Hogwarts Sorting Hat: Based on Myers-Briggs Personality Typing
"I'm no Ravenclaw, but I finally learnt to take no for an answer." When James stops asking Lily out, she tells him that's not Quidditch!
Ooh! I really liked this... :) it was really cute and not cliched which was a relief, especially for a Lily/James fic. Fantastic job!
Author's Response: Thank you! Cliches are fun in a Mary Sue parody, but not in a \'real\' romance. :D
Summary: Christmas is fast approaching, and Molly Weasley has never been busier. Ginny is two, Ron is three, the twins are five, Percy is seven, Charlie just turned eleven and Bill turned thirteen in November, so there is no wonder poor Molly has her hands full.
To top it all off, as Christmas approaches so does the gathering Molly and Arthur are to host on Christmas day: the first ever family reunion since the first war, which ended only a couple of years ago, for either the Prewetts or the Weasleys… This Christmas is going to take a miracle to get through...
AND hearty thanks to HermyRox12 for her QsQ nimination. The twins send a toast-by-owl from the Christmas party.
I loved this story. =D It was heart-warming and canon and beautifully written. Ten million stars to you! >throws confetti happily
Author's Response: I\'m so glad people like this - and thank you for taking the time to review! *Attempts to catch confetti*
Summary: The intrepid adventure of a departing student in pursuit of a certain inexplicably attractive Potions professor. Silly with a twist of bitter.
Wow.. this was a sort of surprising ending... it kind of reminds me of Shirley Jackson stories (er, at least I think that's her name) where you are completely bemused at the end. This was really good- I especially like "who the hell is in charge of the Out Loud Voice?" moments. =D
Author's Response: It\'s funny, the end seems to throw everybody, but that wasn\'t the intent. It was just supposed to be more of Teh Funneh, you know--everyone sees Snape as this total undersexed lonely-heart, so it seemed perfectly funny to suggest he\'s getting it from all these students, female AND male. Now that I think about it, though, my point was to show that he fantasizes about Harry, but it could be interpreted that he was remembering it...eek. Well, what the heck, that\'s funny too. In a twisted way.
Summary: Hi, I’m Lily Evans. You know, there are a lot of fics about me out there. I’m flattered that you spend time thinking about me, but sometimes sickened. How could these fics not mention my
bonkers beautiful cat, Missy? And what about my evil and malicious extremely helpful conscience? Or the fact that I make a fool out of myself at every opportunity am unique?
Well, this fic has all of these things. It also has L.O.V.E (I’m the ‘L’), the elite group of
cliquey lovely girls that I am part of. And our rival, the sarcastic cynic also unique Iola Potter (cousin and partner in crime to James). But does it have an actual plot? Of course not Absolutely! And it starts with me getting a detention with Iola (through no fault of my own, of course). And we kind of ... almost ... well, we get on alright. A friendship sparks, shall we say. I have no idea how it happens It is meant to be. But it’s going to take some fighting for if we want to keep it. It would be a lot easier to just stick to what we know, really. We were perfectly happy hating each other. But ... well. I guess you’ll have to find out!
Read this or I’ll curse you Read this and I’ll love you!
I like how you've incorporated the fact that Lily was popular and popular people often times get caught up in clique-ish behavior... you've portrayed this so accurately-- it's a breath of fresh air after the standard Lily/Sirius match/Lupin Match.. friends get along perfectly. Great fic so far! =)
Author's Response: Yep, that was the plan all along! I\'m glad I\'m actually able to portray that. I originally thought \"what if there were really cliquey girls she was constantly battling with?\" and then I thought, \"What if she WAS one of those cliquey girls??\" And thus, L.O.V.E was born ... Thanks for reviewing!
