she would have told Wood (heh, that rhymed!) and the resignation part really emphasized the fact that Katie isn’t some Cho-ish Mary-Sue, who sits around mooning over guys. Katie’s tougher and a little more independent and I liked that quite a bit.

It’s also difficult (for me, at least) to resist anything with Fred and George acting like their impish selves. The love potion that’s not quite a love potion was a really nice touch – I think that it’s definitely something that they would have developed and perhaps marketed in their “Wonder Witch” section. Or perhaps kept under lock and key in the back. I’ve yet to make up my mind.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this – great job!

Leaves by Simply Being
Rated: 3rd-5th Years [Reviews - 14]

Summary: I would look out into the forest, full of huge lofty trees covered in leafy green foliage, pointing downward as if sensing the rain, and trying with all their might to get as far away as possible from it. It doesn’t really make sense, I used to muse to myself. Why would leaves hide from the rain? Maybe, I decided, because they were afraid; afraid that the thing they loved the most would somehow hurt them, and why bother even taking a chance? Therefore, I had concluded, they pointed downward as far as they could reach.

What if the death of Luna's mother wasn't an accident?

A/N: Thanks so much Kasey, Rachel, and Catrin! Also: This comes with a slight AU warning, it all depends on how you look at it. But, strictly speaking, it does not go against cannon.

I would like to start out by complementing you on a job very well done. This is a very unique story.

Itís always been very difficult to associate something like depression with Luna. Sheís always such a happy, go-lucky, carefree person, that itís difficult for me to see her crying or do almost any of the conventional mourning. This is why I was rather caught off guard when she started crying over her mother's death - it just didn't fit, somehow. But, by the end I understood.

On that note, your explanation for the eccentric Xeno and Luna is quite believable. I think that Luna being a "normal" child until her mother died, is actually more believable than having a little five year old interested in the Crumple Horned Snorcacks.

You had a really beautiful way of ending this fic. I was waiting (and kind of expecting) for it to end at her motherís funeral with Luna watching the leaves or something. It was amazing how the story deals with horrible depression, both in Luna and in her mother, and yet it ends on a note of almost carefree joy. I think itís a real talent to be able to do something like that

Anyways, good job on this very unique piece of work!

~Kelly

Author's Response: Thanks Kelly! I really appreciate your thoughts on it, and thanks for the great compliments. I was very happy with the ending. Really, I never felt like the story should end on a sad note. Thanks again! -Danielle

Wouldn't it be fun if Mrs. Fudge asked for a maritial enquiry about Cornelius? I'd bet that his conversation wouldn't be about history :D
I like the stance that Ginny takes about boys. Bet that's a combination of how Ron and all of her boyfriends have acted. ;) Also, come to think of it, there seem to be a lot of mysterious puddles around my school as well...interesting...very interesting.
Ron certainly does have a fascination with those "Scarlet Women"....but also with "Lavender" ones as well; and I thought men were colorblind!
So much for THAT theory....

Author's Response: All cats are grey in the dark? :D Awful of whoever came up with that- I hope they had a wife to hex them, lol. I wouldn\'t be so cruel to Tonks to put her on Cornelius\' case...I have different emotional upheavals planned. :D

Close call in the bath! Props to you for even incorporating the idea that Tonks might have been in love with Sirius.
I loved the father/son bonding time and I laughed so hard when I saw the reference to pink haired babies. Yay for working in the slightest hint of a Draco/Ginny romance while still keeping the Draco/Pansy "ship" afloat!

Author's Response: Thank you for enjoying the incorporation! That\'s one benefit of having book six to help write a book 5 story, the things you get to use, like Harry thinking Tonks was in love with Sirius. Too much fun giving him reasons to think the wrong thing!

I\'m being \'good\' with this story, keeping to canon with D/P and H/G, but if every once in awhile I hint at my preference it be otherwise, you won\'t mind, will you? :D

Happy New Year!

