God how I hate the bio. Let me see... a little bit about me. I'I love to write and I love the books. I have a daughter who will begin reading on her own in a year or so. I live in the US and have all my life. Next to the books, the best import from England is New Castle Brown Ale. My favorite chatacter in the series is Ron. When I took the quiz at quizfarm I scored as Ron. Go figure. The story I have just finished is about Ron and Ron/Hermione. The long story I am working on now is about Ron. I hope you like my stories and leave reviews that will help me be a better writer.

You scored as Ron Weasley. You often feel like second best and as a result don't have an awful lot of self confidence, but a truer more capable friend would be hard to find.

Summary: *Nominated for 2006 Annual Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Original Character in reference to Rathius Ratbone*

I love your work in general. Reading it caused me to take up my pen (or word processor in this case) again. As much as I love your writing, I must say that this chapter surpassed anything you have written to date on this site. Without a doubt, the best work you have done. As much as it pains me to say this, I'll be okay with you taking your time if this is the result. The fight with Ratbone and the Quidditch match were spectacular.

Author's Response: Thank you so much. I think it\'s interesting, as I\'ve got lots of reviews saying that \"this was the best chapter you\'ve written EVAR!!!\" and I notice that they\'re all a little different, you know? Which I think is more a function of the reader\'s taste. Still, I\'m so glad you think this is the best chapter simply because I kind of changed my approach when I wrote it, as I think I mentioned in the a/n. I felt myself slipping from certain things, so in a way this chapter was me trying to get back to them. Anyway, I\'m glad you loved the action, I don\'t know how much Quidditch I have left in my future of fanfic writing, but you can bet your bum that you have not seen even close to the last fight scene from me. Thanks a bunch.

I have really enjoyed this series. I read on your blog that you thought the story was going badly. It isn't. I wrote my first fanfic after reading yours. They have got me writing again. Keep em coming!

Author's Response: ACH! my blog? Er... i didn\'t think people even went there anymore. I\'m sorta sorry you went, so much of it is just me and my friends messing around. Anyway, thank you so much, it really is a huge shock to me that this story is so well received. i really didn\'t expect this one to be anything special, but people keep insisting that it is, so I\'ll just shut up about that.

This is my twist on what happened during chapter seventeen of OoTP when Hedwig appeared to Harry during History of Magic. Hedwig's POV. Some minor swearing. One-Shot.

What can I say. I liked it. Especially the part about the teachers discussing what caused the injury amongst themselves. I had never really thought about it before, but that is a real good obsevation.

I am happy that the story continues. This plot twist came out of nowhere and I was afraid that the last chapter would be, well, the last chapter. I hope you have more planned after this as well.

Author's Response: I haven\'t decided if there will be a sequal to this. I have thought about it but if it will ever become a reality is yet to be seen.

Anyway, I\'m glad you have enjoyed the story and thanks for the review. :D

I knew it! It just had to be Hermione! The Snape/Bella romance is good too. I'm also pleased to see that 12 is in the queue (hope I spelled that right. I'm American and we just don't use that word here). The suspense is killing me. On a more technical note, I like the cohesiveness of your chaptered stories. I was wondering if you are a planner or if you just write it and then work out the bugs later? I plan a lot before I write and I'm working on my first long story now. I've always wondered if this is rare or common.

Author's Response: Hehe! Yes, it\'s Hermione. A lot of my readers figured it out too. I guess I was a little too liberal with my hints.

The Snape/Bella pairing was more fun then I expected. I started out only doing Bella/Lucius. This is the first time I have paired her with anyone else and I have really enjoyed it.

I believe you spelled queue right. I\'m from Canada and we don\'t use that here either. I didn\'t have a clue what it was when I started out on this site. I was like: What is that? I had to look it up in the dictionary!

The suspense is killing you, huh? Well then you\'ll be happy to know you will know all before too long. There are only fourteen chapters and thirteen of them are complete. The last two just need to be typed and proofread.

