WILL THERE EVER BE AN UPDATE????
I THINK IT'S A HOAX!
Is this the last chapter or not?
Just got two more emails, now I know it's a hoax. I've been waiting for this forever. Come on guys! PLEASE.
Summary: My version of Book 7. Harry sets off on his quest for Voldemort’s Horcruxes and discovers the true loyalties of certain wizards. He also receives some much-needed help from Hogwarts, though the school itself remains closed. The war against Voldemort rages on and spreads in the Wizarding community. As the death toll rises, Harry, Ron, and Hermione desperately search for the pieces of Voldemort’s soul and the key to his downfall. The lives they had known crumble around them, and the Trio finally come to realize that nothing, not even each other, can be secure anymore.
I really love your writing. This is one of my favorite "book 7 theory" stories. Please keep doing what you're doing.
By the way, poor Snape, and I really feel bad for Harry and Draco now. Just hoping that they know where they are going to run.
Author's Response: Thank you, I\'ll try to keep doing what I\'m doing! ;) I\'m having a lot of fun writing this story, so the updates should never really cease until the last spell has been cast! (oh so poetic!) No, Harry and Draco really have no idea where they\'re going, and that issue is going to come up in the next chapter, but anyway I\'m rambling sooo much, so... Thanks for the review!!! :D
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
With people like you writing amazingly engrossing stories like this one, maybe JKR's ending HP won't be nearly as traumatic to me.
Please update soon. I love your work.
Author's Response: Belive me, I only created this story so that HP\'s last run won\'t be so traumatic to ME. (& it builds a lot of good theories too, but anyway) I\'m glad it helps someone else, though, too. Just call it my Potter Therapy! LoL Thanks for the review, I\'ll update as soon as I can!
Summary: With the help of an ancient spell, his friends, and love, Harry embarks on his mission to destroy Voldemort. What will happen on the way? With Ginny, Ron, and Hermione by his side, will Harry find the solution? And where do Neville and Luna fit in all this?
And, as of August 25, 2006, I'm done. I sure hope you liked it!
Sheesh. I just want to say thank you. This story was incredibly good. I love the under lying hope through it all. I cannot wait to read the sequel.
Author's Response: You are most welcome. I am glad that the story that had been flitting around in my mind for ages is something that other people can enjoy. That means a lot to me! I hope you enjoy the sequel, which is decidedly darker than the first.
Summary: Sense: a word of so many meanings. This is a story about senses. The common sense notion of self preservation that is lost when friends are in need, the senses of the body that can be damaged so easily, and the intuitive senses of the heart that tell you when things have changed. R/Hr focused with a little bit of H/G, not a lot of fluff, with rotating views between the characters on a truly horrific day.
Quicksilver Quills Runner-Up - Best Romance, Canon
doesn't matter what category it's in, I love it. I just found this story and im so glad i did. please don't keep us waiting too long.
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you enjoyed it! Props to you for reading 75 pages worth of fanfic =)
Summary: Harry swore to go after Voldemort by himself. Ron and Hermione have promised to help him, even if it means not going back to Hogwarts. But can three underqualified wizards stop the Dark Lord alone? My version of Book 7...
ah, crap! you left me totally hanging. I wasn't expecting the end of that chapter for some reason.
Summary: The Dark Lord has learned of the Unbreakable Vow. He is displeased, and prepared to punish his unfaithful servants.
Bellatrix and Severus end up going into hiding together, and they are forced to relive the one thing they ever had in common.
IT WAS SO HERMIONE! HAHA! So how is Snape going to deal with having the"insufferable know-it-all" for a daughter? I really hope that he can come back around to Bella, they need each other right now.
Author's Response: Yes, it was Hermione. I realized that I really gave it away when I said it was a canon character. She was the only canon character of the right age who was Muggleborn. Oh well, I guess you guys figured it out anyway. :D Yay for you guys!
And it\'s not as if Severus isn\'t a bit of an \"insufferable know-it-all\" himself. :D Anyway, he has a lot to think about right now, involving both Hermione and Bella.
This is a wonderfully engrossing story. I check everyday for updates. Please keep writing. And......
IT IS SO HERMIONE!
Author's Response: Everyday! That\'s very flattering. Thanks so much. It\'s great to hear that people are enjoying this.
\"IT IS SO HERMIONE!\"
Haha! You are the second person to say that. I can\'t tell you guys who it is! Let\'s see, I have already admitted that it is a canon character. All I can tell you is that you find out for sure in chapter eleven. :D
awww. Only 15 Chapters? So will this all be resolved? I'm quite impressed that Snape overcame his anger that quickly. Maybe he's more human than anyone ever could have hoped. Will Hermione find out, or come into play in this somehoe?
Author's Response: Yep, only fifteen. Resolved? Yes and no. Some things will be resolved but I\'ll admit that there is a bit of a cliffee at the end.
Hmmm...I actually wondered if having Snape overcome his anger so quickly would be OOC, but I thought it worked here. Normally, Snape is the type to hold a grudge, but we have never seen him have a run-in with someone he actually cared about. I think because Bella\'s motivations were good, she took risks for his child, and because he has growing feelings for her, he was able to forgive her.
And, yes, of course, Hermione will be making an appearance. It wouldn\'t be much fun if she didn\'t show up at all. But I tell you that it\'s probably not what you would expect. I will take this opportunity to remind you that this story is in the Dark/Angsty category, and that\'s all I\'ll say.;)
Thanks so much for the review! :D
Summary: Sequel to Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived.