Love the Clash. Love the Spanish lyrics. Love the story. Love the chapter. - It's so good!
It's great how Remus is so protective of Tonks; makes me sigh wistfully - so sweet!
I'm not sure if I want Tonks to find a way into the attic, I want her to be happy, but I don't want this bond to go way out of control. Hmmmm....once again you've written a story with which all of the drama comes after the characters get together. Great job!

Author's Response: There\'s all kinds of drama. The get together drama, work out problems from the past drama, and now deal with the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune drama! :D Yay you love it, because I really would be crushed if you didn\'t. I can say that they come to a compromise about the attic...but then unexpected things happen! dun, dun, dun, heh

Ha! I agree with you; Scrimgeour's questions were certainly "funny".
I just remembered, during most of HBP Tonks and Remus aren't together and Tonks is unhappy. Are you going to have that situation caused by the issues over the Wolfsbane legislation? That would be brilliant, but now I feel more sorry for Tonks than I do for Remus. Oh well....I guess they both deserve quite a bit of pity.
I loved that characterization of McGonagall! I could absolutely see Maggie Smith doing that with her prim and proper ways; that's a strange mental image :D
Oh, by the way, I miss the occasional reference to The Princess Bride. Would it be possible for you to throw some references in? That would be much appreciated ^_^

Author's Response: There will be all kinds of issues...and all kinds of ways they get together, even if it isn\'t as often, or for as long as they\'d like, but for now, yay! you liked the image of Maggie Smith gyrating wildly! :D

Speaking of the Princess Bride, have you ever read a D/G fic? I\'ve got a piratically charming character named Wesley Roberts (I never liked the t, lol) who has set his sights on Luna in A Tale of Two Matchmakers and in an upcoming chapter, I use over a dozen PB quotes! ^_^

Woah...Tonks is becoming "wolfish"! What would happen if she and Remus have kids? Maybe they'd be multicolored pups...just kidding :D
What happened to Cami? I think that she may be able to cher Sirius up a lot more than Tonks.
Great chapter :D

Author's Response: Cami will cheer Sirius up next chapter. I\'m thinking of writing a one shot about it. How does Off the Leash sound? :D

Heeheehee...cooties always bring back memories of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" when Alice got smacked around by Imogene for having cooties...good memories.
During this father/son outing, will Draco perhaps see Miss Ginny Weasley? It would be cool if your fics tied together like that.:D
Also, I'm currently reading Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and I was horribly reminded of Dr. Jekyll working in his lab when Tonks went to see "Eddy"
Happy Holidays!

Author's Response: LOL at \'good memories\'. :D No, Draco won\'t see Ginny, (I\'m sticking to canon in this series) but Tonks might think of her, heh. Reminded of Dr. Jeckyll...ever see Julia Roberts as Mary Reilly?

Aww....
Should the twins send Tonks a toilet seat? Ever the romantics are Fred and George. Though I must say, I enjoyed the fact that Remus was enough of a gentleman to let Tonks have her fantasy ;)

Author's Response: Remus is such a gentleman, snicker, snicker, (He was the one who told Sirius \'Ladies First\', :D) No toilet seat, but there will be a ghoul in an upstairs toilet in ch 3!

Oh wow. Moonlight and Shadow is complete? Damn! Now I feel guilty about not reviewing for awhile! On that note, my many apologies for being first stuck with exams and then with a funky computer Ė that sucked!

And now for an actual review:

This was a really moving chapter. From hate to love to anger and depression Ė wow. Thatís really incredible writing. I canít help thinking about how wonderful Tonks and Remus are for each other *really long wistful sigh*. Remus is always there for Tonks no matter what Ė what a great guy!

Which brings me to the endingÖ..

They got married!!! Yay!!!!!! Iím so thrilled that they finally tied the knot.
And just out of curiosity, how many chapters did it take to get to this point?

Canít wait for the next story!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, but they\'re not married yet! Just married in their hearts, for lack of better words. There was no formal vows, just a promise between the two of them. I\'ll have them marry one day, but it won\'t be until the end of the DH story. Not counting one shots, this is the 91st chapter in the series.