As for planning, I don\'t plan one-shots. I just set down and see where they go. Hence, my story about Beneath the Shell, which I posted in response to your review for A Black Destiny. But for chaptered fics I do a very detailed outline. I want to know where it\'s going. I want to know that I am not going to contradict myself. And I want to make sure that I will be able to finish it before I start posting. I would hate to get people hooked on a story and then go blank and not be able to come up with an ending.

Anyway, thanks so much for the review. They really mean a lot.

I think it is kind of interesting that Bella had to kill her sister to obey the Dark Lord and that you had to mirror the task in your story. You had to "kill" your vision of Bella for your prompt. I bet it helped out with the story to a degree. Although I know that you will probobly disagree with me on this, but I think it very possible that Bella would kill her sister. Although we don't have much on her from canon, she still came across as ruthless. On to a different point. This story is one of the reasons that you are one of two authors in my favorites list. I never thought that I would like Bella, but I do now. Nobody really thinks about what the choices we make can do to us. I just hope that people read the other stories so they see all this clearly.

Author's Response: :D That is an interesting way to look at it. I never really thought of myself as mirroring Bella\'s actions. Very cool observation.

And yes, of course, I disagree that Bella would kill her sister. I don\'t buy it for a second, but I know that most HP fans would. The prompt said to keep the final task true to the characters personality. And I\'ll be honset, I considered keeping my version of Bella. I considered having her refuse to kill Andromeda, but in the end I knew that this ending would be more plausable for most readers and I gathered that was what the prompt wanted so I did it. But I still feel bad about it now. I can\'t believe I wrote Bella doing that. :\'(

:D Thank you again, for adding me to your favorite authors list. And it is wonderful to hear that I have made you like Bella. It\'s hard to make people warm up to her and I love to hear that I have managed to accomplish it. I used to hate her too, actually. :O When I finished book five I would have tortured her to insanity and back. Oddly enough it was my own fan fic that changed my view of her. It was Beneath the Shell to be more exact. I don\'t even know what happened. I don\'t know where that story even came from. I wrote it in one sitting, I had never thought about it before, it just came out. And after that, I just loved Bella. She became my favorite character. And as you, and everyone else who talks HP with me at all, already know I would now defend her to the death. It was all very strange.

That seemed like a lot of typing...I wonder how long this is. Anyway, thanks so much for the review and I\'m really glad that you enjoy my stories and my Bella. :D

This is just one of those fics that make me feel like writing a founders era fiction myself. It was inspired. I just have one little nit to pick and I may be wrong.
I think that Salazar was a teacher at the school for a little while. At least that's the impression I got CoS and Professor Binn's lecture.

Author's Response: Hey thanks for the review. You know, it\'s been such an awfully long time since I read CoS (shame on me) that I totally didn\'t remember anything like that. You have some amazing memory for details! Thanks for letting me know about that--I\'ll have to go check it out! :D ~GG

What a great story! I loved the way you set the time frame by using Cassandra Trelawney. I also enjoyed the idea of the spooky woods being the Deathly Hallows. Normally I'd leave a concrit, but my brain is fried from my own challenge entry tonight and I'd forget to tell you about your wonderful story if I waited so, good job!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! This is my first fic that I\'ve written that mentions Cassandra Trelawney. I hope your brain gets unfried.

WOW! I have been waiting for this one since I first found your stories and read the plans for it. The prologue did not disappoint.

I like the power that your villian portrays. He knows his quarry well and has no fear of him. I am interested to see what Harry and Ron make of him in the first encounter. Your portrail of the Wizarding world is also excellent.

I also think that you have written this in a different style than your other works, though it does bring to mind the quidditch match and battle scene from Epilogues II. All in all though I think that this style suits your idea very well. I cannot wait for the next installment.

Author's Response: AWESOME! Yes the style is different from everything else I have written, and I think that\'s because I\'m trying to get as far from trying to imitate JKR, and as close to my own voice as humanly possible now. This story is my own. I\'m glad that the main villain is already intriguinging, but you\'ve got a long wait until our heroes confront him head on. Oh man am I excited to get this ball rolling. I\'ve got so many twists and turns waiting for you...