Follow our favorite heroes continue their lives after the defeat of Voldemort. Someone wants revenge and will stop at nothing to get it. Is this a battle they can win or will they lose what is most precious to them?
I think I like where this is going so far. SO when are we going to get more background info? Will it be a chapter of it's own, or will we have to wait for the heros to uncover it and piece it together?I guess I'm just waiting to see this Ciara D'arcy's connection to Hogwarts, Dumbledore, and Tom Riddle himself. Please don't make me wait too long.
Author's Response: Okay. This is the second time trying to get this review to stick. I can\'t remember everything I wrote the first. The rest of the infor on Ciara will be reveleaed through her contact with the \'hero\'s\' and through her witty dialogue at the end of the next couple of chapters. For those of you who are confused, let me explain that chapters two-four are all taking place during the same day. Chapter five and six moves the timeline along a few days. Then, chapters seven-nine are all taking place during the same day. After chapter nine, all holds are released and time is free to move forward at will. Ciara does not have the luxury of time, as Voldemort did. Her plan requires that her victims be attacked and out of the way before an antidote is discovered. The longer it takes her to complete her tasks, the closer they will get to finding out how to heal her victims and prevent anymore \'accidents\'. Many people, by the way - to answer you questions about Ciara\'s connection to Hogwarts and Dumbledore - make the incorrect assumption that Ciara was at Hogwarts at the same time as Voldemort. Let me set the record straight... She was not. Ciara was homeschooled by her mother while she learned to control her morphing. Could you imagine her being at Hogwarts as a young student and morphing into a snake when she was upset? Her mother would have had some mighty detailed explaining to do. Her lack of social interaction is what led her to Voldemort. In later chapters, you will see that she connected with him on a personal level, seeing her own traits and shortcomings in him.
Summary: 2008 QSQ Awards Runner-up for Best Post-Hogwarts
Harry defeated Voldemort. Harry married Ginny. Harry and Ginny had five children. Harry disappeared. My name is Lily Potter, and this is the story of what happened when my father returned after six years missing to find my mother about to re-marry. This is the story of myself, my crazy family, and most of all, this is the story of my parents and the man who tried to come between them. (pre-Deathly Hallows)
"Oh, I can so die happy now!" -Sirius Potter
I Love this story, thanks so much.
Author's Response: :)
Now the new year seems really far away. I can't wait. This is easily, and very honestly, my favorite story ever. I'm trying to get my mind around Harry not greeting Ginny though. Is he angry with her? This is an interesting development. See ya in '07.
Author's Response: That does seem weird, it hardly feels like it\'s been 2006 for very long! I\'m glad you liked it so much, telling me that just makes my day :) As for Harry\'s greeting of Ginny, or lack there of, more will be explained in the next chapter. Until then, here\'s a little food for thought: if you came home after being imprisoned to find the woman (or man, if such is the case) you loved about to remarry, wouldn\'t you be a tiny bit upset? And then, what if your daughter unknowingly told you (when you were a stag) that her mother loved someone else? How would you be feeling then? Thanks for the review!
WHOA! FInally! HArry's here! Excellent chapter! THank you very much for this story I lvoe it. Please keep them coming.
Author's Response: You are most welcome!
Again, I love this story. Really that's all there is to say. Can't wait for the update!
Author's Response: That\'s quite enough to inflate my ego, really!
I love this story. There is just one thing bothering me though. When Harry is revealed to Ginny (soon I hope!), is there going be a situation where she will want to stay with dick anyway? I don't think I can stand the whole back and forth thing.
But I do love the story, share in the desparation that Ginny is feeling, and oddly enough, I love the titles of your chapters. Keep it up, and please don't take too long for the update.
Author's Response: I\'m glad even the chapter titles are appreciated! As to what\'s bothering you, I\'ll answer you with a question. If your wife (or husband) was getting set to marry someone else, what would you do? Maybe it\'s not up to Ginny what happens next. . . . Thanks for the review.
A Smell of Sulfur - Part One of the Romulus and Remus Trilogy by The Webspinner
Rated: 6th-7th Years [Reviews - 132]
Summary: Twenty years after the death of Voldemort. A murderer is on the loose, and he is using a powerful weapon - a creature known as the Atronach, a beast of fire that leaves traces of sulfur where it makes its kill.
Ron Weasley is the first to stumble across these murders, and Harry Potter arranges for the old trio, plus Ginny, to team up and face this threat. The mysterious orphaned teenage girl Amanda, whom Harry keeps as a foster child under nebulous circumstances, also offers her help.
However, underlying the case of the murders is a much deeper conspiracy, one involving the last true disciple of the Dark Lord, a man who operates in the shadows, a man who seems to be directing and predicting the every move of the trio and their quarry...a man who may be more powerful than Voldemort himself. Even though the threat of a sadistic murderer is high, it only conceals a far greater one. And in this story of love, deception, fear, hate, anger, betrayal, courage, and passion, the unanswered question is - when will this mysterious orchestrater tip his hand? Part One of a trilogy.
I really love this story. It's been sitting in my favorites foerver. Is it abandoned? Is there a conclusion somewhere else? Someone please! please! please! tell me there is.
you horrible, horrible tease!
Author's Response: (Evil grin) I know! I\'m awesome, ain\'t I?
